Yes it has been confirmed that the remakes of Gold/Silver are happening  They are set for a release in Japan in Autumn I believe and I've been told that won't be until next March/April so we still have a long wait, but it's finally happening! What do you hope to see in these remakes? I'd hope they will still keep the day/night thing running, as well as add in Pokemon from the two newer series so there is more to do (perhaps even add in the Hoenn/Sinnoh regions if they feel like being nice, which would be awesome). I've been playing my Crystal a lot lately since I got the battery replaced but I don't know how long it'll last, so I'm damn excited that an updated version is coming out soon. A friend of mine posted a link to Serebii showing the first pictures of the game, it shows your starter following you around The graphics are the same as the D/P ones. I'd give a direct link but I quit the window a little while ago, but they shouldn't be too hard to find on Serebii. |
