Well, as usual my latest adventure with love has ended quite poorly, the following is what sprang to mind.

Betrayal
Deception
A dagger rammed through my heart
I've felt this pain before but never has it left my soul so dark
The world was once full of hope and opportunity
But now all that I can see is a desolate world full of faceless lies
Compassion is now but a memory as I stare out at the world vacantly.
Wounds from ended loves long since past now open fresh
my mind frantic with thoughts that make me wish for death.
This Vagrant Bard has once again falled to learn his lesson
and with each new wound the pain that follows, far from lessens.
