Alright, so there's been a lot of humdrum over the extreme deficit at which the United States is operating. Just curious, if you Aisenfielders had a chance to take total fiscal control over the country, what would you do to bring down the debt/deficit, if anything? Just a side note, the 2011 federal budget is estimated to cause $1.645 trillion in deficit spending...no pressure, Aisenfield.

Sorry for it being a fairly late post, and being after the 120 day limit, but I feel I should put my opinion out:
Wipe the debt. Why? It's all on paper and in data, but not in actual fact there. This money didn't just disappear out of nowhere - the money is owed, as it were, to the future. Or it was, at last check. By the future, I mean an indiscernible point in time that the "experts" decided it was to be used at. While I believe we need this depression, because it's a whole part of cause and effect, if we all continue to buy as we used to, then the depression would be over quicker. Depression is a central key component of capitalism, but the debts of over $1.6 trillion are owed to no-one but the future, as otherwise one country or more wouldn't be in the situation the world is in.
