AP Government Paper

Paul and I have an epic paper due at the end of the year in AP Government. I need an idea so something that's creative, but not too creative. I'm considering doing the 34th rule, but I'd get kicked in the face.

So the only bounds are that it has to be modern, concerning a location or event outside the United States or multiple countries with the United States included and it has to be a problem. I essentially need a modern world problem to write about.

Any ideas? I've been looking for the past 3 days and haven't found anything half-interesting to write a 20 page paper.

that's relevant and there is lots to say about it. It's global and involves the USA.... =)
