It's not really that original, they made a movie out of a comic. I'll admit fight scenes and effects were awesome just don't like most of the beginning

When was the last time you saw a movie with mock video game fighting style scenes? It's pretty original man.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it in a couple other movies, just not as effective or good as SP did it

Exactly. They did it the best, and they pulled off the video game-movie thing very well, unlike most video-game/comic-movie adaptations.

This. Plus that's not the only thing they did that was cool and new. Especially in times like these were every movie is a tired cliche trying to be the new (insert classic here), it's refreshing to see someone try something AND DO IT WELL.

So then what's this argument about? I've only said good things about the visuals and what not

There's an argument? I thought we're just agreeing with each other all the way.

There is no movie to play the "Comic Book brought to Life" bit.

Scott Pilgrim is exactly that: A live-action comic book. Everything about it's cinematography and style is unique and there are no two scenes similar in that movie.

Also, The Vegan Police are Priceless.
