Quote Design Contest (Open for Judging)

Welcome to the Aisenfield ‘Quote Design’ contest!

The contest is fairly simple.  I will supply a list of three quotes, and each participant will choose one and illustrate it using both the words and their design skills.  Any type of design is open; typography only, photos taken either by you or found off the internet (giving due credit when it is needed; anime or other media is accepted as well), or images of your own creation through brushes and effects.  Basically, a design free-for-all.



There are only a few rules:

1. Your design has to represent the quote in some way, shape or form.

2. You can only use one of the three quotes.

3. Only one banner can be submitted per batch of three quotes (per contest).  You can, however, change your entry as many times as you like before the deadline.

4. Respect all rules of this forum and Aisenfield.

5. There are two banner dimensions you can use: 200 x 500 pixels, or 150 x 550 pixels.

6. The participants will judge the entries at the end of the contest through their integration of the quote, design techniques used, and overall effect of the banner.  Participants can not vote for themselves.

7. First and second place winners will be given a corresponding banner for their signature.  Depending on the amount of entries, a third place may be added.

8. More rules may be added later, if I’ve forgotten any.

You can use downloaded brushes and the like, just if there's mention of giving credit somewhere, you could write down who made it.  The credit is more directed towards half-drawn pictures and the like though ^.^

Okay~ Thank you <3 If its an image from google that doesn't need to be acredited or belongs to anyone (like a picture of a forest that hasn't been watermarked/credited) thats okay to use right?

Okay. I may not make many banners, but I'm pretty sure people will be hard-pressed to take this on. >:D

Good old Mega Man X: back in that day, Zero's sacrifice actually meant something to us players, because we had no reason to believe he'd be coming back.

EDIT: There, the text is better. I also scrapped the shadow border for a lined one instead.

Yeah, I'm sure everyone got really attached to Zero over the forty seconds he spent on screen before getting blown up.
