As I was browsing a few other RPG sites across the net I saw that some of them had what they liked to call an Out Of Character Roleplay thread. I think that perhaps if our members had a place on Aisenfield to go and discuss RP's they are in or plan on being in then perhaps it could do something to help with the lack of unfinished projects. Yes we do have a roleplay request thread but this thread would be meant solely for conversing things about a specific roleplay. Each RP owner could just simply make his or her own topic in the board and the members, and possibly those planning on joining, could openly converse about the plot(as much as the owner cares to reveal), gain a better understanding of what each RPer plans to get out of this experience and get a better feel for the other members.
This in no way is my original idea but I just felt it should be mentioned. Comment if you wish.

I think it's a great idea. People might actually join a RP they thought wouldn't be interesting or fun, just by reading or joining in a discussion about it. Maybe some of the good ones won't die as often as they do. It happens all the time and it really annoyes me.

I claim LotR, the Wheel of Time and WoW, Absol, Banette and Arcanine, Blaze the Cat, the Hookshot and Ocarina of Time from LoZ and The Lion King.
I hope to be more active on the RP front, guys, especially now that Crimson's back. :T
Hit me up for a talk if you've missed me or something crazy like that. And I might open an art thread once I get my tablet.

I like the idea. ^^ It'll be different and it's possible that the RP creator could get both feedback and new ideas for the plot.

Can we expand it a bit? I'd rather not limit it to RP discussion, 'cause I have a lot of game ideas to discuss but none of them are RPs. They're sorta close, aside from the fact that they're entirely different. =/

It happens mainly because there are those who join the roleplay and then do not post. Sometimes a discussion is counter-productive... |

Um that's not exactly what I was talking about Lucy. I'm sure you know more about RPing than me but I was just proposing a board where members could go and chat completely out of character. Either way I'm sure it could work out but I would prefer the one where we just talk as ourselves. (But there can be both I suppose)

I said it'd include all the seperate categories. That includes things such as Games, Fanfics, and your OOC sub-board. We'll probably have to iron out some things, but it should all be good. I contacted Tyren about this last night but he has yet to get back to me.  |
