People should stop writing fan-fics, if they're expecting support to continue them. If you want to start a fan-fic(or fan-FICS) You should write them because YOU want to, not because of how many people post or good comments you get on them. Still, put both quality and quantity(in paragraphs) in your work, add a banner, if the mood takes you, and finish what you start. Those are some of the good qualities of being a fan-fic writer, not just merely writing stories. ^_^

There's a story behind Kenta seeing naked pictures of Flannery on Deviantart.  I was looking for a suitable pic to steal and pin on Hoenn Insane, one that would make Flannery's head roughly the same size as Kenta's.  Google Image Search and Serebii episode guide photography proved to be completely worthless, so I turned to the only other source I knew.  I wasn't prepared for what I saw.  Don't ever look up "Flannery" on Deviantart, unless you're deliberately looking for naughty pics.

Kids these days, geez. Tongue

Well, this is it until the end of Summer (unless I can somehow hook up my Paint to the Internet).  Behold the last Hoenn Insane strip you'll see in a while.  I suppose this thread isn't to die, but hibernate, since I'm not done with it yet.

Ketna is about to have his team slaughtered except Shedinja, which'll have a Hyper Beam phase through it and then Ketna will be hyper-beamed to the next millenia... or the nearest Pkmn centre without a crazy nurse, which ever is closer. See? I remember the story well...

EDIT: Crap.  I won't be able to update the talkshow tonight.  My roommates just turned on the T.V. really loud.  I can't concentrate at all.

I've finally cracked in one area.  I had confidence that I could finish the Hoenn Insane comic, and now I don't think I will be able to.  My role model, Spoony, gave up on his review of FF8.  I think that brought me down for good.  The problem with the comic was that it took too much effort for too little results.  I could never figure out how to make it big and legible enough to comfortably read.  Kenta was misshapen, and going back to change his features would've been a b**ch to do.  I found out that all this time, I should've been attacking godmods instead of Mary-Sues (after finally doing a thorough research on what most people consider them.)  Mary-Sue herself just looked too much like Myrrh to be acceptable.  Paint required too much effort to get everything down, and I don't have a program that lets me put layers of pictures on top of one another.  George Bush will be gone before I get a chance to make fun of him.  Too many special effects, such as the one where Kenta uses Neji's Twelve Trigrams, had to be used, to keep the comic from being about a bunch of talking heads with minimum emotions.

And those reasons are all just off the top of my head.

So I have to let it go.  I managed to get up to the part where Zigzagoon hits Kenta with Hyper Beam, and for that I borrowed a Shoop Da Woop mouth and had it yell "I'M A FIRIN' MAH LAZAAAAARRRRR!"  It came out well, but the hospital scene afterwards just dragged on and on.  I put it off for too long, and eventually just stopped looking at it altogether.  It was some good spriting experience though, and I definitely gained some creative wisdom from it.  For instance, I never thought I'd be able to create all of my characters from Fire Emblem portrait bases.  What a confidence builder experience is.

I've gotta swallow my pride and do what I loathe most: ditching a project.  I guess I replaced it with the talkshow of mine, and I'm definitely not going to back out on that.  Unlike the comic, this I can handle.  I'll officially be able to end it when all of my primary characters have been interviewed . . . and maybe some characters from other members.

That being said, I'll finish up Kristora's interview, and have it posted up within (hopefully) six hours.  I've already completed her portrait.  It came out pretty well, I think, and I'm proud of it.

So, was there anything else I wanted to talk about tonight . . . the debate forum?  I'm happy it has become freed up again.  My only concern is that the topics may be short-lived, and we won't be able to come up with anything else once all the good stuff is taken.  I guess we might do borderline stuff and create hypothetical situations that could never really happen.  I did one just the other night.  Say someone murdered one of your family members, and he was caught and apprehended.  Suppose you could transfer his remaining years of life to your dead family member, so only he would be dead.  Would it be okay to do that?

Now, that debate is purely hypothetical, and I certainly don't want it done in here.  I'm just thinking it might turn out that way.  My Multicultural Education teacher gave something similar in class, and it screwed with our minds.  She listed ten people, each with flaws.  The world was about to be nuked, and there was a bunker that could hold six of them.  The other four would be left to die.  We had to choose the six people who would live to (possibly) repopulate the earth.  That kind of an activity would sure make you feel like a bad person.  And how about the popular hypothetical situations, like in X-men?  If people were starting to become mutants, and they found a way to undo the process, would it be right to have mutants all take the medicine?  I foresee the debate forum putting out stuff like that.  I suppose my question would be: is that stuff worth arguing about?  I don't have an answer for that.

Oh well.  Brain's refusing to focus any more.  I'll call that it.  BTW, yay, NNG is finished!  I'm happy about that!

This topic shall serve as a reminder of my failure.  There is no point in keeping it open anymore.
