[Oyashiro-sama]

Alright...well, in English we're starting poetry, and I find that I actually like it So, just for you guys here at Aisenfield, I'm going to post my works of art. That is...I will on Monday, when I can find my English notebook. Until then though, I suppose you'll just have to wait patiently. Oh, and it'd help if you guys here at Aisenfield gave me some ideas for what to write about too.

I am From

I am from big stairs
from many green trees
I am from the dark cupboards
I am from closets
the many dark places
whose number I don't remember
but they numbered more then 5

I am from old and gone
from Sue & one long gone
I'm from the forgotten
the ones with no respect
From many good foods
From the smell of chicken
chicken in it's many forms
and Olives too

From many different interests
Lilium & Ender's Game
I am from anime
and the computer too

I am from many honking horns
From anime I am
and from gaming too.
I am this, from beginning to end

I don't Understand

I don't understand
How people are ignorant
Why wars begin
When right is wrong

But most of all
Why people go hungry
What goes through minds
How people are cruel
Why people change

What I understand most is
How life works
Why the sun rises
How rare love is to discover
Why tragedies occur

[Doru]

That doesn't even rhyme, just kidding they're free verse right. They're pretty good, I like the second one more than the first

:p Yeah, free verse indeed. So far we're doing things based on things the teacher's assigned, like the first was I am from, sort of the things that make up me. The second is obviously things I don't understand

I suck at poems, the only ones I've made were about wynaut, being bored and a fake dog named skip

Times Long Past

6 years have passed
One friend almost forgotten
Aaron left behind
miles between Idaho and I
The hurt it must of given
to know his best friend was gone
but the days that were spent
went not to waste
I shall not forget the eyes
Blue as sky blue those eyes were
Hair as brown as dirt too
6 long years have passed
Not one memory lost
Hopefully one day
One day I hope to say
"Long time no see" just one day

Now, this poem was supposed to be about...something, that I forgot.

Winter

Winter sneaks in, quiet and invisible
It kills all plants
Puts animals to hibernation
With a torrent of snow
Nothing escapes, for it's everywhere
Then, akin to a flash, it's gone again
Spring moves on in

Black Cat

A black cat, like the night
Then it's as stealthy as a shadow
Deadly as an eagle too
Suddenly, it is the prey
Like the cat, the dog is deadly too
Now it is like a rat, hiding
Finally though, I am too

NATURE

The whishing wind, air
Crackling leaves of earth
Whistling bird of air
The buzzing of insects

Nature is aplenty
As in the swishing branches
The woofing dog too
& the silently swishing lake
