You could always fight E4 Aaron over and over with only Crobat in your party. Crobat should be able to KO everything in one or two hits. Of course, the financial losses incurred would be staggering, so either invest your fortune in Coins or kiss it goodbye. s:

You can beat 'em in the level 40 range, 'specially in Platinum when they got a downgrade by three levels. You really just have to type-trump, know what they have, and plan REALLY far in advance.
E.G:
Golem/Rhyperior(Preferred, in my opinion.)
Staraptor
Roserade
Houndoom
Gyarados (<-- Teach it Dragon Pulse, and EV train it's spc. Atk. **** THAT GARCHOMP!)

If you type-trump correctly, you should be able to one-two shot everything that they have. Still, while it CAN be done in the 40 range, be in the fifties just to be safe. My team is too vulnerable to single types, so I had a tough time, but that team up there would be TOUGH to take down. 'Specially if it was trained correctly.

Well like I said I beat them already. Now I'm gonna change up my team a little bit for the new challenges ahead. Maybe I didn't train it to its full potential but my Dusknoir just isn't as effective as I was hoping and so I'm dropping it for Rhyperior and I'm also thinking about switching out Crobat for Weavile.

Yeah I've noticed that too. I only played through once so far just for the fun of it. Anyways I finally got my adamant Rhyhorn so now I just have to trade over my Weavile from Pearl for my remodeled team.

This is prolly really stupid, but how do you get the National Dex? I've seen every Pokemon except Rotom, but I've heard you have to see all the Sinnoh Dex Pokemon to get the National Dex... WTF. What else to I have to do? I've spoken with Professor Rowan and I know that Rotom appears in the Old Chateau after doin' some **** which I already know how to do. What now?

So thanks to some assistance from PB and some down right awesome trades I'm in the middle of/going to soon start raising an adamant Ralts, adamant Heracross, jolly Weavile and adamant Absol along with my own adamnt Rhyhorn and Elekid.
