my half of an art trade with Zarean. Sorry for failing so hard with Kaisa. >.< There are so many mistakes its not even funny. I decided to practice inking traditionally and I'm pretty sure that was just a downright failure. I hope you like anyway? I tried to show his personality, not sure if I succeeded or just failed miserably. >.<

Kaisa! ~<3 Waah! I'm so happy to see him in another Artists style. The coloring in his face and hair is fantastic, it looks very realistic, and you have exceptionally good hands (I wish my hands turned out that good!). Thank you thank you thank you! I love his expression. He seems... angry about something, or maybe that's him taunting? Its fun to try and figure it out ^ ^

Only thing that looks odd is his right arm (On the left side of the picture).

You make me feel like a slowpoke. I've only got a sketch done DX

@STARMAN: My pleasure~ Thanks for letting me draw him. Sorry I've been playing around with inking styles lately (in case you guys haven't noticed; pencil, digital, trad. pen ink lmao)

Zarean: I can draw hands, but I can't draw feet at all XD (nor can I draw a full body but lol). I'm so glad you like him! I'm not fast at all, I just had nothing better to do for a day and since I'm moving back into dorms soon I thought I should take advantage of time while I have it and get it done. I noticed that, I still have trouble with arms and positioning of proportions etc. Sorry!

Don't feel slow, everyone works at their own pace, It took me a good many hours to do so don't worry about a thing <3

Anyway, for some reason, your style strikes me as a bit odd. But that's a stylistic thing and no style is really better than another.

Oh La-la-la-love it!
You're coloring if fantastic, you know. It reminds me oil paintings, and you're masterful at it. So beautiful! It gives the skin and clothing so much texture. Wow. It doesnt look like you put as much time into the hair though, it's not as stand out as the rest. Maybe more highlighting and value to the hair would bring the hair to life? Just a thought. But it's gorgeous none-the-less.

@Zarean, oh true, now that you mention it. I think when I was trying to make it darker I colored over the highlights and then forgot to re-highlight. lol. thank you for the crit! I appreciate it~

I might, I might not. If I'm shoved in front of my own face in a mirror, with some markers/ebony for an hour or so, I'll do a good self portrait.

I mostly draw non-humans, so the matter's still undecided.

For the record, I like your pencilish stuff better than the digitals—I'm a sucker for sketchiness. Anyway, Kilala thar looks fine, for the most part. It's just, those legs seem a bit short for a shot that isn't from an angle.

This is Lalaith, a character of mine for a different rp site. I wasn't going to post here but i haven't done anything at all here for a while so I thought it couldn't hurt.

Lala's an easygoing fellow, very nice to talk too, he always has a smile on his face. He's a pleasant sort of being and his favorite color is teal. in case you couldn't tell. ^^
