Evil, but loveable. ^^; I did this, well, because trying to get to it, will be a pain in the butt. And also, we're closing into the next spectacular AVA movie! Whoo-hoo!! *falls out*

Also, after this chapter, I'll be making some attempt to edit up what I previously wrote, to make it a little more... o_o Let's just put it at "better."

And, last thing, before I post the chapter, sorry for the wait.

Grandma's cookies 61: Glacia vs. Arctic; the rematch

BUT FIRST, AN OVERVIEW OF ARCTIC'S PREVIOUS ADVENTURES, FROM WHAT I HAD SKIPPED, DUE TO DIFFICULTIES

I skipped A LOT of this part, so I'll explain. After the large group of Neo-Rockets invaded, the troop flees to Johto, in which they add more members to the large group, and then set up traps for the Neo-Rockets. The traps work, and send the Neo-Rockets scurrying; but the following day, Boris leaves, to search up more information on the Neo-Rockets, from his hidden research team, somewhere in the AMLIK region. He leaves a battle party, as a celebration for driving out the Neo-Rockets in Johto. Since the Elite 4's were there, to answer to the call of a crisis, they also join the party, as well. The big party; mainly for battling, with almost 10 stadiums in one place. It was an underground battling arena, which, somehow, fit in the Team Kindness' budget. The battling lasted almost the entire day, which gave almost everyone, at least, one go, or two. Being that the Elite four was there, and he had heard that, other than Lorelei, who couldn't show, due to an emergency, there was one other Ice Elite 4, he could go for, that being his next battle; and when Arctic found her, Glacia, the curly haired, blond woman, with a long purple dress, a gray shirt of some sort, underneath it and wearing sandals on her feet. Surely, it was a climatic battle, which stopped all the other progressing battles, as soon as Arctic had stated what he wanted to be. (That seems to be the password, to unlocking the Ice trainers' full abilities, for this badge, which makes it, extremely hard to get... ^^;)
The battle lasted only 45 or so seconds, as Arctic gets his butt served to him, in a 3-on-3 match. Needless to say, he underestimated an Elite 4, and got his ass handed back to him.

The event goes on, longer, but it has very little background, on this chapter, and in the future; so it'll come back, in the future... @_@. End of overview. And now, back to our story...

As Arctic and co. heads back to Ever Grande City, with a grimace, he hopes he can get a proper rematch, knowing what to expect.
"God, I hope I don't get my ass handed back to me, like I did in Olivine..." Arctic said, with a grimace, "That was just embarrassing..."
"Yes. Yes, it was," Layla said.
"You're not helping at all, Layla..."
Layla smiles, "I know, Arctic."
"At least you stopped calling me "Arctiicans..."" Arctic mutters.
The trio heals up, in the Ever Grande Pokémon center, outside of Victory road, and then head in there, laying a smackdown on any trainer in sight. If it wasn't bad enough, any wild Pokémon was also kicked to the curb. The two girls noticed that Arctic was going to extreme lengths to not getting beaten, so badly, as to what had happened last time. The words of Bryant echo through his head, as he remembers what he had said, when he got whupped.
"Somehow, "I told ya so"... doesn't seem to cut it..." Bryant had said, Give up, kid. Even with one of the greatest Ice type Legendary Pokémon around, there's no point in trying to become an Ice Master, anymore...
Arctic never took those words at all. He still had some people he wanted to surpass, and he wouldn't let Glacia stand in his way, to greatness. He had to beat her, whatever the cost.
After pushing through the Victory road, Arctic and co. reach the Ever Grande building, after the long training. The group was tired, but Arctic's Pokémon really pushed their limits for him. After all, they didn't want to lose to Glacia, either. The group enters the building, and Arctic, tiredly, goes to the front desk.
"Pokémon... heal... now..." Arctic grunts, placing his team, on the desk, then blacking out, due to exhaustion.
Glacia appears, from the arena door, then walks over to Arctic, an eyebrow raised, "Is he okay?"
"He's been training, in Victory Road. He doesn't want to lose to you, in today's rematch," Kaiorga said.
"Hmm..." Glacia looks down on Arctic, "When he is prepared, he can meet me in the Elite 4's third room. I'll be there," Glacia hands Kaiorga a card, and a note, of where to meet her, and then turns to go there.

While Arctic blacks out, he has another one of those dreams, that warns him, of the near future. This time, however, he was talking to Luna.
"Has Ash received the note?" Arctic asks.
"Absolutely. There's no doubt that what happened will catch his attention," Luna replies.
"Witnesses?"
"None."
"What about her Pokémon?"
Luna scoffs, "Clearly unmatched. It should be alright, in the morning, though."
Arctic nods, "Good. If all falls according to plan, tomorrow night should be the night, for the date of the prophecy to begin, which will end all battles, with Freezer and Pika. All we need now, is for Ash to show his face..." Arctic turns to a bound to a chair and gagged Delia Ketchum, "Isn't that right, Delia?"

Before Arctic could continue with the dream, he starts to wake up, in one of the bunk rooms, in the Ever Grande city trainer building. He blinks twice, "I... I'll become a criminal?!" Arctic asks himself. He realizes that someone had dragged him from the front desk,  to a bed, in one of the bunk rooms, being that his arms hurt, and he had a headache, probably from hitting something, along the way. That last vision made him feel very bad. He didn't understand why he had to resort to such activity, to catch Ash's attention. And thus, he turns to the one guy he's positive that he knows the answer, "A.M.! ANSWER ME, YOU DUMB F***!!"
Sheesh, if you're going to shout at me, at least keep it within the rating, you potty mouth, A.M. said.
"Answer me this; What's with that last vision? Why do I have to kidnap that woman, to catch Ash's attention?"
... And, why should I answer you that? A.M. asks.
"Because, if you don't, I'll be sure to kick you, square in the ass, when you come down here, again..."
Wow, I'm intimidated, A.M. shudders, sarcastically, That last bit is for you to ponder. You know who you are, and how things can go for the worst, if things don't go your way.
"So, I stoop to terrorism, when I get older?!"
Arctic, you can jump to conclusions, all you like, but when the time comes, you'll understand. And, quite frankly, I'm done answering your stupid questions. Later, A.M.'s voice disappears.
"HEY! GET BACK HERE AND ANSWER ME!! I WANT MY ANSWERS NOW!!"
"ARCTIC! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU SHOUTING AT?!" Kaiorga shouts, angrily, being that she was probably doing something.
"I... err... sorry..." Arctic said, embarrassed.
After the situation calmed down, a bit, Arctic exits his room, is given the card, and note, and acknowleges what he has to do. It was now time. Time to earn his second Ice Master's badge.
Arctic enters the chilled room, that is Glacia's Elite 4 room. He was instructed to enter alone. He had seen a guy with a mohawk, and a hawaiian looking girl, along the way, but they looked at him, with sympathy and a nod, as he walks by them, and shows them his card. They didn't know Arctic, but they knew what was going on. This was, probably, one of Arctic's finest hours, they thought.
The door shuts behind Arctic, as he enters Glacia's Elite 4 room. It was a one-way ticket out, considering the outcome of the battle that was about to commence. Arctic felt there was no need for words, raising a Pokéball and prepared to challenge Glacia, when she raises her hand, forward, towards Arctic, stopping him, before the battle began.
"I applaud your determination, Arctic," Glacia said, lowering her hand, "Many other Ice trainers would've gave up, on the first try, at their attempt to beat me. I've never, once, allowed this standard to go on, but I see that you really do want to win. You also understand that there's no means of me going easy on you, and that I will do everything in my power, as an elite, to defeat you. Before we begin this battle, again, I'd like to ask you. Are you really willing to reach the lengths of the top, and try to become the ultimate Ice trainer?"
"Unless my ego states otherwise, then yes. I am," Arctic replies, "I'm willing to become the best Ice Trainer..." Arctic pulls out a Pokéball, "Whatever it takes..."
Glacia nods, as the official enters the room, "I see... Well then, Arctic, let's hope you put up more of a show, than last time!" Glacia calls out a light blue, sea lion-like Pokémon; with beige fur on it's chest and in small spots, around it's body and with a large moustache on it's face. Arctic goes with Venusaur.
The rules are; a three-on-three match. No substitutions!" the official raises his flags, "Begin!"
"Sealeo! Begin with Ice Ball!"
"Oh, no ya don't! Leafgreen! Start things off with Sunny Day then Solar beam!"
Glacia smirks, as the sunlight turns harsh and Sealeo misses it's Ice Ball, "Haven't you tried that before? Hail!"
Sealeo fires up a small beam, which then draws forth hail clouds. It starts to hail, as Venusaur begins charging for Solar Beam.
"Argh! Leafgreen! Change tactics! Abandon Solar Beam! Then use Razor leaf!"
Venusaur stops charging for power, moving to get a better position. Little did Arctic know that Glacia was preparing for an attack, herself.
"Blizzard."
As Venusaur unleashes Razor leaf, Sealeo blasts at Venusaur with a blizzard attack. The leaf projectiles are frozen shut, as they clink to the floor, rendered useless. The Blizzard keeps going, hitting Venusaur, causing it's breath to freeze as it hits the cold air, around it.
"Come on, Leafgreen, hang in there..." Arctic mutters. It was bad enough the hail was pelting down on it, and to be hit with a devastating attack, such as Blizzard, that being it's weakness.
"Aurora beam."
"Leafgreen, Sludge bomb!" Venusaur pulls itself together. Pushing itself, against it's weakness, it manages to jump out of harms way, and then start firing off sludge bombs, hitting Sealeo, dead on the mark. Sealeo glows dimly, being poisoned, "HA-HA! Pulled it off with a plomp!"
"The battle's far from over, Arctic. Water gun, then unleash Ice beam."
Arctic recognized this combo, being that Glacia used it before. The Water gun was used as a base, and Ice Beam was to finish it; for a move combo of the ice version of the move "Spikes," which, in retrospect, means that swapping Pokémon will lead onto pain. Currently, it was just made to puncture Venusaur's lower sides, as it landed, but later on, it would serve as the pain, for all of Arctic's Pokémon who didn't have wings, in this case, Aurora. Venusaur lands, just as Glacia had planned, then jumping up, from the ice shards. As it lands on un-spiked ground, it seemed rather tired. Arctic knew he had to avoid having his Pokémon jump around, like that, with Sealeo out; being that it would just add up the layers of Ice shards, leaving Venusaur no where to run, after a while. He had to keep on the offensive.
"Leafgreen, keep at it! Razor leaf!"
"Blizzard again!"
Arctic did have a bit of luck, on his side. The Hailstorm died down, and Blizzard misses, and one, VERY lucky leaf managed to hit Sealeo in a critical area, causing it to flinch from the pain.
"Wha-" Arctic, lucklily, caught onto the critical hit, and, quickly, adds on to the damage, "Quick, now, Vine Whip!"
Vine whip ensnares Sealeo, in a bind, squeezing and soon, slamming Sealeo, to the floor. It faints, and is released.
"Sealeo is unable to battle! Venusaur wins the first round!" the official said.
"Hm. Not bad," Glacia said, recalling Sealeo, "Though, you already know Sealeo's the least of your worries... After all, you beat him before, after your second Pokémon..."
"Glacia, please, don't remind me..." Arctic said, with a grimace.
Glacia holds another Pokéball, in hand, tossing it towards the field, releasing a round Pokémon, of sorts. It has a hide of ice was white, with holes that left opens spaces on it's black body, a face of two blue eyes and white top teeth within three of the large hole of the Face Pokémon, and two long cone shaped ears, on the top sides of it's heads, pointing outward, diagonally.
"Glalie, finish Venusaur with Ice beam."
"Leafgreen, Sludge bomb again!"
Glalie was faster than Venusaur, firing off ice beam, before it could even open his mouth. Venusaur was frozen shut, and finished.
"Venusaur is unable to battle! Glalie wins the round!" said the official.
Arctic recalls Venusaur. He wasn't sure how he was able to take out that Glalie. He raises his next pokeball, about to call out Regice, but stops. He had remembered something that had happened, when he did that last time.

Flashback...

"Regice! Come on out!" Arctic commands, calling out Regice.
"Sealeo! Rollout!" Glacia commands. Sealeo curls up in a ball, preparing for an attack.
"Regice! Super power!" Regice simply stands there, disobeying, "What are ya waiting for?! SUPERPOWER!"
Glacia huffs, "Your Regice is poorly trained..." Sealeo hits it, with Rollout.
"That's not true... He listened to me before... I don't... know... what..."

End of Flashback...

The reason he won't listen to you is because Regice isn't of your strength, A.M.'s voice said, He's of mine. And winning the battle, or using him, in this battle, where your strength isn't yours, is a foul move, on your part. Tsk, tsk Arctic...
What do you mean "isn't of my strength!" I- Arctic interjects, in his thought.
YOU merely caught him, A.M. interjects, He won't listen to you, for such an important battle, especially since I was the one who raised him. Though, don't worry. An exception will be made, soon. Just not now. Don't bother using Regice now. It won't listen to you.
Arctic sighs, heavily, Well, with a change in thought... Arctic lowers Regice's pokéball, saying aloud, "I'll choose this one, instead of what I was going to use..." Arctic calls out Dewgong.
"Huh? I thought you would be using Regice...?" Glacia asks.
"There's... a reason to why I shouldn't use him. It's not worth explaining. Now, then, onto the battle..."
Glacia nods, "Right. Glalie! Light Screen!" Glalie forms a light screen, to fend off special attacks.
"Ugh... I was going to use Hydro Pump... I guess now... I'll go with Signal Beam!"
Dewgong unleashes Signal beam, but Glalie levitates out of harms way.
"Crunch attack," Glacia commanded, firmly.
The Signal beam misses and afterwards, Glalie locks it's jaws onto Dewgong, for a few seconds, causing damage and more. As the attack loosens it's grip, Dewgong curls up, trying to conceal it's injured area. It's teeth really did a number on Dewgong's vitality... and it's special defense.
Ugh! It's too fast! I can't land an attack! Come on, think... I can't resort to using Aurora, with at least one more Pokémon still on the field... I need to either get up close and personal, or corner it. Wait... of course... why didn't I think to use that, before? a broad grin creeps along Arctic's face, as he begins to chuckle at his thoughts.
Glacia sighs, "End this, Glalie. Another Crunch attack."
"Dewgong, bide your time, and wait for it... waaaait foooor iiiiit...." Arctic said, being patient. Glalie goes for it, jaws open, ready for the finishing blow to be dealt with, upon Dewgong. Arctic raises his arm, one finger pointing, "NOW! HORN DRILL!!"
"WHAT?!" Glacia was aghast. Dewgong's small horn begins to spin, as Glalie draws close, though tries to back away from it's charge. It was too late, and Dewgong rears back, then thrusts himself forward, ramming into Glalie, with the OHKO move, as if using both Horn drill and Headbutt. Glalie hit the wall, sliding down, defeated.
"Glalie is unable to battle! Dewgong wins the round!" the official said. Dewgong claps it's fins together, in high spirits, though winces at it's injury.
"Take it easy. There's one more round," Arctic said.
Glacia recalls Glalie, "I'll have to give you some credit, you've pushed me to the extreme. This is where so many have fallen to my might. Walrein!"
Out of Glacia's last Pokéball appears a larger seal-like Pokémon, though much larger than it's pre-evolution, Sealeo; nonetheless, much different. It no longer looks like a sea lion, but more of a walrus. Most of the top of it's head was of white fur, while everything below it's top jaw was a blue color, except it's impressively large tusks.
"Oy... And I thought that Sealeo was bad..." Arctic groans.
"Walrein! Take down!"
"Dewgong, Signal beam!"
Walrein charges recklessly, like a crazed locomotive, as Dewgong continues to wince at his wound. Direct hit, and with low recoil, due to Dewgong's state.
"Dewgong is unable to battle, Walrein wins the round," said the official.
"Ugh..." Arctic groans, as he recalls Dewgong, "That attack was just plain... geez... how are we gonna top that?"
"This is exactly why so many have fallen to me, Arctic. Do you think you can possibly beat me?"
Arctic wasn't losing his cool, that being a pun, since the battle was taking place in a cold room, but he was getting slightly nervous. As he makes a grab for Articuno's Pokéball, he accidentally takes Lapras' Pokéball, and he didn't realize it, until he threw the Pokéball, calling Lapras out.
"Urp! That was a mistake!" Arctic chokes.
"Well, no substitutions, unfortunately."
The Pokéball returns to Arctic's hand, as he sighs, "Well, I'd better make the best of it..." While inside his head, "Best of it?!" I'm screwed!
"Walrein! Body Slam!"
"Lapras! Thunderbolt!"
Lapras unleashes the electric attack, from her horn, which hits directly. But even so, Walrein continued with his body slam, landing directly on Lapras' back shell; Walrein off-sparking some of the electricity off of it, to Lapras. The weight was crushing Lapras, and she couldn't throw Walrein off.
"No problem, Lapras, u-"
"Encore," Glacia interrupts. Walrein claps, for more of Lapras' thunderbolt, which Lapras couldn't refuse. The thunderbolt continuously hurts both opponents, and they were hanging by the skins of their teeth. Arctic had saw the plan, after Glacia's command was called, but could do nothing to stop it. The encore finally dies down, and Glacia saw her finish. Though, Arctic wasn't done, yet.
"Ugh..." Arctic groans, again.
"Well, Arctic, I can say you have put up more of a challenge, this time, though still, it has to end here. Walrein! Take Lapras down!"
Though, as it looks like it would be the finishing blow, Lapras ducks her head, being that it was the only possible target for Walrein to hit, being that Lapras held up, throughout the encore. Walrein misses, and was wide open.
"ALRIGHT, NOW FINISH IT! THUNDERBOLT!"
Walrein was shocked, rocked and then plopped on the ground, defeated, at Glacia's feet. Even the official was blinking, surprised.
"It-it appears that Walrein is unable to battle! The winner of the match is Arctic!" the official said.
Arctic started laughing, though in so much relief, he was starting to tear, "I can't believe we just won..."
Glacia was speechless, for a minute, though then recalls her Walrein, "Great job..." She turns to Arctic, "Arctic, your spirit burned hotter than I could ever muster. A loss is a loss, even though I can't believe it. And so, for that, Arctic, I bequeath to you, the Ice Master Hoenn Elite badge," Glacia holds up a badge that has an "H" centered in it and 8 rhombus shapes, to make it look like a large snow flake, behind it. She places it in Arctic's hand.
"Thank you, Glacia. I can say that battling you was all but easy..."
"Don't relax, just yet. Many more challenges lie for you, ahead. Don't let your guard down, for a minute, against the others."
"I never do," Arctic said, "Well, I hope we'll meet again, Glacia."
Arctic takes his leave, back from where he had came from. As he leaves Glacia to her Elite 4 room, she turns on her heels, looking away, "Now that you've beaten me, Arctic; you will now confirm the truly fearsom side, of the Ice Trainers..."

Back with Arctic and co....

"Okay, so that's two down, two more to go," Arctic said, "Now that I have this one, we're bound to the next location! ... Which is... where again?"
"There is an Ice-type gym in Sinnoh. Most likely, that will be your next gym," Kaiorga explains.
"And how do you know this?"
"Because I do."
"Oh... Okay. So, we're O-"
Hold, A.M. said, abruptly.
"Oh COME ON! Are you going to say I need more training?"
You always need more training, but that's not the point. You won't find any luck with the gym, in Sinnoh.
"Why not?"
By the time you get there, the gym leader will have left, for something important. So, don't waste your time going there. I have something better for you to do.
"AARGH! I'M NOT GOING TO DO YOUR WORTHLESS CHALLENGES, AGAIN, A.M!" Arctic shouts.
It's not worthless, this time. This one will benefit you, greatly, if you can beat it. For now, just show Mark your new Ice Master's badge and then he'll fill you in on the details. Later, A.M.'s voice disappears.
"WAIT!" Arctic shouts. Too late, "Argh..."
"Don't worry, Arctic," Layla said, "He said it would benefit you, right? It must be good!"
"Oh, whenever he says that, I always end up getting hurt, or put into something stupid," Arctic sighs, "Ah well, we have time to kill, I guess... I wonder where Ash is?" Arctic ponders it for a second, "Meh, I guess it can't be helped. Well, we'd best be off, towards the AMLIK region! ONWARDS!" Arctic said, as he and Kaiorga hop on the back of Aurora and then take off, into the sky.
"HEY! WAIT FOR ME!!" Layla shouts, calling out her Pidgeot and giving chase to the two.

Seeing as though no one posted, and I'll do the editing later... I'll post the next movie, now. This is the longest movie, to date, and one of the few supporting ideas that got me inspired to write this story. So, without further ado, the third movie; which, out of all, will be one of my personal favorites.

Movie 3
Organization I.C.E.

Now, then, where'd I leave off? Ah, right, I just finished telling Arctic and co. to head to the AMLIK region and show Mark his new badge. And, after about an hour of flight travel, they've reached the front door of the AMLIK league HQ. Arctic's knocking on the door.
"Yello?" Mark asks, cracking the door, sticking his head out.
"Guess what I got?" Arctic asks, proudly showing Mark his Ice Master Hoenn Elite 4 badge.
"Two badges, huh? Not bad. I see you're getting the hang of it..." Mark said, impressed.
"Ah, it was luck."
"Well, since you have two Ice Master Badges, A.M. wants me to tell you about the thing you need to do, next."
"Does it involve me having to take down some sort of super boss?" Arctic asks.
"No, nothing like that?"
"Or, saving someone of little importance, whatsoever?"
"Oh come on. LeBronda was of SOME importance. She saved our asses, right?"
"Touché. Ah, but back to that thing. If it involves rescuing a hot damsel in distress, I'll think about it," Arctic then makes a goofy grin.
"Ugh..." both Kaiorga and Layla sigh, in disappointment.
"No. It involves Or-" Mark stops, "Uuh, girls? Not to be rude, but... this is a bit private, if you don't mind..." Mark gestures Arctic in, "Sorry about this..." Mark closes the door after him.
"Hey, uuuh, what's with closing them out?" Arctic asks.
"... This is about Organization I.C.E., the central for all ice type trainers," Mark said, in a low voice.
"THE CENTRAL FOR WHAT?!" Arctic shouts, in amazement.
"SHHHSH!" Mark puts a finger to his lips, "Yes, the central of all ice-type Pokémon trainers. Only the ones that are recognized as TRUE Ice trainers, such as me, can go in. But, A.M.'s making an exception, for you, Arctic. He must really like you, if this is occurring."
"Odd, because I seem to recall that he hates my living guts..." Arctic groans.
"Eh. Well, he wants you to have a symbol for your recognition as an Ice trainer. He wants you to get the "Snowstorm's eye" emblem, from the HQ. Also, as an added bonus, you gotta go alone. Though, Kaiorga is your friend, and I can see why Layla isn't, you have to leave her behind, for this one..."
"But... I can just tell her wh-"
"She can't know where you're going, unfortunately..."
"But... how can I break this down for her? I can't just abandon her, in the middle of nowhere!"
Mark nods, "This is something only you, the Ice trainer, must do. Any person, who's not an Ice trainer, is forbidden to enter. This is too important."
"But... what about Ash? Won't he get ahead of me, while I go and do this... this thing?!"
"A.M. said he had it covered, and usually, he does... Though, unlike last time, I think he's finally worked out all the kinks in this one."
"... I don't like this, one bit. I'll finally be seeing other ice trainers, other than me, but... do I REALLY have to leave Kaiorga behind, for this?"
Mark nods again, "I'll write down the location. The trip should take you three days to get there. When you get there, give this to a guy named Vince," Mark gives Arctic a small box, "Don't open it. It's only for Vince."
"... Okay? And those directions?"
"I'm working on it..." Mark writes down some directions and then hands them to Arctic, "Godspeed Arctic."
"... Yeah, thanks. I feel as though I'll need it..." Arctic walks out of the league HQ, though Kaiorga and Layla are nowhere in sight, "Hey, Kaiorga!" Arctic calls out. No response, "I hope she's okay..." Arctic snaps his fingers, and then a tracker of some sort appears in his hand, "Her life signals appear to be okay and captivity's not upon her..." Arctic looks at the road, "Though, why do I get the feeling something's wrong?" Arctic couldn't shake the feeling, but he continues on, hopping on Articuno's back, then leaves, without telling Kaiorga about it.
Though, Kaiorga already has a good idea. And, of course, Layla.
"Organization I.C.E.?" asks Kaiorga, quietly.
"Sounds like a powerful organization. And they want it all hush-hush, too, I see..." Layla said.
"This doesn't look good. I don't know about you, but I'm worried about Arctic... Wait, what do I care what you think?" Kaiorga said.
"I don't care what you think, either. So what?" Layla said, "YOU can stay here. I'm going after Arctic!" Layla prepares to call out her Pidgeot.
"You can't be serious..."
"I AM! I'll prove to you who loves Arctic MORE!" Layla then takes off, following Arctic. Immediately, Arctic turns around, mighty quickly.
"What are you doing?" Arctic asks quickly.
"I... Uuh..."
"Tell ya what. I'll let you follow me, if you tell me, what happens when Layla follows me to a very private location."
"... Pass?"
"Want the answer? Her Pidgeot gets frozen. Ice beam!"
Articuno uses Ice Beam, and freezes Layla's Pidgeot, AND Layla, solid. They land with a thud, as Arctic flies off, north, into the frigid snow driven lands.
"H-h-h-h-h-how c-c-c-c-cold..." Layla stutters, while freezing her butt off, in the block of ice.
"Enough with the ice puns," Kaiorga said, "You can obviously see that just following Arctic won't do you any good. You need a better plan than that."
"N-n-n-n-no k-k-k-k-kid-d-d-d-ding..."

Meanwhile...

Arctic reads the directions.
""Go to the northern region, to the frozen wastelands." Check..." Arctic said, ""Follow the jagged mountains, until you see a ravine. Fly low." Okay. Aurora, fly low."
Aurora flies at a lower altitude, so the incoming blizzard doesn't blind their sight. From there, they press on, facing the blizzard.

Back with Kaiorga and Layla...

Layla finally thaws and they plot a way to make Mark talk, about the Organization I.C.E. Though, they find that it'll be harder to do, than they thought...
"Okay, the game is seven-card stud," Mark said, as they deal out the cards.
"Any wild cards?" Alex asks.
"Kings, Queens and Jacks are wild. You pull a joker, you're automatically o-"
"Heya, Mark," said Layla, from behind him.
Mark sighs, "Whadda ya want? Can't you see we're in the middle of important business, here?"
"I just want to talk to ya. Do you have a while?"
"No, this is too important," Mark draws five cards.
"Pleeeease?"
"... Fine. But it depends on what you want to talk about..."
"... Where's Arctic going?"
"He's going to a place where you, nor Kaiorga, can go."
"But where, exactly?"
"If I said where he was going, I'd have to brainwash ya..."
"... I'll make you tell!"
"Try me..." Layla snaps. Nothing happens. She snaps several more times, "Still not convinced I have you covered?"
"..." Layla walks back, defeated.
"That was your great master plan?!"
"I wouldn't call it a "Master" plan. And still, I'd like to see you do any better!"
"Hey, you're the one Eager McBeaver, to see Arctic. You have to be patient and wait, just like e-"
"So, you're just going to sit around and do nothing?"
"I can always go to a contest or two..." Kaiorga starts to walk away.
"Okay, but when I get Mark to spill the beans, I'm going to have Arctic all to myse-" Kaiorga rushes back to Layla, then points at her.
"Stop trying to get me to help you. I don't like you. You don't like me. I'm NOT someone you're going to manipulate, for you to get your dirty work done, UNDERSTAND?!"
Layla, behind her back, snaps her fingers, and takes control of Kaiorga, "Now, what was that, again?"
"... I am your humble servant. I will do whatever you say..." said Kaiorga, plainly.
"Good. And I tape recorded it, so you CAN'T say you didn't say it..."
Kaiorga shakes off her possession, "HEY! Arctic said not to use your Reality twisting power on me!"
"Which is why you're not going to tell him about this, right?" Layla snaps her fingers again.
The possession takes control again, "Y-yes..." Kaiorga's memory of that was blotted out, "Now, let's go find out where Arctic's going, shall we?"
"... I'm SO going to pay you back, for making me do this..." Kaiorga said, in a low voice.
"You keep thinking that..."

Meanwhile, again...

Arctic can see the ravine.
""Okay. Follow the Ravine to the end. At the end of the ravine, stop."" Arctic nods, "Simple enough. Aurora! Down! Into that Ravine!"
Aurora dives into it, and follows the Ravine to the end.

Back with Layla and Kaiorga...

"I win again! HAHA!" Lenny shouts. Alex slams down her hand.
"NO FAIR! YOU CHEATED!!" she shouts.
"How did I cheat?!"
"It's glaringly obvious, since you've won, seventeen times in a row," I.S. said.
"So? It's luck, not cheating!"
"Oh yeah, well explain how you managed to have a king EACH TIME you play a hand?!"
"So?"
"... We only shuffled the deck, three times. Among those times, you either had an exa-"
"THIS IS A ROBBERY! PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" shouts a masked thug, who burst through the window, with another masked thug, right behind the first one.
"... Oh for the love of crap..." Mark said.
"QUICK! BEAT DOWN THE ROOSKIES!" Alex shouts, getting ready to call out her Pokémon.
"Guys, guys, I already know who these two are..." Mark walks towards both of them, while they back up.
"St-stay back or we'll shoot!" shouts one of the thugs, but Mark quickly snatches both of them up, by their arms, twisting the guns out of their hands, then taking them by their heads, and then keeps them in a headlock, while he brings them over.
"Just remove their masks. You two can quit the charade now, Kaiorga and Layla."
Lenny and I.S. remove the masks, but the two thugs weren't Kaiorga and Layla; just two men, one with blonde hair, and the other with blue hair, wearing black suits and ski masks, so they wouldn't be discovered.
"What the-? These aren't Kaiorga and Layla!"
"Of course not!" shouts the blonde haired guy, "We're just thieves, trying to hold you guys at gunpoint, so we could rob the place!"
"Even if you were, you wouldn't be successful; I'll let you know that. Believe me, we know some martial arts, and we can dodge bullets," Alex said.
"D-damn!"
"However, I was expecting-"
"THIS IS A ROBBERY! PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" shouts Layla, in a ski mask. It's obvious it's her, since her eyes, and some of the strands of her hair give her away. Kaiorga comes along, also in one, but doesn't shout anything.
"... This is absurd... And it looks like someone already beat us to the cue..." Kaiorga said, seeing Mark holding the two thugs, in headlocks. She takes off her ski mask, "As I said, Layla, count me out..." Kaiorga walks away.
"I told you not to give away our identity!" shouts Layla.
"Not like you guys had any. I mean, comparing and contrasting now, the REAL thugs looked way more serious, than you guys were, and you made no attempt to change your voices," I.S. said.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta give these thugs some credit, for actually having to listen to this embarrassing conversation," Mark said, pulling them into the back room to bribe them into not telling anyone about this. They both walk out of the door, counting off some bills.
"Your secret's safe with us!" shouts the blue haired thug.
"Yeah! Thanks, man!" said the blonde.
"... Mark..." Layla said, removing her mask, then charging towards Mark, pinning him to the wall, "TELL ME WHERE ARCTIC WENT, OR I'LL KILL YOU!"
"Layla, you don't have the backbone to kill me. On the other hand, I do, but I have to follow the Writer's orders. And he wants you alive. So just get off of me, before I have to use some judo, on you..." Mark said, getting annoyed.
"TELL ME WHERE ARCTIC IS!"
"Make me..." Layla reality twists for a knife, and then aims it at Mark's head. Mark chuckles, "Go ahead. You're not fooling anyone. As I said, you don't have what it takes. And even if you did, then you'll NEVER get your information," Layla couldn't do it. Mark was too politically correct to do it. She lost both ways, in intimidation and in bluffing. She drops the knife, and then lets go of Mark, "Thank you. Now beat it."
Defeated, yet again, Layla walks out, sadly.
"Now, back to our case..." Mark said, as the group sat down, yet again, to discuss Lenny's cheating.

Back with Layla and Kaiorga...

Kaiorga is at a nearby river, playing with her Kyogre, while Layla sat next to her, disappointed.
"Told ya it wouldn't work," Kaiorga said, "We're just going to have to wait until he gets back. That's all..."
"No..."
""No?!" Mark isn't going to tell us where Arctic's going, so we can just give up on that! And you've already tried asking him, threatening him and intimidating him to tell you where he's going and NONE of that worked! What else can you do?!"
"There has to be a way..."
"... You don't give up easily, do you?"
"I'm not someone like you, who gives up so easily. I'll keep trying, until I get what I want..."
"I knew it..." Kaiorga mutters, "So, you're not going to quit, until you see Arctic again, huh?"
"NEVER! DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Layla was in Kaiorga's face, "ARCTIC WILL BE MINE! I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU, OR ANYONE ELSE, STAND IN MY WAY?! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!"
"Not at all," Kaiorga scoffs, then looks away, "No wonder he doesn't like you..."
"I've done everything in my power to try to get Arctic to like me! I think it's working! I WANT it to work! Arctic doesn't deserve a person like you! So pessimistic and emotionless, THAT'S what you are!" Kaiorga was getting irritated, "How you two became a couple is BEYOND me!"
"Well, how YOU two would be a couple would be BEYOND me!" Kaiorga back-sasses, "You're so manipulative, you think the whole world should be yours! How you got Reality twisting powers is something I don't understand at all! As much as you like to manipulate others, you and Reality twisting powers is a BAD combination!"
"Shut up!"
"You're willing to do ANYTHING to get an already taken man! You want to take someone who actually LOVES someone else, for your own personal gain!"
"SHUT UP!" Layla covers her ears.
"WHY?! BECAUSE IT'S THE TRUTH?!"
"BECAUSE YOU'RE LYING!" Layla shouts back, "How Arctic fell in love with you, I'll never know! He deserves someone who's WAAAAAY prettier, smarter and STRONGER than YOU!"
"Ever heard the expression, "If you really love someone, you'd let them go?" That's what YOU need to do."
"Correction, that's what YOU need to do! Arctic doesn't need someone as weak, unreliable and third world ugly as you, for a girlfriend!"
"Well, he doesn't need someone as pushy, self-centered and manipulative as YOU are, for a girlfriend!"
"SHUT UP!"
"YOU SHUT UP!"
"WHY DON'T YOU BOTH SHUT UP?!" Mark shouts, from behind the bickering girls, "For cripe's sake, you two sound like a bickering old couple, fighting over Arctic!"
Layla pulls up Mark, by his collar, though not even lifting him off the ground, "Listen, you, I've dedicated my LIFE for Arctic. I've done everything I can to suit his tastes, and still, he chooses that BEAST over me! If you ONLY KNEW how much crap I had to go through, to get to where I am now, you'd know how much Arctic is worth, over my whole body! I'd give my life over Arctic's, if I had to! It's not like that **** would, ANYDAY!"
Mark takes hold of Layla's neck. There, he pulls her up, only using one hand, "First of all, don't you EVER do that to me again. Secondly, I've known Kaiorga with Arctic, since they first met. In a way, I knew that those two being together was going to happen, eventually, since they started out as really close friends. They deserve each other, and both of them WOULD give their lives over the other. Finally, I've had just about enough of your attitude. You've been trying to get your way, for far too long, and I'm starting to get a bit fed up with this. If you don't get over this little attitude of yours, I'll deal with you, personally, do you get me?!"
"Y-y-yes, sir..." Layla stutters.
"Serves you right," Kaiorga said, smiling.
"Good," Mark throws her aside, "Kaiorga, come. I have something to tell you."
"Huh?" Kaiorga looks towards Mark, after enjoying Layla's scolding.
"Come," Mark said, gesturing Kaiorga to follow.
Layla recovers, noticing that both of them left, "W-what just..."

Meanwhile, with Arctic...

Arctic continues to read the note.
""At the end of the ravine, stop. Rest there, for the night. There should be a checkpoint in the warmest place in the area, and should be your point of resting. Do not keep going, until the next day,"" Arctic read, aloud, "Aurora, stop here. It's the end of the ravine..." Aurora descends, into the ravine. It was cold, but not as cold as it seemed like, out there. Mark's note was right, in a way. Basically, it was the warmest area, in the ravine. It had flint, which could help him start a fire, and there was a flag of some sort, there, with a Snow flake on it, and a large "igloo" was made, out of rocks. Looks like where he had picked, obviously was a spot he was supposed to stop at.
There were, also, other things there, which made it obvious it was a checkpoint. For one, there happened to be a place to build a fire, with a hole that stored wood, for making fires. Mark had packed wood in his pack, for such the thing. Secondly, the terrain was too flat, for a natural formation to have occurred. Someone had to have built the whole thing, to make it as comforting as possible. Also, there happened to be a disposable port-o-potty, which automatically disposed of the wastes that others had. In other words, it got rid of any wastes, so there wasn't any need to change the stations. Though, the final, and most distinctive difference, was a rod, of some sort. And near it, a flag with a thunderbolt sign showed that it needed electricity to function something that lead into the igloo.
"Hmm..." Arctic said, seeing the rod, "Electricity, eh?" Arctic calls out Lapras, "Thunderbolt that rod!"
Lapras uses thunderbolt, which struck the rod. The electricity was powered into something into the igloo and something was beeping in the igloo. Arctic goes to see what it is, and sees that it's a laptop, of some sort. Curious, he opens the laptop, revealing a screen that says "Press the red button to function." Arctic, seeing all of the keys, finds the red button and presses it. A hooded guy appears on the laptop.
"Welcome to the Organization I-C-E personal information computer. If you are an ice trainer, register your name and three of any Ice Pokémon you have on you now, to proceed," Arctic put in his name first, then decided to use Articuno, Dewgong and Regice, as his three Pokémon. Though, before he could question where to register them, he notices the three Pokéball slots, where his Pokéballs should be placed, on the laptop. He places down the three pokémon then hits enter, "Scanning..." the data is registered in the system. A check appears on the screen, "Clear. Your register number is 06599. Enjoy your stay, at this checkpoint."
Arctic heads outside, feeling somewhat more comforting that he was, before. He calls out the rest of his Pokémon, who also feel the odd sensation. Lapras stops using thunderbolt, though didn't know there wasn't a need for the extended time, also feeling oddly, more relaxed. A small pool fills up, near the igloo, where, before there, was an empty crater, and the hole where the fire could be lit up was lit with a blazing, but cozy, fire. Lapras then crawls over to the pool and takes refuge in there, the water being perfect for her. Eevee curls up near the fire, then sleeps there. Dewgong dives into the pool, Lapras was in, and sleeps near the water's edge. Regice sits down, near the rock igloo, and becomes immobile there. Venusaur falls on it's belly, also near the fire, sleeping there. In fact, his body slam woke up Eevee, and he crawls up Venusaur and sleeps there. Venusaur didn't seem to mind, though.
As for Aurora, she turns into a human, to talk to Arctic.
"Are you excited, about finally getting to the central of all Ice Pokémon?" Arctic asks, "Something tells me that you won't be alone, there."
"If you're talking about love, I still have Mark's Articuno, in my heart..." Aurora said, dreamily, thinking about Mark's Articuno, "Ice is just so cool looking..."
"I didn't mean it like that," Arctic said, sheepishly, "I was talking about making friends with the other Articuno. Basically, your ancestors are apart of the legend we're all in. Me, you, Ketchum and Pika, are all in."
"... Pika..." Aurora's hand starts to mist, as she clenches her fist, "He's gonna pay for what he did... I swear that..."
"... Sorry, about that..."
"It's not a problem, Arctic..." Aurora calms down, her hand reduces the power, "Maybe I'm just overreacting... Just a bit..."
"No, believe me, Ash fartknocker makes me feel the same way. Every time I look at him, I just get a sudden urge to rip out his freakin' spinal cord. Heh, it's funny how we both hate each of our opposing sides. We really ARE alike, in a way."
"Haha..." Aurora laughs, "We are, kinda..."
"Come on. We have a long day, tomorrow. The stretch will probably be longer, so you'll need all the rest you can get..."
Aurora nods, "Alright..." she yawns too.
"Get some sleep. See you in the morning..." Arctic takes out some blankets and lays them out, making a bed. Using another sheet, he uses it to tuck Aurora in. There, she falls asleep, soon after. After seeing everyone getting some rest, Arctic takes out one more blanket and covers himself with it. He felt tomorrow might be a long day.

Meanwhile, with Kaiorga and Mark...

Mark leads Kaiorga into an elevator, into the building, where he pulls out a key, once getting there, and sticks it into a hole in the panel, once the door opens to the basement floor. He turns it and removes it, the door remaining open.
"What's this all about?" Kaiorga asks.
"I don't usually do this, but... I'm going to allow you to go to Arctic's location, which is the Organization I.C.E., somewhere deep in the frozen wastelands."
"What?!"
"Shush!" Mark gestures Kaiorga to continue to follow him.
"Sorry..."
They continue deeper, into the basement. There, Mark leads Kaiorga to a locker, of some sort.
"Kaiorga, I know you lack the number of Ice Pokémon, to gain access into the building, as well as the badges, but if you can catch up to Arctic, maybe you can get in, with him."
"What? You expect me to catch up with Arctic? But he's probably almost there, by now!"
"It'll take him three days, to get there. You can get to him, tonight, before he moves on to the next checkpoint," Mark enters the locker combination, which unlocks the locker. In it, was a large number of Pokéballs containing, most likely, Ice type Pokémon in them, "I'll hold one of your Pokémon, so you can get three ice types and, at least, register into their system. I'll also give you directions, to get there, so you won't get lost. If you have a flying Pokémon, use it. It can probably withstand the cold."
"I have a Staraptor, in my box. I'll use that."
"So, which Pokémon are you going to hand over, for this?"
"I'll hand over Steelix. It would probably be very bad to have that in my party, with all the ice types, and stuff..." Kaiorga hands over the Pokéball, with her Steelix in it.
"I'll take good care of it, while you're away. In these Pokéballs are a Sneasel, a Glalie, and a Jynx. Here's an important tip, though, you'll need an electric move, to work the check points, so use this, on any of your other Pokémon," Mark gives Kaiorga a disk of some sort, "That's Shockwave. None of the three Pokémon I gave you has the ability to use it, so you'll have to use it on one of your own Pokémon."
"I'll use it on my Chimecho. I get the feeling you're telling me this won't be an easy journey, won't it?" Kaiorga logs into the nearby computer and withdraws her Staraptor, in exchange for her Swampert.
"That, it won't. For your sake, I hope you can catch up with Arctic, for followers, who aren't authorized to go there, will be punished, severely. And the last thing we need is Layla holding you up..."
"Hey! What if Layla is-"
"No, she can't listen in on us. Lenny is keeping guard of the elevator, so she can't even get close enough, to listen in on us; anything within this building is reality twisting resistant, so heavy Reality twisting powers can't be used; the walls are completely soundproof, so, even if she used a directional microphone, she wouldn't be able to hear us; and I locked the elevator, so even if she could use her Reality twisting powers, she wouldn't be able to get down here. I've fixed every possible route of listening in. Which reminds me..." Mark hands Kaiorga a charm of some sort, which is shaped like a star, of some sort, "Keep that on you, so Layla's Reality twisting can't touch you. That's including to get information out of you, about where you're going, or to force you to take her to the secret location and anything else she can think up. Basically, it makes you immune to reality twisting, hers and Arctic's. Though, why would he want to use them on you, I don't know. Still, keep it on you, just in case..."
"Okay, I will. And Mark?"
"Huh?"
"... Thanks... for helping me..."
"Hey, I wouldn't want a good relationship torn apart, by a manipulative girl, with the same powers as Arctic. Especially since that she doesn't deserve him. I'm on your side, with this fight, so don't ever think you're fighting alone. Alex and I have your back, on this, alright?"
"... Th-thanks, you guys..."
"Kaiorga, I'm letting you out. Just hope you can sneak past Layla. Hope you can get to Arctic, before he gets to the site in time," Mark said, as he unlocks the elevator, and they go back up to the first floor. From behind the elevator door, they can hear Layla screaming.
"GET OFF OF ME! I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON!" she shouts, behind the door. The elevator door opens and Lenny is holding Layla back, who was obviously trying to listen in.
"Kaiorga, we got things over here. You need to go! Now! And hurry!"
"Right!" Kaiorga heads for the door, quickly. Seeing Kaiorga get away, angered Layla, very much, and she ends up kicking Lenny, in a very delicate spot, to break free.
"Haaaw! My balls!" Lenny shouts, letting go of Layla and falling to the floor, crouched up, now speaking in a high pitch voice, "My god-forsaken balls..." Layla makes a mad dash, to follow Kaiorga.
"Alex! STOP HER!" Mark shouts, as Layla makes the dash.
"Huh?!" Alex turns around, seeing Layla running towards the door. She calls out her Spiritomb, then points to Layla, "Stop her! Shadow Ball!"
Spiritomb aims and fires a dark lump. The Shadow ball stops Layla, knocking her backwards, though not making direct contact, but she recovers, on her knee and tries to keep going. By then, Mark had already called out his Weavile, which was a pink weasel-like Pokémon, with a huge, yellow, arc-shaped crown, snow white claws and yellow tail feathers, with a yellow bead in the middle of it's forehead. While usually, it was black, with red replacing the yellow parts, Mark's Weavile was a shiny one. Being very agile, it speeds past Layla and blocks her off, growling, and telling her to back off.
"I WON'T BE STOPPED! MAWILE! BULLET PUNCH!" Layla calls out her Mawile, which charges towards Weavile, with a bullet-like punch.
"Heh. Dodge, then use nasty plot," Mark commands. Weavile strafe-dodges the attack, and then, while in the air, thinks about a nasty plot, to hit Mawile with, "Now, Icy wind!" Weavile launches a blistering cold wind that hits Mawile. While damage-wise, it didn't do much, but speed-wise, Mawile was feeling it. It staggers, trying to recover from the cold wind.
"We can't go out like this! Not when Arctic is so close to being mine! Mawile! Fire Blast!"
"Put it down with Beat up."
The rest of Mark's Pokémon, appear, in a shadow-like transparent color, as they gang up on Mawile. Mawile, taking the hits, falls over.
"Mawile! This... this can't be..." Layla said, astonished.
"Hurry, Kaiorga..." Mark mutters, "Had enough? Or you want more?"
"I'll TAKE YOU ALL ON!" Layla shouts, calling out every Pokémon she has, to fight Mark and Alex.
"... Hey, where's I.S.?" Mark asks.

Meanwhile, with I.S...

"Aaah, nothing like a fresh cupa joe, to warm ya up to your very soul..." I.S. said, as he drinks some coffee. He takes another swig of it, enjoying his time.

Back with the situation...

"Crap... Oh well. Guess it's up to us..." Mark said, "Ice! Crystal! Go!"
"Spiritomb, come back! Giratina! Mischief! Go!"
Mark calls out his shiny Articuno, and a tan furred Dewgong. Alex calls out her unstoppable Giratina, which is a colossal sized Pokémon, 17 ft. in height, at least, with scales of yellow, red, black and gray. It has a long neck, with scales of red and gray going down it, and to it's body, to where it leads to his legs; which also have a scale of black, on each of it's six legs; each leg with yellow nails. Along the back, a long tail with more red and gray scales; and back up to it's face, it's oddly shaped crown a golden yellow. At the lower area of it's head, lies the mouth, the face shaping out the mouth. The beast also has wings, which are large and black, with red tips from some of the edges. Along with Giratina, she also calls out her Misdreavus.
"I WILL NOT BE STOPPED!" Layla shouts, then points to the opposing Pokémon, "ATTACK!"

With Kaiorga...

A few seconds earlier; after Mark had shouted "Alex! STOP HER!" Kaiorga realized that Layla REALLY wanted to follow her, and also that she had to get away, as quickly as possible. Bursting out the door, she pulls out the piece of paper, which Mark had given her, and calls out her Staraptor.
Staraptor is a large, gray bird Pokémon, with a bang, that is slicked forward, like some sort of hairdo, and a large white dot in the middle; along with that, the large bird had an interesting pattern of gray, white and black, on it's chest. Kaiorga, realizing she doesn't have a lot of time, then hops on his back, ready to take off.
"Staraptor! Hurry! To the frozen wastelands!" Kaiorga shouts, pointing north. Staraptor, obeying his master, takes wing and flies off, towards the frozen wastelands. It was already dark, so she knew she had to fly carefully. Aside from that, she wasn't used to blizzards, but she'd do anything, to keep Layla off her trail, even if it meant risking her life through this blizzard.

Part 2

The battle between Mark and Alex's Pokémon against Layla's ended up in disaster, for Layla. She was so blinded by fury; she couldn't beat the legendary trainers, and was quickly flattened, rolled out and tossed aside.
"I... I lost..." Layla said, submissively.
"Now, are you going to come quietly, or do we have to get our hands dirty?" Mark asks.
"NEVER!!" Layla shouts, and then tries to run for the door. Alex's Misdreavus blocks her path, and then uses a move called "Hypnosis." Layla appears to be in a trance, as Misdreavus' eyes glow a light blue, and sends Layla into the depths of her mind.
"Now what do we do with her?" Alex asks.
"Easy. Lenny, will you do the honors?" Mark asks.
"With pleasure..." Lenny replies, recovered from the nice kick in his delicate place, a smirk smeared over his face. He takes Layla, who falls over, still in her trance, and drags her to a chair, where he ties Layla up, with rope, and gags her with tape over her mouth. Then, after securing her to her seat, Lenny takes his revenge, by punching her in the gut, in return, she wakes up, from her trance, now in pain.
"OOOOW!" Layla shouts, through her gag.
"... Okay, I think you overdid that last part..." Mark said.

Meanwhile, in the blizzard...

Kaiorga was having some trouble, especially since the blizzard was a pain to get through, Staraptor was slowed, due to the cold, and it was dark. If it kept up like this, Staraptor was going to fall. Kaiorga encouraged it to keep going, which kept it up, slightly, but she knew even Staraptor had his limits. They finally reach the ravine, where things got slightly easier. Staraptor dives down, into the ravine, and stops. It was too cold, to continue going, for Staraptor, so she praises him, for getting this far, returns him to his Pokéball and continues the journey on foot. Though, the ravine was long, and exhausting. She was tired and sleepy, and nearly fell over, in exhaustion, a few times. At this rate, there was no way she'd keep up, at this rate. Though, she knew if she stopped, she'd be good as dead, from the cold temperatures. It was a little warmer, but that didn't mean it was bearable.
Finally, fatigue gave in, and only five feet away, from the checkpoint. And at that time, it was morning, at which Arctic was now fully rested, as well as his Pokémon. Arctic yawns, shaking off his morning sleepiness, though only to get a real shock, seeing Kaiorga.
"K-Kaiorga!" Arctic shouts, rushing to her aid. She was cold to the touch. Arctic's Pokémon brought Kaiorga into the igloo, and Arctic wrapped her up in some blanket.
Kaiorga snaps awake, feeling warmth, yet again, "Wah!" Kaiorga shouts spooked.
"Oh, phew! You scared me s***less, Kaiorga... What were you doing out here?!"
"What do you think?! Chasing after you!"
"Is Layla following you?"
"No, of course not, I..." Kaiorga sneezes, her voice also sounding a bit nasally, "Mark wanted me to find you. He wants me to come with you. He believes in us, Arctic... He doesn't want our relationship ruined by that Layla..."
"Kaiorga, braving the storm wasn't very smart, though. What if I didn't see you there? Who knows what could've happened," Arctic holds Kaiorga, by the shoulders, "I... I could've lost you, there, Kaiorga..." Arctic embraces Kaiorga, "I don't want to lose you... I love you too damn much..."
"I... I love you too, Arctic... But... I was just sick of Layla calling me things that weren't true..."
"Oh, you're sick, alright. You got a cold, there," Arctic said, taking Kaiorga's temperature, "And your temperature's over 100. You're really burning up..."
Kaiorga sighs, "Forget about that, for now. Register my Pokémon in the system..."
"What? But you don't have any Ice types,"
"Mark loaned me some ice types. It's those three Pokéballs with the Blizzard badge symbols on them..."
Arctic takes the Pokéballs off of Kaiorga, and then resets the registry. He puts in Kaiorga's information and places the three Pokéballs, on the scanner. When he finishes registering Kaiorga's information and getting her registration number, he turns around, noticing that Kaiorga was fast asleep. Arctic knew he couldn't leave her. Some other Ice trainer could come around, and plus, she had a cold. Though, he can't wait, until she felt better. He wanted to get there, now. He knew what he had to do. But for now, he reads his next set of directions.
""Your next task will involve little use of your flying types. At around 12 o'clock, every morning, geysers will shoot water and steam, on the hour, every day. Use one of those to make a sled. When you get out of the ravine, slide down the hill and enjoy the ride. From there, hike, or fly, up the mountain, whichever you desire, for next task." Okay," Arctic said, reading aloud. He checks his watch, which was still quite early. It was around 9:00 in the morning. He felt a bit relieved, seeing that Kaiorga would get a bit of rest, before they took off, again. Arctic starts breakfast, feeding all of his Pokémon some food, as well as making something for himself. After breakfast, EVERYONE asked for seconds, but Arctic refused, "Sorry, need the rest for the trip..." Arctic packs up everything, and then checks the time again. It was still decently early, and the geyser wasn't going to erupt, yet. Since Kaiorga was still resting, and he still had time, he sets his watch to 11:55 and then practices, with his Pokémon, on his battle techniques. With nothing new to teach, he had his Pokémon practice their old techniques.

Meanwhile...

Layla awakens, though no one is guarding her. Either that or they were still asleep, or preparing to get up. From what she could hear, I.S. was singing in the shower, which sounded like some sort of French song. Layla groans, though snaps her fingers. Nothing happens. Something was blocking her powers from working. With little time to spare, Layla tilts forward, onto her feet, and then heads to the door. She hopes to at least make it out the front door, so she could use her powers and free herself. She turns around, sits, so she could unlock the door and turn the knob, and slowly, but surely, got out.
Outside, she rests. Getting open that door wasn't easy. She snaps her fingers, and releases herself from her bindings. There, she had to think.
"How am I going to catch them? It's not like I know where they're going..." Layla said. Pondering, she thinks she's running out of options, until an idea pops in her head, "Wait... I just got an idea..." She snaps her fingers, bringing forth a new invention of time thermo goggles, in which she could see what traveled, using the heat of the traveler, as a trail, to find who she's looking for. The device even works in cold regions. Layla puts on the goggles, calls out her Pidgeot and jumps on it's back, "HANG ON, ARCTIC! YOU WILL BE MINE!" And with that note, Layla took off.

With the Legendary trainers...

By this point, after the shout, Mark, Alex and Lenny realized that Layla got away, and rushes outside; just to see her take off.
"WHA?! How did she-" Lenny asks.
"She's still infatuated with Arctic, using it as a poor excuse for love. This is unbelievable..." Mark said, "My question is, how she so sure she'll find the two of them?"
"Are you saying she's charging in, blindly?"
"I don't think so..." Mark turns to Alex, "We're going to have to follow her, anyway, in case she does."
""We?!"" Alex asks.
"You don't have to go. I can go, but I insist that you do, Alex. After all, your Ghost Pokémon can help us spot her, if she falls out."
"Okay..." Alex said, "We'd better hurry and get our stuff together, if we hope to catch her..."
"Right..." Mark calls out his Shiny Articuno, while Alex goes to get their stuff ready.
"And what do we do, while you're out there, looking for Layla?" Lenny asks.
"You guys are to hold the fort down. Not like we're expecting challengers, anyways..."
"Yeah, right..." Lenny said. He fixes up a sign that says "Closed due to emergency situation," hammers in a nail, put some string on the sign, hung it up and gave a thumb's up, in success.
"..." Mark turns to the door, where Alex was still getting ready, "Alex! We need to make a move! Now!"
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Alex heads out of the door, with a backpack on her back, and heavier clothes on. Then, she jumps onto Mark's Articuno's back and the couple takes off.

Back with Arctic...

Arctic's watch beeps, for the time being 11:55. With that, he recalls all of his Pokémon, but three, being Dewgong, Eevee and Articuno. He wakes up Kaiorga, telling her that they were leaving this spot, and they reach the geyser.
"What's over here?" Kaiorga asks, nose still nasally.
"This is the geyser we need to use, to get down the bottom of this hill. It's probably going to be long, and cold, so bundle up, good. Don't need you getting hypothermia," Arctic said. He checks his watch, which reads "11:59" and counting down seconds, on three, two, one. With the time being 12:00, a large rumble is being heard, and a huge amount of water is excelled from the geyser, "Wow..." Arctic said, "Well, Ice beam, Dewgong!"
From the bottom up, Dewgong freezes the hot water, causing the geyser to turn from liquid to solid. Soon, it was an entire tower of ice. The small tower falls over, shattering into smaller pieces. The biggest piece fell near Arctic's group which they used to make the sled down.
"Wait..." Kaiorga said, looking down at the hill, where they intend to sled down, "Do we REALLY have to sled down this thing?"
"Hey, it looks like it beats flying, any day," Arctic chuckles. The final blow was delivered to the block of ice, and that forms the finishing touches on the sled. It was slightly bigger than the version they made, when they were facing Danny, back in the Orange Islands. But it was also to fit Kaiorga in it, since they had her, along for the ride, "As I said, prepare for a ride..." Kaiorga swallows hard. The Pokémon line up, like they did in the other race, and prepare to take off. Arctic was behind, ready to push, "Let's see what we have ahead of us, shall we? A harsh blizzard, more than 2 miles of sledding and the Organization I'm eager to meet... GERONIMO!!" Arctic presses forward, giving the sled momentum, and the group goes flying down the hill, "WHOO-HOOOOOO!!!"
Articuno's wings were used for speed, Dewgong was used to steer, by pressing against the sides, and Eevee was hanging around the side, mouth open, with tongue out, trying to catch some air.
The slide down was peril-less, to say the least. Arctic's starting speed was excellent, which got them over any large cracks in their way, Dewgong steered clear out of any hazards, which weren't many, and Articuno tilts her wings, to adjust the speed of the sled. It was then they noticed that the hill was getting steeper.
"Arctic? Is it me, or are we picking up more speed?" Kaiorga asks.
"We-" Before Arctic could finish, he noticed something important. A sign that says "Large jump ahead. Use all due speed, from this point, to clear." Arctic smirks, "Aurora! Drop down your wings!"
"What?! ARCTIC?!"
"We're gonna jump!"
"WHAT?!"
"Everyone! Hold on tight, to make sure you don't fall out! Dewgong, straighten up!"
The sled straightened up to line up with the incoming fences. It was then the jump was clear, even through the storm.
"Oh no, oh no, oh no..."
"HOLD ON, GUYS!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
Kaiorga screams, as they hit the ramp and fly off of it. They could see that they obviously cleared the jump and are going beyond the point. From there, the sled turned on it's own, sideways, and the bottom of the sled hits the ground, hard. So hard, the sculpted legs of the sled shattered, on impact. But, all and all, the group made it, unscathed. Though Kaiorga was still screaming.
"Kaiorga! WE MADE IT!"
"We... WHAT?!" Kaiorga asks.
"We cleared the jump! We're already on the other side!"
Kaiorga sighs, heavily, "Don't make me do that again..." Arctic chuckles.
"I won't. I'll let Aurora take you up to the summit, so you can rest there. As for me, I'm hikin' it," Articuno hops to Kaiorga's side, where Kaiorga jumps onto her back and they go for the summit. Arctic looks to Eevee and Dewgong, "Well, that was fun, wasn't it guys?" The other Pokémon laugh, with Arctic, "Well, we still have a lot of ground to cover. Come on, back into your Pokéballs. Especially you, Eevee. Don't need you getting a cold too," Arctic recalls his Pokémon and starts his long hike up.

Meanwhile, with Layla...

Layla continues to follow the trail, eventually leading to the ravine. She couldn't tell, from Pidgeot, that it was tiring, from the cold, but she finally did, when it collapsed, before they got to the ravine, "HEY! GET UP! We need to catch Arctic!" Layla shouts. It didn't budge, "Pidgeot! Come on!" she removes her goggles, and then sees the exhaustion in it, "Oh, right..." Layla recalls her Pidgeot, and then looks down the ravine, "Sheesh, that's pretty deep..." She was about to call out her Mr. Mime, to help her down, when a Misdreavus, with a strange yellow necklace on, under it's red beaded necklace, appears in front of her. They stare at each other, for a while, and then it flies away, "Huh? Since when did Misdreavus inhabit this region?" she then realizes who that Misdreavus was, "It's Alex's! I'd better stop it!" Layla snaps her fingers, seeing the Misdreavus getting away, in hopes to stop it; but nothing happens, "Don't tell me... they can stop Reality twisting!" Layla starts to panic. If she was caught again, she knows she won't be so lucky to escape, next time. She quickly calls out Mr. Mime, whom was called out, at the bottom of the ravine, "Catch me with Psychic!" Layla shouts, as she jumps. Mr. Mime catches Layla, with it's Psychic power, as she commanded, and is placed down. She needed a place to hide, and fast. She takes cover, behind some rocks, blocking the view away from where she entered. Mr. Mime follows.
After a minute or two of waiting, Misdreavus appears again, pointing down into the ravine. Mark's Articuno was also seen, and flies down. Mark and Alex get off of the Articuno, and Misdreavus flies near Alex.
"You sure this is where you saw her?" Alex asks. Misdreavus nods.
"If she did, no doubt she realized that it was yours, Alex, and she ran like a crazy chicken, without a head," Mark said.
"Well, nothing we can do, I guess... Better get going. If we're lucky, we should catch up with her, around the checkpoint. That is, if she's trying to hide in that."
"Unless she has three Ice type Pokémon, she can't stay there. Come on, Alex. We need to make a move, before she gets too far," Mark said.
Behind where she hid, she sighs, finally relieved that she wasn't discovered. Though, she needed to get to the checkpoint they were talking about. With nothing, but her Pokémon, and a will to get to Arctic, she hurries through the ravine, still following yesterday's trail of Arctic's travels, she follows the ravine trail, hoping she'll catch up to him.

Meanwhile...

Mark and Alex reach the checkpoint, first, but Layla wasn't too far behind. They reach the igloo, not really taken by fatigue, and get ready to register. Mark had used his Lapras' thunderbolt, like Arctic did with his, to power the electric rod. Mark registers his three Pokémon, his shiny Weavile, Shiny Dewgong and Shiny Articuno, in the exact order, as he always does. Oddly, though, the screen on the laptop blacks out, showing the text "Special clearance used" and the hooded guy on the screen before, re-appears, though, appearing to be more real, than what was for the regular access. In other words, they were speaking to a real person, from the organization, rather than to a recording.
"Mark, is that you?" the hooded man asks.
"Yes, Orin, it's me," Mark replies.
"What's going on, man? I thought you had a league to run?"
"Business is slow, Orin. Business is slow. Alex is with me, on this one, so I'm allowing special clearance, for her to use her ghost types."
"Are they wearing the equipment?"
"As always. Alex. You know the drill..."
Alex registers her Misdreavus, and two of her new legendaries. Rotom and Giratina. Rotom was an odd red Pokémon, with two lightning bolts for hands. It was veiled in a mystic electrical energy.
The guy checks the Pokémon out, "Hmm... the coding is different this time..."
"She has two new ghost types. Rotom and Giratina. So, this is a different registration."
"Alright. Alex, insert your card, and you're set to go," Alex puts in an odd card, which appears to have the Blizzard badge symbol on it. She inserts it into the side of the laptop and the guy looks down, on another part of the screen, "Clear. Enjoy your stay, guys."

Meanwhile...

Layla, who reaches the checkpoint, seconds before Mark and Alex were cleared, gets scared and, immediately, hits the dirt. From what she saw, Mark's Articuno was standing guard. Though, a second after she hit the dirt, the Articuno was recalled back into it's Pokéball, and Mark and Alex step out of the rock igloo and sit down, near the newly ablaze fire. Layla sneaks past them, as they talk.
"Man, it was pretty cold out, today..." Mark said, "I doubt that Pidgeot of Layla's could've gotten that far, though. That blizzard was more fierce than yesterday's."
"How can you tell?"
"I was on Mt. Frost, watching Arctic go. I noticed that it wasn't as bad as it was, yesterday, so when Arctic left, today, the weather should've been a little colder, than when Layla and her Pidgeot left. Hmm..."
"Do you think Layla got past us? She could've used Ninetales, to keep warm and continue going..."
"Nah. Only a fool would keep going, under these conditions. The blizzard is even worse, than before. She'd probably freeze to death, before she even got to the next checkpoint. If her Pidgeot crashed, like your Misdreavus said it did, then she's as good as done. She'd be too cold to even snap her fingers. She has to have SOME common sense not to go."
And once Layla got out of the ravine, which she didn't appear to have heard Mark's words, she proved to be that fool, to brave the storm.
"Shoot... I should've brought a warm jacket..." Layla snaps her fingers, and then a pink coat appears, with fur on the inside, all to keep her warm, "Phew!" Layla takes the coat, and zips herself up. She was warmer already.
Layla looks down the hill, where the snow had already covered up the tracks of Arctic's sled, though a faint trail remained, due to the blizzard trying to cover it up, "I'd better find a way down this hill, quick..." Layla snaps, but slower, than before. She forms a sled, capable of getting her down the hill. It was also equipped with a built-in warmer, which would keep her warm, throughout the entire ride. It was a sledding machine and far from the meaning of the words "practical use." Layla jumps into it, and then closes the door, "FIRE AWAY!" the "rocket sled" takes off, down the hill, with a blaze of flame, on the back. The snow was too deep, melted right over the flames, at an alarming rate, and was soon put out, "What the?" Layla asks.
As an added bonus, to the put out flame, the power source of the rocket sled was also put out. The rocket sled had no means of control, now. The steering and piloting were all used by electrical energy, and without the electricity, it managed to evade the jumps of death, but when it came to obstacles, the sled was an runaway locomotive. The sled was torn apart, by all of the obstacles, being rocks, trees, willowed branches and, of course, the snow itself. And with no control, the sled was speeding out of control, as it goes down the steepest part of the hill. Due to the lack of electricity, Layla was too panicked to see the sign, of the incoming jump.
The rocket sled was now going backwards. She looks to wonder why she was, and notices that the sled was about to jump. She panics, and tries to get out, but the speed was far too dangerous, to jump out of. With doomed thoughts, using her Reality twisting never even came to Layla's mind. Though she cleared the jump, she cleared it BEYOND the line, and took a crash onto the hill.

Meanwhile...

Arctic thought he heard something, lower on the hill, but he knew he couldn't go back down. One, he was hiking it, and even he had his limits to the cold, and two, Kaiorga was waiting. He had no time to waste. He never used any of his Pokémon, to hike up the hill, only himself and his own two feet. He tried to preserve as much heat as he could, hiking up this hill. Arctic was almost there when he notices something flying by, whipping more cold air at him, unintentionally. He couldn't see it, since the cold air hit him, hard. He stood his ground, but by the time he got his vision back, the figure that whipped up the cold air was gone.
At this point, Arctic was now shivering. He hadn't shivered since last winter's blizzard and here he was again, cold. Though, he was almost there, so it didn't matter. Kaiorga was already asleep, due to the previous all-nighter, and had everything already set, so all he had to do was register.
"Input your registration code," the screen said. Arctic types in his code, "Code accepted. Enjoy your stay."
Arctic steps out, to Aurora, watching Kaiorga, "She's tired, isn't she?"
"Very. I had to wake her up, just for her to input her registry, before she froze to death..." Aurora said. Arctic nods.
"... Well, we're resting, yet again. We probably have a little bit more to go, before we finally get there..." Arctic pouts, "Organization I.C.E... I wonder what it's like..."
"... Arctic..."
"Aurora, you look worried..." Arctic said, noticing Aurora.
"Huh? Oh, it's nothing... Really, it's nothing! Just thinking, is all..."
"What are you thinking about?" Arctic was intrigued.
"Well... I wonder how the other Articuno would react, if I told them about me and my ancestors waging war against the Pikachu side... I wonder if they'd see me as too powerful, or make fun of me..." Aurora nods.
"Aurora, you'll get along, just fine. As far as I'm concerned, you got nothing to worry about. If you're ever dealing with trouble, from those other Articuno, though, come find me. You know I don't want you feeling out of place or uneasy, when we're there, okay?"
Aurora nods, "Okay, Arctic."
"We'd better get some shut eye. Tomorrow is the day we reach the HQ of all Ice trainers..." Arctic chuckles, "I'm getting goose bumps, just thinking about it..."
Aurora walks over to her sheets and lays down in them. She covers herself up. Arctic pulls out sheets of his own and falls asleep quickly.

Meanwhile, the next morning...

Mark yawns to the next morning, "What time is it?"
"I'd say about 8:00, or so," Alex said, waking up herself.
"Hmm... It looks like we're too early to wait for the geyser eruption. We're going to have to make a sled, by force..." Mark calls out his shiny Articuno, "Ice Beam, using a vertical climb."
Marks Articuno makes a large tower of ice, almost similar to the geyser, though, even though the top was closed, the inside of the sled was hollow, "These don't make very good sleds, but we're a bit short on time. We'll have to make do..."
Mark calls out his Weavile, who shapes up the sled, and his Dewgong finished it off. The sled didn't have a bottom, but another Ice beam fixed that. There, they rush up the hill, throw down the sled, hop on, recall all their Pokémon, and slide down the hill.

Meanwhile...

Layla recovers from her contraption, her coat destroyed, from the crash. She was lucky it was just her coat. Everywhere else, she had just gotten minor, non-lethal injuries. She was nearly half frozen and was too cold to snap her fingers. She tries to get up, but she feels way too tired to move. Far away, she thinks she hears a sled, rushing down the hill, and upward, voices of preparation. Though, half frozen, Layla pulls herself together and hike up the hill. Determination was all that was on her mind. Half the way, she had, finally, called out her Ninetales, and gotten a little warm, along the way. She didn't want to stop, to heat up, but Ninetales' warm body aura was enough to do that, as it is. With much willpower, she hikes up the side of the mountain.

Back with Arctic and his group...

"Arctic... Arctic...," said Aurora's voice.
"Arctic, wake up...," Kaiorga's voice said, next.
Arctic groans, "I don't wanna... Wake me up in another five minutes..."
"Arctic, we're all ready to go. Come on, get up..." Kaiorga said.
"Tch, fine..." Arctic rolls around, for another several minutes, before finally tossing himself up, rubbing his eyes, shaking the sleepiness away. He prepares, also calling back Aurora, in her Articuno form, and they were on their way, yet again. Arctic takes out the directions, again, ""After the second checkpoint, and go down the hill, there should be a large hill, which is the closest to your position. Congratulations, you're almost there. The last thing you need to do is get up the summit. Believe me, it's not going to be easy, but you can think of something, right? One more thing, I don't know how you intend on getting up the hill, unless you want to do it, the ol' fashioned way, by walking around it. Though, I know that's not your style. Meh, best of luck, -Mark." Well, that's helpful. We're almost there."
"How are we going to get to the summit? It's not like we can teleport!" Kaiorga asks.
"... Maybe not teleport, but with reality twisting powers, anything's possible!" Arctic said, preparing to snap.
"... Wait a sec. Why didn't you use them before?"
"What? And spoil the good time I had, getting here?" Arctic laughs, "Ah well, I lasted this long. I oughta put this one, in the records book."
Arctic snaps his fingers and brings up the boards he used to travel, though this time; he gave them an incline touch. By that, he gave the boards the ability to maneuver through the snow, with incline, so they could get up the hill, faster. They boarded through the snow, with little to no trouble; the blizzard finally clearing, when they get to the summit. They reach the top of the hill, and what a sight to behold.
"Woooow...." Arctic said. He was awed seeing the view; the Organization I.C.E. building, a building, made entirely out of ice, filled with some of the strongest ice trainers in all the land. Arctic looks around, "Well, let's not stand around here, all day, let's go in!" a pair of large double doors, also made out of ice, though, surprisingly, not cold to the touch were in their way. Arctic tries to pull open the doors, but they were locked, "Aw man! Locked?!"
A computer screen, beside the door, starts to speak. The hooded guy, whom was on the screen, from the checkpoint computers, appears at the same screen.
"Please enter your registration code or codes, if there's more than one person here," said the guy, on the screen.
"Ah, Arctic, we need to put in our numbers," Kaiorga said. She then puts in her number, "73409."
"Clear. Are there more members that are with you?" asks the guy on the computer; it was a recording, they could tell, though another screen pops up, with the same entry screen, as Kaiorga's.
Arctic puts in his number, "06599," Arctic puts in the registration.
"Clear. Are there more members that are with you?" the guy repeats. Arctic hits the option, "No," under the entry screen, and then backs away, "Then, may I welcome you to the base of Organization I.C.E.!"
The doors open, automatically, and a brilliant light causes both Arctic and Kaiorga to shield their eyes, trying to see it. There, a figure approaches them.

Meanwhile, an hour or so eariler...

Mark and Alex land near Layla's crash site.
"Looks like Layla was here," Mark said, annoyed, "And what a way to be resourceful. See, this is why we use these Ice sleds, because big ass sleds, like this, tend to leave big ass messes..." Mark nods, as they get off the sled, "I'm going to have to report this, when we get to the next checkpoint."
"So, what about this mess Layla made?" Alex asks, "Surely, you can't just leave it there..."
"When I report it, the guys'll take care of it. They won't take an intruder lightly, if they find out that an intruder is in the area.. I just hope WE find Layla, before they do. Their punishment will be far harsher, than what we would give her. She'll be lucky if they just erase her memory..."
"Boy, do I pity Layla, right now, if she doesn't appear, in the next few hours; before we get to this checkpoint."

Meanwhile, several minutes later...

Layla reaches the checkpoint, exhausted. She could see the rod, which powers up the laptop in the igloo, and lights up with excitement. She snaps her finger, creating an artificial thunderbolt, which strikes the rod. The power surges to the igloo, and the beeping is heard. Layla expected power, but all she heard was the beeping.
"What the..." Layla, curious, goes in to see what the commotion is all about. The guy was asking about a registration code, "What registration code?" She sees an option, which says "Forgot registration code. She presses that. Three ball shaped containers open up, below the screen, "Please re-submit your three Ice type Pokémon, to retrieve your registration code," Layla grumbles. She only had her Lapras, which was her only Ice type Pokémon; she puts that in, as well as her Misdreavus and Mr. Mime, "Scanning..." suddenly, the screen starts flashing red, "INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! AUTOMATIC LOCKDOWN AND CAPTURE PROGRAM INITIATED!"
Layla, panicking, grabs her Pokémon from the container and tries to run out. The checkpoint now had a large metal rod, that was sticking out of the fireplace, quickly, and then releases a metal screen, which was sealing off the area. Layla, just barely, managed to slide under the screen, before it was sealed off. A glowing light was going off, in the metal dome, which appeared through some of the holes in the screen, and a huge flash, plus sound, was seen and heard from the dome, as a thick misty exhaust seeped through the holes in the metal container. The Metal dome retracts into its rod, revealing that everything in the checkpoint was frozen shut. Layla had, just barely, escaped that fate, heart racing from that experience. She could now see that Arctic wasn't kidding about this being a private place. From this view, these guys were serious about intruders. The checkpoint sinks into the ground, though the rod remains the same. The rod then starts to emit a red tractor sensor, which vertically scanned the area, for heat sources. Layla tries to makes herself scarce, though it's too late. The sensor had tracked her heat source, and the intruder was still, as scanned, in the area.

Somewhere in the corridors of Organization I.C.E....

"Heat source of the intruder is still visible," said one of the I.C.E. trackers, whom are running executables, on their computers, "Move our guys to field surveillance. The intruder must not escape."
"Yes, ma'am," said another tracker, who pulls a lever and then hitting a few buttons, on his screen, alerting the field agents, "Code yellow; we have an intruder somewhere around checkpoint 2. Carry out an investigation, immediately."
Somewhere lower of the hill, where the Organization I.C.E. base was located, several men, on snow mobiles, are shot out, flying, towards the checkpoint two. Apart from that, four cylinders of glass appear from parts, around the checkpoint, opening up to four field agents, in heavy but flexible attire, and thick black shades. Once out, all at once, they fix their shades and start searching for the intruder, using mini sensor rays, like the one used for the checkpoint scanner, searching for signs of the intruder.

Meanwhile, back with Layla...

She had to hide. She knew she probably was hurrying on their way, to the place where she ran from. Though, what she noticed was an obvious sign on how she could be found; her footprints she left behind. She snaps her fingers, making her footsteps light as air, as of a ninja's, and prevented her from making footprints. Though, there was still visibility she had to take care of, and she could hear the sleds approaching. She renders herself invisible, and sneaks past the sled troopers, who stop, near the checkpoint.
"Any luck on our intruder?" asks one of the guys on the sled.
"We got a confirmation. The footsteps," said one of the foot agents. The sled agents follow the footsteps, only to notice that they stop at a certain time, "What the..."
"What is it?"
"The intruder's footprints are gone!"
"Not possible..."
"Yes, especially since we would've seen it, if the intruder had taken off on a flying type."
"Think he could've teleported?"
"Hmm..." the foot agents look at their devices, as they scan, "Doesn't appear to be, unless the Pokémon was simply jumped on, before it made footprints."
"It could be a levitating Pokémon..."
"Hold on..." the foot agents switch frequencies on their devices, and then rescan the area.
"Whoa, I'm picking up a strange reading. It's powerful, nonetheless," said one of the other foot agents, "It's not... Pokémon energy, but an even greater power..."
"Hey! Guys!" shouts a voice from behind. It's Mark.
"Free-Oh, wait, false alarm..." said one of the sled agents, whom was about to take out his weapons, "Mark, how's it going?"
"Been better. What's going on?"
"An intruder's been tracked, but not yet identified. We haven't made visual on the intruder, yet..."
"Really? Let me check the reading..."
The foot agent that found the reading, hands over his device to Mark, "I think you can decipher what this means, Mark. This power level is off the charts."
"Yeah, I know what it means. But we have a problem," Mark flashes his I.D. card, "Take us back to the base. I'll help you guys find your intruder."
Mark and Alex hop on the back of the sleds, while those trackers take off, while the foot trackers head back to their cylinder transporters, they close and head back down. The Checkpoint's area was restored to its previous, empty state, ready for another member's use.

Part 3

Arctic and Kaiorga start to see what the being was, which the light was fading. The one who was behind the light happened to be none other than...
"Lorelei?!" Arctic asks, shocked to see his heroine, yet again.
"Hey, we gotta stop meeting like this," Lorelei said, proud to see Arctic, "I see you've finally made it here, huh?"
"Yes! And I'm hoping that I'll be respected for the toughness that I am. I hope..."
"With only two badges, I hope you DO get that respect..."
A hooded guy, like the one on the screen, appears, behind Lorelei, "Your escort back to the Orange Islands is ready, Lorelei," he said.
"Well, I'd love to stay, but I have to get back now. It's nice seeing you again, Arctic," Lorelei waves, as her and her escort heads down the hill.
"Man, I hope I get to see her, for my final badge, one day..." Arctic said.
"She's your idol, and you're getting better, as you go. Of course, you'll get the chance to fight her. The real question is, can you beat her?"
"Can I... beat her?" Arctic asks, though never really thought about the question. Though, he didn't worry too much about it, "A-anyways, let's go in!" Arctic steps in.
Inside of the building, it was just as much Ice on the inside, as it was on the out. It looked like some sort of cathedral, with all the ice, though reflecting against some of the sunlight, through the roof windows. For some odd reason, it wasn't reflecting through the ice walls, and gave the walls a more solid, sturdy appearance, to the point where it didn't even look like ice at all. As they traveled, more of the I.C.E. members, both men and women were walking along the room, some of them were hooded, and others weren't.
Apart from all the ice, the decorations were breathtaking. Some of them were of ancient ice Pokémon, back in the days, and others were of the great ice trainers, both current and back in history. Apart from those, there were also powerful paintings of Ice Pokémon, with much action and willpower put into their poses. It was a breathtaking sight to behold; all of it.
"Oh. My. God..." Arctic said, completely awed by the sights. Who knew that so much of this was up here? Kaiorga was also awed. Both of them were awed, so much, they didn't hear the guy, next to them, who finally resorted to using a bullhorn to catch their attention.
"'SCUSE MEEEE!!!" shouts the guy, blowing both of them away, "I believe that I'll be your tour guy, for the," the guy clears his throat, "tour of the Organization I.C.E. base. Follow me."
"Ooow..." Arctic moans.
After recovering, the guy takes the couple through a tour of the base, "For centuries, this magnificent place, as well as all of the other organizations, have stood tall, and protected, for many years. Our founder, Pilaskia Frost, founded the Organization, along with Frieda Lipton, Danice Picicle and Gloria Snorite. These founders have held together the Organization, alive, for 37 years, and yet their spirits still holds the place together, today," the guy then leads the couple to a more recently renovated room, "Here's where all of the Ice masters, from the centuries to the current time, have been portrayed and placed, for all of eternity."
There were many faces, including the leaders of the gyms. And underneath each portrait, was a name given to them. Arctic smirks, "Just wait. I'm gonna hit this list, one day. That's because I'm GOING to become an Ice master."
"Heh, that hasn't happened recently..." said the guy.
"What do you mean?" asks Kaiorga.
"I mean, for a while now, Ice trainers have become even harder to come by, and, not to mention that those that do, find the challenge too hard for them to muster. Hey, they couldn't even get past Glacia."
Arctic sighs, "I see why. I beat Glacia recently, though it took me two tries..."
"Heh, you must have some skills, then. Glacia hasn't been beaten, for a while. I thought we'd have to wait another decade or two for someone to step up farther than Glacia. Though, if you thought she was hard, just wait until you fight Ca-" the guy notices Arctic's attention was all on one of the gym leaders, in Snowpoint city. She looked like a serious young woman, or at least how she was portrayed, with brown hair, almost black, though in two braids on both back sides of her head, and a bundle of hair, merged into one strand, with a round, light blue clip on both sides of her hair, and red eyes, for the facial features. She had on a dress shirt, with a bow attached, right below the middle of the collar of her shirt, though the sleeves rolled back to her elbows, a blue jacket, with the sleeves wrapped around her waist, with a small skirt, and blue and white socks, with brown shoes. She was the current leader for Snowpoint city, Candice.
"... She's so... cute..." Arctic said, in a daze.
"Arctic..." Kaiorga groans, then pushing him along, "Let's go, before you forget about who you're already in love with..." The tour was continued along, but Arctic took one more peek, before Kaiorga forces him to move on, "COME ON!"
"Whoa!" Arctic shouts, getting tugged.
The rest of the tour went on. The history didn't last much longer, though they did get to see the rest of the base, apart from the protection agency, which Arctic and Kaiorga really didn't need to see, even if they wanted to. They felt it wasn't any of their business, unless it's their business. Continuing, they did get to see what events and activities went on, in the base, as well as a large flock of Articuno, beyond the hill, and Regice, under the ground. In fact, Arctic tripped over one, and nearly "broke his ass" on the Regice, buried under. The Regice had ended up pulling itself out of the ground and moving on, ignoring Arctic.
Ah, but there was more. There was a library, where all kinds of knowledge about ice types were there, more on the history, as well as deep secrets about Organization I.C.E. that the public has no idea about. Though, intrigued, they pass by it, to worry about, later.
There also happened to be a daycare, for kids and baby Pokémon, ice types of course, who have little experience and just learning the ropes to becoming one with their trainers. And just when Arctic and Kaiorga were expecting more, the tour guide had one thing to say.
"Tour's over. Enjoy your stay," the guy said.
"What? Just like that?" asks Kaiorga.
"Hey, if you want to know anything more, feel free to ask."
"Yeah, I've got a question," Arctic said, "Do you know a guy named Vince?"
The hooded man takes off his hood, revealing his white hair, and emerald green eyes, "That would be me."
"Good, I have a package for you, from Mark..." Arctic takes the package from his backpack, and hands it to Vince.
"Ah, thanks man. These are the custom Pokéballs I asked him to make! Now, if you'll excuse me..." Vince hurries off, to either use or switch his Pokémon into the balls.
"Well, I'll leave you on your own, Arctic," Kaiorga said, "I'm checking more of this place out..." Kaiorga leaves Arctic by himself, to see more of the base, herself. Arctic sighs. Taking all of this in, he forgot all about his original intention of coming and goes to search the base around, some more.
Arctic had plans of meeting that girl, from the gallery of great ice trainers, when they fight, in Snowpoint gym, but it looks as though his thoughts of meeting would occur, sooner than expected. Arctic was heading to the library, to look up on the history of Aurora's ancestors, when he turns a corner, sharply, and bumps into a girl, much shorter than him. Though, he was ready to apologize, a number of times, if necessary, his words got stuck, somewhere in between his throat, most likely causing traffic jam in his esophagus. Right there and then, the same girl he had saw on the picture, back in the gallery, was standing right in front of him, in the flesh, and happens to be reading a good book. From what she was in the picture, and how she appeared, she seemed more kind and almost nothing as though what was portrayed of her.
"Hello," she said, friendly, "My name's Candice," she holds out her hand, pleased to meet Arctic. She can obviously see that Arctic's choking off of his own words, right now.
***************
A.M.: *snickering to himself* I am SUCH a smartass, to my characters... Arctic seems to fall for any pretty girl, minus Layla, he lays eyes on. That whole "bikini girl" ordeal, back in the second movie can back that up for me. *notices the audience* Ah, right. Where was I, during that whole scene, back there? You know, with Arctic, and all of them, trying to get to this location; and Layla gets in a real pinch? I was just sitting back, biding my time. You know, "chillin'." But, I'm about to make another one of my grand appearances, yet again, folks, minus my booming voice in Arctic's head or whatever. And boy, do I have a surprise for you all... *smirks* Just give me a second to come down and spoil Arctic's day. *gets up from the computer seat*
***************
Arctic, nervously, shakes Candice's hand, though still struggling to say something. Nervous gibberish starts to come out of Arctic's mouth, as he still struggles to say something to this young woman. Candice smiles, "Take your time, with your words. Or better yet, start with a name."
"N-name's Abrah-NO! No! Arctic! No, YES! Arctic! The name's Arctic!" Arctic bursts out.
"Arctic, huh?" Candice pouts, "I've heard the name before..." Once again, Arctic struggles to say something, "Ah, yes! You beat Glacia, for your Ice Master Hoenn Elite badge!"
"Y-YES!" Arctic sighs, his words finally coming out right.
"You must have some skill. I heard that Glacia hasn't been beaten in a while; at least not for her Ice Master's badge, anyway!"
"Yes! And my next goal is the Ice Master Icicle badge!" Arctic said.
"So, do you really think you have the focus to try to beat me, then?" Candice sees that Arctic has potential, "I'll look forward to that day we battle, 'kay?"
Arctic nods, "So, are you going to be here, a while?"
"A few days, actually. I came here to study about some of the things that go on, around here. I got here, just yesterday, by a special escort."
Arctic was shocked, "Wait... so that was you, yesterday?"
"Yesterday?"
"That day, you were on that Articuno, that passed by me. Something fast flew by, gave me the chills."
"Aha-ha-ha... I knew I saw someone down there..." Candice laughs, "That was you?"
"... Sadly yes... I don’t' get special escorts, like you leaders do..."
"Well, when you get to be an Ice Master, you can get special escorts, like that. Or, so I've heard," Candice shrugs.
"Well, that's what I'll do. I'll become an Ice Master! I won't quit until I win, you got that?"
"Okay, don't say it; prove it, when we fight."
Arctic nods. Though, Arctic's good feeling's gone, when he hears slow clapping, from farther down the hall. The figure clapping approaches, appearing to be A.M..
"Quite the show, Arctic, quite the show..." A.M. said.
"Oh great, the jackass to ruin my day..." Arctic said, grimly, "What do you want?"
"What do you think? I'm here, once again, pissing you the hell off."
"Well, can't you see I'm busy, talking to a new friend of mine, whom I like?" Candice blushes.
"All I see is a guy, trying to act cool, to a Gym leader. So, seeing as how I'm here to ruin your day, how about a battle? You and me, mano-a-mano."
"... You think I'd refuse?"
"Of course not; you're too predictable," A.M. knows he pissed Arctic off, with that, "And how about we put up some stakes. If you win, you get your Snowstorm's eye symbol, AND your Ice Master Icicle badge, without even having to FACE those trainers. If I win, you get a lecture from me."
"What? That's it?"
"What else could I want? I can have anything I want, here," A.M. shrugs, "So, how bout it?"
"HA! Of course! I get the chance to win both my badge and my symbol, in one swoop!"
"Huh? Why would you win those, if you win?" Candice asks.
"Because, this guy, A.M. we call him, he's REALLY tough, with his Ice type Pokémon. First time we fought, I won, but from what I've heard, he let me win. Now, we're fighting for real, so it's high time I really kicked his scrawny butt, from here to Timbuktu with this battle! Hey, if you don't believe me, just watch and see."
"Huh?" asks a hooded member of I.C.E., who overheard and noticed the oncoming battle, "Hey! Everyone! A battle between A.M. and the new kid is about to start!" he shouts.

A few minutes earlier, than what happened...

Mark and Alex are brought into the trackers' room, to investigate the mysterious power source that was detected.
"Which reminds me; a sled, from the intruder, was left near the jump-off. You might want to send a clean-up crew to get that," Mark said, as they enter the room.
"Will do, Mark. Now, about this power source... What could it be?" Mark examines the power, and immediately recognizes it.
"Of course; why didn't I recognize it before? It's a massive power; of a semi-god, to turn reality as it is present. It's dubbed as "Reality twisting,"" Mark said.
"Reality twisting?" asks one of the trackers.
"Yes, we've dubbed it that name. Due to the high energy content, it can rip through time, space, existence and power, itself, to become whatever that the user wishes it to be. The mind of those that have this power is like a teleportation defect, of sorts, since it takes something abstract, or of plenty, and brings it to the user. Though, unless the powers are clean, there's a heavy restriction to these powers."
"Clean?"
"It's too much to explain, at one time."
"So, what of the intruder? How do we find this guy-"
"Ah, girl, and believe me, we don't have to worry about her escaping."
"Why's that?" asks another tracker.
"She'll come straight to us... Though, the problem is, she'll go near another guy, who's power is identical to hers."
"Who's that?"
"The new kid, Arctic; and this kid, he's special."
"So, how do we track a girl, who has such a tremendous power? Or better yet, how do you stop her?"
"Just leave that part to us," Mark thumbs to himself, "We'll take care of your problem... And one more thing; the power may be great, but it has a fault, in which the user has to snap a finger, to make it work. So, to stop it, you'd have to keep her from sna-"
"Sir... I'm tracking the energy, on this location, in a REAL heavy frequency, here..." said one of the trackers.
Mark looks to the screen, and then straightens his face, "I believe you just found her..."
"WH-where?! I don't see anything!"
"Switch it to heat sensor. I don't think she's made herself resistant to cold, yet, so we should have a transparent visual," Alex suggests.
Taking the advice, the trackers switch their views to heat sensor vision, "Well, whadda ya know? She's right under our noses, being invisible!"
"Though, what I want to know, is that how do these people get these powers?"
"Hey, it's not how they get it; it's how they're used that counts. And Arctic, the new kid, really knows how to use his powers. Him, you don't have to worry about. It's that girl, you do though. As much as it kills me, for her to take the punishment of the house, but..." Mark walks towards the radio, pressing the button, "This is Mark. Special request, on your intruder problem."
"What is it, sir?" asks the tracker on the radio.
"Check the area, around 30 meters away from the summit; thought, put on your thermal goggles. I think, then, you'll find your intruder..."
"Aye-aye, sir..."
"Ah, and one more thing; be sure to grab her by the hands."
"..." Alex wasn't feeling so great about this. Mark could see it in her eyes.
"Alex, I'm not feeling all that great about this, either, but it's the rules of the house. And, to boot, she tripped the alarm. Even if we could find her, there's no way we could convince her to go back. It's too late..."
"..." Alex sighs, nodding, "Still, this is a heavy toll, Layla's going to take. I sure hope this doesn't affect your conscience, later..."
Mark nods, "Believe me, if I lead this place, I'd be a teeny bit more merciful, but I don't. Jade does, and she's a very cautious woman. But, I don't blame her, really. After all, this is a sacred place..."

Meanwhile...

Layla still continues to travel, up the hill, following Arctic's trail. It was then that more of those agents appeared, right in front of her. Layla thought she could walk right past them, until they moved, to block her path.
"Halt, you. You're coming with us..." said one of the agents.
"W-what?!" Layla said, "B-but, how did you know I was here?!"
"A little birdie tipped us off. Now, do not resist. We will hunt you down, if you try to run, and your trail is marked. In order to protect our area, we must capture you..."
"N-NO! I HAVE TO SEE ARCTIC!" Layla said, getting grabbed by the hands, so she couldn't snap her fingers, "LET ME GO! I PROMISE NOT TO TELL!!"
"And we could believe you, but rules are rules."
Layla screams and screams, regaining visibility, but anyone who cared couldn't hear her. She, soon, got so annoying, though, they had to slap a piece of tape over her mouth. They took her to the depths of their base, to do whatever was necessary, to extract information out of her.

Back with the others...

"Capture of the intruder has been successful. We're bringing her in, for further questioning," said one of the trackers.
"Wow, Mark, I have no idea how you know all of this stuff!" said one of the other trackers.
"Eh, what can I say?" Mark shrugs, "Though, go easy on her, though. She doesn't know any better."
"HEY! GUYS! THE NEW KID AND A.M. ARE ABOUT TO BATTLE! EVERYONE HURRY DOWN TO THE STADIUM!" shouts one of the nearby members of I.C.E., running down the hallway, outside of the room, telling everyone about the battle.
"What?" Mark asks.
"THE NEW KID AND A.M. ARE ABOUT TO BATTLE! EVERYONE HURRY DOWN TO THE STADIUM!" the guy repeats, before running out of sight. His voice was still being heard, down the hall, and the guys were heading to the stadium, to see this battle. Mark and Alex even joined the groups.

At the stadium...

Arctic and A.M. stand on their sides, staring each other down, as the crowd prepares to watch. Who they were really waiting for was the leader of the Organization to appear, in the balcony, which was on the side of the stadium, above the bleachers, where everyone was gathering around. Candice, Kaiorga, Vince, Mark and Alex were the ones closest to the scene, at the bleachers on the ground level. As for the arena, itself, it had the ice based scenery, as did almost everything else in the base. The field was an icy blue, but the lines and shapes on the field were in white.
After everyone gathers around, about a few seconds later, the leader of the Organization I.C.E. appears. The leader, being female, was in some sort of white toga, with the strap being across her right shoulder, with the base insignia, clipping the piece together. Though, she appears to have a black shirt on, underneath. As for her facial features, she had a nice smooth face, with icy blue eyes, with two strands of her light green hair that blocks a bit of her face. Her hair, in general, was long, a bit on the spiky side, but put into a long ponytail, held with a small, yellow band. This woman was also holding a white staff, with an ice crystal at the top.
"The Organization leader, Jade, has arrived to the battle. The battle may now commence!" said one of the organization members, serving as the referee.
"Wha- Is that required, every time a match starts?" Arctic asks.
"No, but still, it's good to have her around, because it would be bad luck to start a major battle, like this, without her, right?"
"Good point. Well, now that that's clear, let's clear something else up; your ass is GRASS!" Arctic calls out his Dewgong.
"Huh. That's what you think. Froslass, you're up," A.M. calls out his Froslass, again.
"This is gonna be just like our first battle. Signal Beam!"
"Shadow Ball."
Froslass forms a dark lump, to fend off the Signal beam. It works, completely nullifying the attack, though still growing in size, "What th-"
"FIRE!"
Froslass launches the dark lump at Dewgong, which deals massive damage.
"Ouch... Well, then... Hydro Pump!"
"Ominous wind," A sinister wind is fired from Froslass, which collides with Hydro Pump and pushes through the attack. Arctic was getting anxious, "What? Getting cold feet, already?"
"It's not over, yet! Dewgong! Get out of the way, now!" Dewgong presses himself out of harms way, rolls over and prepares for another attack.
"You know what you're doing, right? Ice Beam," Froslass fires an icy beam, from the mouth, which hits the ground, at first, though, freezes, forming large icicles, sticking out from the ground, all surrounding Dewgong. It wasn't meant to hit him.
"HA! Dewgong should shatter right through these! Horn attack!"
"It's going to be a bit too late, don'tcha think? Ominous wind, again!"
Froslass fires the ghost attack, not at Dewgong, but, instead, through the icicles, from where it was fired, to Dewgong. The attack travels through the icicles, reflecting into different directions, though, just out of range of the audience. Arctic saw it, right after the command was made, that A.M. wasn't planning on attacking Dewgong directly but indirectly.
"Dewgong! Fight back! Signal Beam!"
Dewgong, in an attempt to save himself from being finished, fires the peculiar ray, which also travels through the ice. Though, Froslass' Ominous wind was much stronger, and negates the attack. The attack, which turns into attacks, after traveling through the ice, reflects into different directions, through the ice, in little beams, and strikes Dewgong, within the ice cage. In the process, the ice cage was destroyed, though Dewgong was down.
"Dewgong is unable to battle! The first match goes to A.M.!" judges the ref. A.M. smirks.
"S***..." Arctic said, recalling his Dewgong. He then calls out Eevee, "Ha-HA! Let's see your stupid technique even DAMAGE Eevee!"
"... This isn't even worth it," A.M. recalls his Froslass.
"What? Throwing in the towel, already?"
A.M. scoffs, "Of course not! What kinda idiot you take me for?" A.M. takes out another Pokéball and tosses it out. He then calls out his Glaceon, just like last time.
"So, it's rematch time, eh? Eevee! Quick attack!"
"When will you learn? Ice Shard!" Eevee and Glaceon clash. To A.M.'s surprise, Eevee manages to balance out the attack, "Well, someone's been training."
"You bet your ass I have. Now, Double-Edge.
"No-go. Glaceon, put it down with Trump Card."
Glaceon summons vertically flipping cards, from it’s sides, which fling forward, smashing into Eevee. Though, damage wasn't too super.
"Wow, what a counter. Eevee! Bite!"
"We've been through this routine, before. Ice Fang!"
"Just what I wanted; Eevee, switch to Quick attack, THEN Double Edge!"
Eevee, switches, abruptly, to quick attack, to dodge the hit, and then pounds Glaceon back, with a reckless charge. Glaceon slid back, to A.M.'s side, shaking off the damage, "That wasn't too pleasant. Time for Plan B. Glaceon! Hail!"
Glaceon mews, as artificial hail starts to fall, on the field. It falls harder and harder, pelting Eevee with it, while Glaceon fades into the storm using it’s ability, Snow Cloak.
"What th-"
"Now, Blizzard!"
Eevee now had to muscle through the hail AND the Blizzard. Arctic didn't even know where the Blizzard was coming from, and Eevee was suffering from both. Eevee found it hard to move, fur starting to freeze up. Though, it was pressing through the storm, trying to get to the source of the blizzard.
"Eevee! What are you doing?!"
"Yes, Eevee, why are you going TO the source, if you're getting injured, by the passing second?" A.M. asks.
"This doesn't look good. What the hell is Eevee thinking?!" Kaiorga asks.
"I think I know..." Candice said, seeing what Eevee is trying to accomplish.
Eevee, suddenly, charges through and bites down at the eye of the storm, AKA Glaceon. The Blizzard stops, but Hail was still falling.
"The hailstorm should've died down, by now! What's going on?!"
"My Glaceon has an Icy rock, which prolongs the effects of Hail. It can go on, for a while, before it finally stops. Now, then, Glaceon, finish off Eevee, with Ice Fang!"
"Bite again!"
Eevee, despite being nearly frozen, clamps onto Glaceon, with his fangs. The hailstorm was pelting him, but he didn't care. He was REALLY not going to be stopped, by this Glaceon, again. Glaceon staggers, flinching from the hit. Eevee rolls off, but recovers on his feet.
"Eevee, use one more Quick attack!"
"Ice Shard!"
Eevee, instead of trying to collide with Glaceon, uses the speed to avoid him and then attack. It worked. Glaceon was knocked back, done in.
"HA! Eevee beat your Glaceon!"
"Glaceon is unable to battle. Eevee wins the round," said the ref.
"Ouch. Eevee won. What an unexpected outrage..." A.M. said, plainly, recalling Glaceon, "Ya done good, Glaceon. Ya done good," A.M. switches over to his next Pokémon, a large, abominable snow-like beast, with green hands, large, round body, and green bulbs, in two rows, down the back, "Now, Abomasnow should keep you company."
"Ooh, I have an Abomasnow!" Candice said, "Those are good. Especially, since, it has one of the most powerful grass attacks not any grass type can learn, without a tutor."
"And what's that?" asks Kaiorga, sounding slightly intrigued.
"Wood Hammer. And A.M.'s Abomasnow knows it," Mark said.
"Good job, Eevee, now come back!" Arctic recalls his exhausted Eevee, "Now, then, Leafgreen should enter this battle." Arctic calls out his Venusaur. A.M. nods.
"Ice and grass can be together, but when facing one, you really should pay attention, you idiot. Abomasnow! Ice Beam!"
"Leafgreen! Clear up the Hailstorm, with Sunny day, then Solar Beam!"
Abomasnow took his time, to charge up an ice beam, while Venusaur lets loose with his Sunny day/Solar Beam Combo. The two attacks are fired, though, Solar Beam wins. As for damage, not much was done to it, though.
"That was it? I thought you could do better than that. Ice Shard!"
"Grass Knot!"
Abomasnow avoids the growth of grass, while, smashing into Venusaur, with an icy charge. Venusaur tries to shake it off.
"Grass Whistle."
"What?!" Abomasnow plays a lovely melody, with the tip of his finger, which lulls Venusaur to sleep, "Oh no..."
"Oh yeah. Abomasnow! Wood Hammer!"
Abomasnow raises his arms, which glows green, clenches them together, and then slams it on Venusaur. It wakes him up, mighty quickly. Abomasnow pulls it's arms back, flinching from pain.
"Only problem with Wood hammer is the recoil," Candice adds in.
"Even with recoil, it's not a problem, for A.M. We have to remember, he's the Ice Type Expert, here," Mark said.
"Leafgreen! Snap to your senses and use Grass Knot again!"
Venusaur blinks twice, and then sees Abomasnow. With that, he summons some grass, to ensnare Abomasnow and makes him fall over, doing damage.
"Abomasnow, Avalanche."
"Oooooh, a nasty counter, indeed..." Candice said, face with shock.
"What? What's Avalanche?" Kaiorga asks.
Abomasnow recovers and then creates an artificial, but powerful, avalanche is dropped on Venusaur, burying him alive, under snow.
"THAT, my friend, is Avalanche. It's a useful move that powers up, after the Pokémon’s taken a bit of damage."
"Venusaur is unable to battle! Abomasnow wins the round," said the ref.
Arctic grimaces, groaning as he does, "Leafgreen, come back..."
"Losing your confidence, already?" A.M. said.
"You kiddin' me? I got THIS! Regice!" Arctic calls out A.M.'s old Regice. It doesn't look angry at A.M., at all, though he knew who he'd probably be up against.
"Fine. Abomasnow, come back," A.M. recalls his Abomasnow, and then prepares to call out his next Pokémon, "Regice, you're up..."
A.M.'s Regice was similar to his Articuno; the darker tone.
"Let me guess; Regice's shadow?"
"No, just call him Deep throat. Now, then, Zap Cannon!"
"Regice! Use Super power!"
The regular Regice builds up power, to attack his counterpart, but the darker one, instead, aims his arms at Regice and fires a bolt of electricity, which strikes him down. The blast was catastrophic, "What the?! It has a 50% hit!"
"So? It doesn't always mean it'll miss on the first try! Deep throat! Su... Nah, it's not worth it. Ice Beam!"
The regular Regice was stunned, due to paralysis, but the Ice Beam barely did anything to it.
"You forgot? Regice is a TANK when it comes to Special Defense! Now, Super Power, again!"
"Su... Know what? Lock-on, then Zap Cannon again," A.M. said, continuing to change his mind.
Regice tries to move, but an electrical surge prevents it from moving. As it recovers, however, another large bolt of electricity, strikes it, knocking it back to the ground. It was stunned, but still in, trying to move.
"I don't get it," Alex said, "He keeps on changing his mind, to use Super Power."
"Because, since Arctic's constantly using it; he knows that once BOTH of them use Super power, the impact could have enough power to topple the place. He's saving our hides, by not using the move, seeing as how he's facing his former god-mod pal," Mark said.
"Ah, I see. So that's why he hasn't utilized that attack, yet..." Kaiorga said.
"Okay, NOW wing it! Super power!"
The ice uproots, from the velocity of the attack. Every man and woman, in that stadium, sensed the attack, though didn't duck for cover or anything, except block the small debris with their hands. Dark Regice jumps up and slams it's fist into it's counterpart; the velocity was as fierce as everyone had anticipated it to be. The heavy punch was delivered, creating a HUGE hole in the stadium, and in it, Regice was mashed into the ground, defeated.
"D-Wow..." said the ref, "R-Regice is unable to battle! Dark Regice wins this round!"
"... What... the... f***..."
"Yes, my new monster, and friend, Deep throat. If you would like to know where he got the name, you’ll find out later. Just continue the battle, for now."
"..." Arctic recalls his Regice. He was about to call out his next Pokémon, until A.M.'s Regice backs away, and the cleaning crew fixes the huge hole in the stadium, by using Ice Beams and a bunch of Piloswine earthquakes, to even out the field. They leave quickly. A.M. recalls his Dark Regice.
"What? You scared that my next Pokémon will whup your Regice?"
"Who said that?" A.M. then calls out his Weavile. Arctic calls out his Lapras.
"I think she can handle Weavile, now. Lapras! Start it off with a Thunderbolt!"
"Going for the typical straight forward attack, huh? You never learn. Weavile, dodge it and use Fury cutter!"
"That won't work this time!"
It did, though. Weavile dodges the attacks and starts slashing at Lapras.
"Ouch. If that keeps up, Lapras is screwed!" Kaiorga said.
"Lapras... SURF!"
An artificial wave of water appears, from behind Lapras, as it prepares to crash down on Weavile. Weavile stops, though, in mid air.
"This might leave a mark," A.M. said, as the wave crashes down on Weavile, doing damage. Weavile recovers, though, growling.
"Now! Thunderbolt!"
"Weavile! Ice Beam!"
A.M. knew the deal, behind this. He had already pulled the stunt with Froslass, psychologically. Apart from that, Weavile was wet, with the whole field covered with water, apart from where Lapras was placed. Weavile would have nowhere to run, once that electric attack hit the ground. Weavile froze the ground before him, and made a wall, to defend himself against the attack. Since the arena was surrounded by water, the ice froze fast, into a mini-fort, on the field, "Now, Nasty plot!"
"Lapras, attack the Ice with Thunderbolt!" Lapras' electric attack reflects off of the ice, then striking the ground to the right, "What the... Hydro Pump!" Lapras fires Water at the Ice, but it only froze, even more, "Damn... Uuuh... Ummm..." Arctic was out of moves.
"What? That's it? Weavile had a chance in maxing out his special attack. Now then, slash you way outta there!"
Four cutting sounds were heard, inside the mini-fort, and everything but the base of the ice was sliced into fine, crystalline pieces, making a show of sparkling ice. The crowd “Oooh”s in awe.
"You tremendous showoff," Arctic said.
"Why thank you. Now, Shadow Ball!"
"Hydro Pump!"
Weavile fires the dark lump, though despite the power of the opponent's move and its low special attack; all thanks to all the nasty plotting, the Shadow ball prevailed, and even had enough damage to finish off Lapras.
"Lapras is unable to battle, Weavile wins the round!" said the ref. A.M.'s Weavile crosses his arms, with a smirk.
"... Oh god..."
"I have truly broken your confidence, Arctic," A.M. nods, smirking, crossing his arms, "You can still quit, while you're ahead. Eevee and Articuno are all you have left. What to do, what to do? What will you do, Arctic?"
"How about tell you to SHUT THE HELL UP!" Arctic shouts, calling out his Articuno.
A.M. calls back Weavile, then calls out his Articuno, "Luna, it's been a while, but this time, don't easy up on Aurora."
A.M.'s Articuno shifts her eyes to A.M., reading "Gotcha," as she looks back to her counterpart, a glint appearing in her eyes.
"Aurora! Charge in and use Wing attack!"
"Luna, dodge then grab Aurora from behind."
Luna seems to be faster, than when they first battled. Probably because she wasn't pulling any punches, this time. It flies right past Aurora, though swings by, and then takes her, from the back of her wings, pulling her up.
"Wha?! What the hell?!"
"Throw her up, then use Ice beam."
Luna couldn't have been more accurate. Aurora, thrown up, though with no control on her flight, tries to flap her wings, but, to no avail, Luna had already fired an ice beam, which hits dead on. The force knocks Aurora off her wing and she hits the ground, hard. Aurora rolls over, ready for more, though.
"Come on. You gotta stay more alert, Aurora. Roost!" Aurora recovers, from the hit, by restoring her strength with her down feathers.
"Luna, Steel wing."
Luna dives down, tucks in her wings, then spreads them out, glowing, again, and SMASHES them into Aurora, flying up. That attack did more than the Ice beam did.
"Come on, Aurora, you can do it!" Arctic tells her. Though, Aurora was already losing confidence, "Try to fight back! Use Mind Reader! Then Sheer Cold!"
"That's not going to work on Luna, Arctic. Luna, Sky attack!" Luna glows, while in the air, while Aurora was locking on and firing her ultimate move. The attack hits, and freezes Luna, solid, but Luna broke through, without doing anything, except preparing for her next attack, "WHAT THE?!"
"Were you LISTENING to me? I said that wasn't going to work! Luna! Sky Attack!"
Luna screeches, then charges down, striking Aurora down, as the final blow. A large back draft of dust kicked up, shrouding the two, but Luna flies out of it, landing by A.M., as Aurora lies on the stadium floor, defeated.
"Aurora, no..." Arctic said, rushing to her side.
A.M. nods, "No challenge for Luna, at all... Nice job, though you might have overdone it, a bit. We're facing Arctic, not one of the Teams. I don't think treating it like your training dummy was a good idea," Luna had a sheepish face that had "Sorry..." written on it, "It's okay, Luna."
"Articuno is unable to battle. Dark Articuno is the winner of the round!"
"What do you mean? That was my last Pokémon!" Arctic protests.
"You still have Eevee, in there. Though, I think Arctic was right. Even if Eevee was sent out, he wouldn't stand a chance, alone, in it’s current condition," A.M. said.
"Okay... then, the winner of this match is A.M.!" said the ref. And then, the cheering went on.
"Oooh, Arctic lost. Though, he did have a point, A.M. is quite strong," Candice said, surprised.
"Heh, what did I say?" Mark asks, his hands behind his head, "He's THE Ice Pokémon Expert, after all..."
"So, what did we learn today?" A.M. asks Arctic, who recalls his Articuno.
"What? How to pick on people who are weaker than you?" Arctic asks.
"No. That you need to train more, rather than just hope for the battle to go your way. You've been slacking off on your training, and I've been letting you slide, for a while; but now, I have to crack down on you hard. Other than simply taking the loss, you need to learn from it, and move on. Once you can do that, maybe, just maybe, you can beat me."
"BEAT YOU?! You're nearly invincible! You destroyed me, with absolutely NO saving grace at all, and you're saying that I can beat you!? THAT'S impossible!"
"Dude, you break that line of impossibility. You're actually much more stronger than you think you are. Even god-modding has its limits, you know. It's until YOU choose to use that power that you'll be stronger, even better than Ash and his Haxachu. After all, you're the only one who can, once he gets to his highest point."
"... I don't even believe that anymore..." Arctic said, silently.
"... Fine. Be that way. But if you don't want to believe what I tell you, you're only holding yourself back," A.M. snaps, him and Luna going back to their place.
"Arctic..." Kaiorga said.
"... I failed... I failed in beating A.M. I failed in Aurora, nei, my whole team. I failed in all of them... I even failed in myself..." Arctic walks off, as the audience clears, leaving Kaiorga and the others.
"Poor guy," Candice said, to Kaiorga, as she walks away.
"Come on, Kaiorga. He needs time to be alone. He has to look at himself, before he can face the challenges ahead of him..." Mark said.
Kaiorga sighs.

Part 4

The next day, after the big rematch with A.M., Arctic mopes around the base, on how he lost to A.M. He didn't answer any questions the others asked him, or have the courage to even speak to Candice, again, since he figured she might laugh at him or something; but, other than that, he just moped. He couldn't even talk to Aurora, feeling he failed her. He just sits down, at one of the tables at the library, and mopes, thinking to himself how he failed.
"You know," Candice said, appearing behind Arctic, resting one of her elbows on his shoulder, "You keep acting like that, you're gonna become a miserable mope, for the rest of your life, you know that?"
"..." Arctic doesn't say anything.
"Come on, cheer up. You did your best, right? That's all that counts."
"..."
"Don't you know? It's unhealthy to win all the time; because, when someone who's better than you, finally shows up, and you don’t know how to lose, you’ll get like this."
Arctic finally sighs, "It's not that."
"Oh MY GOD! HE SPOKE! IT'S A MIRACLE!!" shouts a random Organization member, who soon receives a shoe to his face, "Ow!" he falls out, due to the hit.
"I can take a lost. It's not that I lost the battle. It's that I failed in them; my team, I mean. I'm their trainer. I'm supposed to be TRAINING them, for battle. Instead, I've done a lousy job in that, and I got beaten so badly, it just goes to show me how much I've trained..."
Candice huffs, "Were you listening to ANYTHING A.M. said? He said a couple of things. One; "Other than simply taking a loss, you need to learn from them!" Two; "you break the line of impossibility!" And three; that you're actually much stronger than you think you are! And until YOU choose to use that unlocked potential, you'll never become as strong as you can be!"
"..." Arctic says nothing, and droops his head.
That’s when Candice got serious. Candice takes Arctic by the collar, then shakes him, violently, "LISTEN, YOU, UNTIL YOU LEARN FROM YOUR FRICKIN' MISTAKES, YOU WILL NOT BECOME STRONGER! AND YOU WILL BE THE ONLY ONE HOLDING YOURSELF BACK!" Fire was in her eyes, when Candice stops shaking Arctic, looking eye-to-eye with him, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"
"C-c-crystal, Ma'am!" Arctic was shocked at the change in behavior.
"Good," Candice drops Arctic, calmed down, "Now, I'm gonna let you bask in that, for a while. I need to catch up on my studies," Candice picks up her books, and then heads to another table.
"Geez..." Arctic groans, staggering to his feet. Whatever Candice said to him really hit him hard, for when he recovered, he had a MAJOR headache. He looks up and then sees that he must've hit his head on the table. Either way, he was over his near-depression stage. Though, before he could recover from his headache, one of the I.C.E. members appears in front of him.
"Hey, sir..."
"BAAH!" Arctic shouts, banging his head on the table, yet again, "GAH! That was my head! TWICE!"
"Sorry... But the mistress, herself, has requested you in her quarters..."
The I.C.E. member leads Arctic to the head of the I.C.E. room, for whatever reason she has. The I.C.E. member closes the door after Arctic. There, after checking to see why the door was closed, he noticed. There was the young, and beautiful, mistress of Organization I.C.E., the same one from when Arctic was battling A.M., who in the mirror, powdering her face, trying not to look so red. She notices Arctic, in her mirror, though doesn't turn around.
"Umm... hello, there..." Arctic said, sheepishly.
"Hello..." she said, friendly. She turns around, so he's looking at her, "Tell me; how do I look?"
Arctic had to draw close, though doesn't touch the mistress, at all, to notice a bit of her face, she missed.
"You missed a spot, right side of the chin," Arctic said. Arctic caught what he said, though, instead of shouting; she turns around and gets the part she missed, then turning around, to face Arctic, again.
"Better?"
"Perfect!" Arctic pulls up two thumbs.
The mistress turns back into the mirror, smiling, "I like a straight-forward man, such as you," she said, as she adds her earrings, and starts wrapping her hair, putting it in a band.
"Uuh, I'm taken, sorry to say..." Arctic said.
"Oh... Well, still, you get straight to the point. Any of the other guys would've simply said "I look great" or something, without a second look. Know what I mean?"
"I've done it... Learned from that mistake..." Arctic smiles sheepishly.
"Well, you fought well, down there, despite the fact that you lost. Ah, well, at least you didn't win, and get the easy way out. We wouldn't have met, properly, if you hadn't, right?"
"Uh, oh yes, right..." Arctic said, "Say, uuuh, mistress, I-"
"Call me Jade," the mistress, Jade, was done with her hair, and was now clipping on her piece, for her toga-like shirt.
"... Jade. I'd really like to know how to win the Base's symbol, the "Snowstorm's eye." Um, please..."
"Still to the point, I see. Well, then, you're looking at the Snowstorm's eye, right here..." Jade points to her piece, which has a flake symbol with an eye as the center, "And to win it, you have to beat me, in the games..."
"The games?"
"Yes, the games. The I.C.E. games. You'll be tested, in three different events. The first one will be of your skill. The second one will test your endurance. While, the third, and final one, will test your strength, in which you have to battle me."
"I figured I'd have to battle SOMEONE. Then again, it's the central for all Ice Trainers. Of course..." Arctic groans.
"Eh, the games aren't hard, depending on how you are with Skill and Endurance. It's strength, which really gets everyone, since I'm the toughest trainer, in Organization I.C.E." Jade shrugs, "If you want to win the symbol, you'll have to go through it."
"Hey, I'm up for it," Arctic said, confidently.
"I knew you couldn't turn this down," Jade crosses her arms, smiling confidently.
"When do we start?"
"Tomorrow morning. I'll tell the others, that the games are back up, again," Jade takes her Ice crystal staff, "I still have a bit of work to do, so, that'll give you a bit more time, to prepare," she steps out, Arctic following after her, "And Arctic, you just stay the way you are. I'm sure that whoever is the lucky girl to be with you, you'll keep being her guy, no matter what pops up. Even under the worse circumstances, I'm sure she'll come back to you. Well, I would, if I were her..."
"I'll keep that in mind..." Arctic said, "Though, there's something I have to ask you..."
"What is it?" Jade stops, before she had walked out the door.
"My Articuno... She's particular... You know of the war against Pikachu and Articuno, correct?"
"I've heard of it, but I was just getting onto that, in my studies," Jade pats Arctic on the shoulder, "I'd love to talk to you. I really do. But I have a lot of work to do, I'm sorry..."
With that, she walks out of her room; Arctic follows up, after her.
After Jade left, Arctic looks at his Pokéballs, with much concern, "Guys... Sorry I've been such a bad trainer... I may have let you guys down, but it won't happen again. I can't assure you guys that, but I'm making a promise that it won't. Together, with you guys behind me, we'll all become great; I'll become an Ice Pokémon master, and you guys will be the best you can be. That's my promise to you all."
Arctic puts aside his Pokéballs, while he heads to the library; where something there, could possibly shed some light on his Articuno's circumstance. He searched all of the books, he could get to, but he couldn't find anything in particular. What he wanted to do was look in the forbidden zone, but, as the name stated, it was FORBIDDEN! Arctic nods, seeing as though his efforts into finding the information he seeks failed. Though, his luck turns around.
"Hey, Arctic," Mark said, from the shadows.
"Yo..." Arctic said, down.
"Looking for access into the forbidden zone?"
"How'd you-"
"Dude, there's no need. The book, with all your answers, is here. This is from the forbidden zone. Be warned, you might not like what history describes it, and neither will Aurora, for that matter..."
"How are you so sure?"
"I continued research, before the whole "ordeal" of LeBronda and such. This topic intrigues even me. What I want to do is get more into it, but I figured you might want to look it up yourself..." Mark waves, with two of his fingers, "And Layla tried to follow you here, but she's been taken care of..."
"You mean..."
"No, not that kind of punishment; She's just had her memory deleted and will be expulsed from this place, by means of... unusual transportation. She's lucky, for the house would give much worse to intruders..."
"I don't think I'd want to know what those are..." Arctic said, shuddering.
"Believe me, you don't... I'm off..." Mark heads outside, which Alex was probably waiting, and heads back to the AMLIK region.
Arctic sits at a nearby table, to take a look at his newly received book. It was a bit dusty, from the last few days of use, but nothing a good wipe down couldn't fix. The cover of the book appeared to have a snowflake symbol on it, with lightning bolt symbols around it. Arctic opens the book, to the cover's description.
"Recorded back to the year of the Pikachu, 250 years ago (possibly longer, or as studies had shown),

Anonymous," Arctic reads. He continues.

"Unbeknownst to the two war wagers, several humans watched their war go on, as the lightning bolts crash down and snow falls in the vicinity. As what's been recorded, the two sides launch their most powerful attacks at each other, regardless of their surroundings. For several years, it hasn't been clarified to why the two have been fighting, but it wasn't until this day, that the two wagers, Pika and Freezer, have been pitting their families, related beings and supporters against the opposing sides. It wasn't known, until one day, it all came to an end, as their fierce duels finally calmed, due to a mutual agreement. This is the story of the Ice and Lightning legend."

Arctic was intrigued, but skims ahead a few pages. He needed facts, not the details of the people who recorded it. He turns to one of the pages, in the middle of one of the chapters.

"- of the watchers had reported, that a large crowd of Pokémon were coming, due to a dispute over land. What was the world coming to? Powerful creatures, such as Freezer, Thunder and Fire, though opposing little Pokémon, such as Pika, Rai and the Sands, all on opposite sides, ready to fight each other. Their leaders approached each other, and shout at each other, in their own tongues, until Pika attacks first. Electricity surged from its body, to one of the Freezer's, injuring it heavily. Though, the Freezer wasn't out, yet. She, being a powerful deity, uses a powerful blast of ice and snow, blowing the little Pokémon's small party away a short distance. The other deities laugh at the small Pokémon's feeble attempt to beat them, but they were strong willed, and wanted to settle this dispute over their land. The sides exchanged harsh blows, as they tried to win over their prospered land. It was only the first battle, and the deities lost, though the small Pokémon, despite the small victory, knew that the war for this land was far from over."

Arctic skims through more of the pages. He'd like to go on, with the whole book, but he wanted to get some lost training done. As he skips on, he notices the breaks in the story were the new authors, as their narrative styles became different. So, he skips onto the last few pages of the book, where the ending nearly devastated him.

"-From the large decrease in numbers, both sides were at their last legs. The ones that supported the last few battles had fled, most likely feeling as though the ravaged land was no longer worth fighting for and went to seek for different areas. Even the war wagers' own kin had abandoned the leaders. The leaders, Pika and Freezer, still fighting after years of wins and losses, continued to fight, as the days pass, even after exhausting themselves. More and more humans watched from the sides, feeling unable to do anything, until they finally exchange their last blows. The duel was declared indecisive, or so the humans have judged it, but the two duelers simply gave each other looks, after recovering and went their separate ways, injured, looking as though they could've died soon after their heavy duel. From what the humans have judged it, it went more than for just land. If it was for land, the humans, nonetheless, would've conquered over it, and the Pokémon would've fled, at the sight of them. Though, the duelers knew of their presence, yet continued to fight, and yet the humans did nothing to stop them. From what they declared, it wasn't land they fought for, it was for their pride.
The humans checked over their past, and from what they described, the deities first lost dealt a massive blow to their pride, which sparked the war. Land was their first priority, but was soon forgotten about, after many battles. The war between Freezer and Pika were thought to have many other possibilities, but Pride stood out, the most. The battle, claiming to be indecisive, showed that, from the years of fighting over it, neither side won back what was lost. Though, despite their losses, they knew that, one day, they would spring the opportunity to win it back, when the time came, and they could be at their peaks of their strengths..."

That was the end of the book. Arctic was still flabbergasted, skimming most of the book. News like this would shock Aurora, but Arctic knew he couldn't hide the truth from her. Arctic had no doubt anymore; Aurora's ancestors were involved, and, most likely, Aurora, in this case. Though, Arctic knows that if this book is as true as it states, then the following year, which was in seven months or so, would be the year that Aurora and Ash's Pikachu would spark up tension, yet again. And Arctic knew where he would stand, in the middle of this. He would support Aurora, in helping her win, as Ash with his Pikachu; despite the fact he wouldn't know what was going on, or why it was.
Arctic could now understand why Aurora had been in so much discomfort and pain, after so long, though; the reason she didn't want to tell him was due to making him worry; especially after feeling so down, after the battle with A.M. If anything, Arctic figured Aurora knew all along, but wasn't angry at all. It was out of love; family love, that Aurora didn't tell him.
Though, this also brought up Arctic's other hand. He also realized why Ash's Pikachu was such an invincible force, when it came to Ash's pep talk. Pika was also trying hard, to win back his pride, and the only way to do that was if he could try to practice upon every opponent that Ash had sent him out against, and try hard. What still confounded Arctic was why Pika didn't want to evolve. Probably because of a personal issue he had with a Raichu, or at least the feeling Arctic had gotten.
Arctic, now with his confidence boosted, felt that he knew his purpose, now. He was to become a messenger of the Ice types, to defend Aurora's honor, who she, was defending her honor of all the other Articuno, and was going to be the one to recover their lost pride, many years ago. Aurora knew of the heavy burden she bears, but Arctic now, fully, has her back. And, with the help of his other Pokémon, he knew now, with much training, they would go for it.
Arctic puts down the book, leaving it on the table, for someone authorized to put it back to do it. For now, he had some training to take care of. Arctic calls out all of his Pokémon.
"Guys, I've made a promise to you all, back there, and guess what? I'm not holding back on it," Arctic said, firmly, "Despite the odds of what mishaps A.M. may put in our way-"
Which will be many, rest assured, A.M. adds in.
"... We'll overcome them, okay guys?" the Pokémon raise a paw, making their own sound, in excitement, "Good. Now, let's get to work. The games are tomorrow, and we all need to be fit for it all, especially a tough battle. Let's move!" Arctic and his Pokémon charge to the battle arena. Unbeknownst to him, Jade was watching him from the doorway, with a smile. She turns and goes back to her own business, which was taking care of the base.

Meanwhile, with Layla...

Layla awakens to the sound of rumbling. Her vision was still blurred, but she could tell she was moving in something. She couldn't move her arms or legs much, it being in a tight space, but looks out of the small window, in front of her and could tell she was moving in something. Suddenly, she felt as if outside the window of sorts, it had flown into the air. Layla screams, as gravity is taking control again, and the encasement she was in starts to free fall. The case then hits something, sliding down it, then, finally, stopping, abruptly, hitting something. A bell had rung. Layla was breathing hard, due to the sudden suspense. Someone was approaching the encasement she was in and opens it, from the outside. It appeared to be a Nurse Joy. She nods, though doesn't say anything to Layla. She simply helps Layla out and gestures her to follow her out of the back room. Afterwards, she closes the door and locks it. Layla was still confused to what was going on, but she didn't really know what to feel. Her memory was blotted and she had no idea what had happened.
"... I really need to go home and sleep this off..." Layla said, walking home. She would call out her Pidgeot and fly home, but from that traumatizing experience, she wouldn't really be taking flight on her Pokémon, anytime soon.

Back with Arctic...

Arctic and Kaiorga have a practice battle, to strengthen Arctic's team. Kaiorga uses the rental Pokémon Mark gave her, so she doesn't accidentally blow her cover.
"Sneasel! Aerial Ace!" Kaiorga commands.
"Lapras! Counter it with a Body Slam!" Arctic commands. Lapras leaps into the air and attempts to slam down on Sneasel, but it dodges.
"Ugh, Arctic, you're going to have to try something else, other than just Body Slam, to hit a fast Pokémon, like Sneasel..."
"What else can I teach it? I can't teach it a loads worth of TMs. It doesn't have any hands."
"How about Hyper Beam?"
"Why Hyper Beam?"
"Because, it doesn't have to move, and plus, the explosion of the attack can send the opponent flying."
"But if I miss, there's the recoil of the attack, which will leave Lapras wide open. I'd rather not risk that..."
"Just try it, okay?"
Arctic sighs, then takes a CD-like disk from his bag, then places it onto Lapras' head. It absorbs the power within it, and learns Hyper Beam, though the disk breaks in two, "I feel as though I'm going to regret this, later..."
"You won't. Now, let's test it. Sneasel! Aerial ace, again!"
"Lapras... Swallow your pride and use Hyper Beam."
Lapras charges a powerful beam in her mouth, and then fires it. Sneasel dodges the attack, but the impact of the explosion sends it flying backwards, into the air. Arctic wanted to follow up with another attack, but Lapras was left immobile. Sneasel lands on her feet, slightly injured from the previously used attack.
"As I said, I won't depend on such a move like that..." Arctic said, "I could've countered, but Lapras can't move after use, right?"
"Still, it beats a Body Slam any day, right?" Kaiorga recalls her Sneasel.
"Aye..." Arctic recalls Lapras, "These training sessions are really helping out my team!"
"As you said, they really need them. Now, then, call out Aurora. She should go up against Fear XIII, now."
"Wha?" Arctic asks, "Is that a challenge, I hear?"
"It's for training, Arctic."
"Well, your Kyogre knows Sheer Cold, right? Let's fair a quick one-on-one who's Sheer Cold is better."
Kaiorga sees that Arctic won't be easily talked out of this, "Fine, Arctic," Kaiorga calls out her Kyogre, while Arctic calls out his Articuno.
"Alright, Fear,"
"Okay, Aurora."
"SHEER COLD!" they shout at the same time.
Both Pokémon launch out the ultimate Ice attack, at each other, which the blast causes a large back draft of Ice and the forming of large amounts of never melt ice, which rained from the merging point of the two attacks. The two attacks die down, after a few seconds, as neither Pokémon was harmed.
"... I think that was a draw..." said Arctic, surprised. One of the Organization members walks in, and then sees the large chunks of ice.
"Wha-What is this?!" he said, with a surprised look on his face.
"Sorry! Sorry! We'll get this clea-"
"Thanks, guys! We've been running low of this material!"
Both Kaiorga and Arctic stares at the guy, wide-eyed, "Excuse me?" they both said.
"Yeah, the guys need the never melt ice for the little Pokémon, who need the boost in getting used to using their ice attacks. Also, someone had an accident, with one of the Regice, who used Super Power and blew a hole in the lower levels..."
"IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!" shouts one of the other Organization members.
"Anyways, thanks. We'll have this excavated in a while. In the meantime, take this," the organization guy hands Arctic and Kaiorga, an Icy rock, each, "Thanks!" the guy whistles, as the Piloswine cleanup crew rams into the ice towers, knocking them, then moving them to the designated areas and off of the field. He follows, soon after them.
"... Ooookay..." Arctic said, "Back to training, I guess..."
Kaiorga nods.

Later that same day...

Arctic looks for a good spot to start training, again, for when he was eager to go back to the stadium, it was occupied, for the little league training. Kaiorga had gone, to give her Team some rest and get some food, but Arctic wanted to train, while he was in the mood. He heads outside, seeing all of the Ice Type Pokémon, and the Organization breeders tending to their needs. What interested him was that two of the Articuno he saw appeared to be fighting over something. Arctic narrows his eyes.
"Uh-oh. I sense mutual conflict..." Arctic said, plainly, he calls out Aurora, "Turn human, Aurora, we might have a problem..." Aurora turns human.
"What's wrong?"
Arctic points to the situation, "See that? What are they fighting over?"
"I... Don't know. Let's go see..." Arctic and Aurora walks over to the two bickering Articuno, as the breeder tries to calm them down, "What's wrong?"
The two Articuno continue to angrily shout, in their tongues, at each other.
"Hey! HEY!" Arctic shouts, silencing the two angry deities, "What's this all about?"
Articuno #1 starts to state the problem.
"Wha? Who's this?" the breeder asks, responsible for taking care of all the Articuno.
"She said that the other one was stealing food from her," Aurora translates, though Articuno #2 bickers back, "The other one protests of the incident and claims it's the other way around. He was having food stolen from him."
"What's this food issue?" Arctic asks, and then turns to the breeder, "Don't you feed them all, evenly?" while Arctic talks, Aurora tries to calm the situation down.
"I do, but some of the Articuno are greedy. It's hard to tell, since they do it, behind our backs. We've tried telling them, but they simply start bickering, again. And it's not just with the Articuno. It's happened occasionally, with the Regice, and some of the other Ice types, as well; mainly the Sneasel and Weavile, groups. We ended up resorting to attacking them, to calm them down..."
"Well, attacking those two is just going to cause more problems, as aggressive as they can be... Hmm..." Arctic switches his position into a pout, "Have you tried separate eating stables?"
"Tried it."
"How about feeding them all separately?"
"Tried it."
"Hmm... How about-"
"Watching them? Tried it. They attacked the watchers, probably due to their lack of privacy..."
"Ugh..." Arctic blinks, twice, "... Well..." a light bulb appears above Arctic's head, "I just got an idea!"

Later that same day...

"MA'AM! You won't believe this! The new kid, Arctic, found a way to stop the Pokémon from bickering!" said one of the breeders.
"He did what?" Jade asks. She's escorted to where the wild Pokémon were and widened her eyes with amazement, "Wha..."
Arctic has several different feeding systems, set up for each of the type of Pokémon. For the Articuno and such, they had their own large container, where they ate their food there, the Weavile and Sneasel would eat their food from bins, which filled up to as much as they desired, etc. There were so many ways, that the Pokémon, themselves, could choose from how they wanted to eat, and there was plenty for all.
"-nd from there, you can see that the Regice could simply fall into the station and just eat their food, from there. Sleep in it, if they want," Arctic chuckles, "And over there-"
"This kid's amazing... He thought THIS up?"
"With a little help with his power that Mark mentioned," the breeder said, "He called this kid right. He does know how to use his powers. I know one thing; my suspicion that this kid could possibly misuse those powers Mark mentioned is gone."
Jade's facial expression of shock turns into a calm smile. She knew she was the only who could trust Arctic, but she was happy seeing that others could trust him, as well.

That evening...

Arctic and Kaiorga were prepping for bed, when Vince enters the room.
"Hey, Arctic," he said, "The leader wants to see you."
"She does?" Arctic asks, getting up. Kaiorga stops him, and then nods.
"Don't go too far, Arctic..." Kaiorga said, in a low voice.
"I know where to stop. Don't worry..." Arctic leaves and follows Vince, to Jade's room. When Arctic enters, her hair was down, and her toga was off, though she had clothes underneath. And perverts, I don't mean the underwear.
"Hey, Arctic," Jade said, "This is, in no way, a seduction, by any sense of the word, just so you know. I just want to tell you, I'm proud to see that you're a good guy, as I figured."
"Ah, phew..." Arctic said, in a low voice, then loud enough for Jade to hear, "Well, I'm just trying to do what I can, to keep everything in order..."
"And you've developed the loss of all the suspicious eyes looking at you, too."
"... What suspicious eyes?"
"Everyone had doubts that, because you have that "Reality twisting" power, you would probably feel high and mighty of yourself, from the others, or you would use your powers for the wrong reasons. They've been proven wrong, and they like seeing you help around."
Arctic grins, chuckling sheepishly, "As I said, I'm just doing what I can..."
"Well, the games are tomorrow, as a reminder, so get plenty of rest. Harsh tasks await you, with your challenges tomorrow. Be properly prepared..."
"Aye, Ma- I mean Jade!" Arctic salutes, and then takes his leave.
"And Arctic," Jade stops Arctic, "Honestly, how do I look?"
Arctic swallows hard, on the answer, "I'll... keep that one to myself, in all due respect..." Arctic hurries out, turning red.
Jade turned, chuckling through her breath, keeping from doing it aloud, "He's fun to tease..."

Later, that same evening...

An unexpected group of visitors appear over the clouds, in their large aerial craft. Paratroopers parachute down to the base, and surround the place, making no sounds, or tripping any alarms. They prepare explosives, to the side of one of the base walls, then back away. Someone signals and the wall is blown in. Almost instantly, an alarm is sounded off.
The guys on the watch duty had a hard time seeing the intruders, due to their attire of black, but when the explosion went off, they went straight to high alert.
"All personnel, we are on RED ALERT! I repeat, RED ALERT!" shouts one of the watchmen, "The wall in the base has been blown! The base has been breached! Cut off entries to the bases, to minimize the chances of hostages being taken and send in the attack team! Make sure they are absolutely NO WHERE near the leader!"
Some of the areas in the base were cut off, so the intruders couldn't get in, but other areas were stopped, due to chaff, before the areas could be closed off and secured. The doors affected by Chaff, which were small particles that are used to disable electrical devices, could not close, due to the particles disabling their command receivers. The intruders, though their attack was well planned, were only after something in the breeding section; the rare Pokémon. The attack teams were coming out of their places, firing stun guns and such at the intruders, though the intruders were outnumbering the attack teams, pushing through.
The commotion also woke up a few others, in the base, apart from just the watch group. Arctic and Kaiorga woke up to the mess, and, surprisingly, Candice.
"What's going on?" Candice asks. One of the intruders was knocked towards her door, which Candice quickly closes, avoiding collision with the taken out intruder, yelping a bit.
Arctic examines the intruder, seeing their "R" insignia, on their shirts, "Team Rocket!"
"But, how did they find this place?!" Kaiorga asks.
"Who cares? All I know is they're in for some pain!" Arctic said, quickly getting dressed then heading out of his room, and with some of his Pokémon called out. He fights his way through the Rocket grunts, to find himself at the Breeding place, with all the Ice type Pokémon netted and ready to be shipped away, with the aerial craft. In the craft, Arctic could hear familiar laughing of two of the least favorite people he wanted to see. No, not Ash and Pikachu, nor Jessie and James (If anything, they're higher on the "Favorites" list).
"Alright, you! Prepare for trouble!" Cassidy shouts.
"And while you're at it, make it double!" Butch shouts.
"Here's our mission, so ya better listen!" they shout, in unison.
"To infect the world with devastation!"
"To blight all peoples in every nation!"
"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"
"To extend our wrath to the stars above!" They jump down, to ground zero.
"Cassidy!" she raises completely to her feet.
"And Butch, of course!" Butch follows up, after Cassidy.
"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!"
"So, surrender to us now, or you will lose this fight!"
"Yeah, that's right!"
"What the f***?!" Arctic asks, "How the hell did you guys find this place?!"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Cassidy said, smirking.
... What? I didn't tell 'em! A.M. said, in Arctic's mind.
"Any who, thanks for letting us have all these Pokémon, kid!" Butch said.
"Oh, shut up, Bob!" Arctic shouts back.
"AARGH! IT'S BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTCH!!! CAN'T YOU GET MY NAME RIGHT, EVEN ONCE?! IT'S BUTCH-BUTCH-BUUUTCH!!!"
"Well, guess what? You guys aren't getting out here, with these Pokémon, OR your memories, for that matter! Dewgong! Signal b-"
"Wait!" shouts one of the attack team, "Don't open fire! If you miss, you could injure the other Pokémon!"
"So, how am I supposed to land a hit?! If I don't do something, then..."
"We're already on it... Use your Articuno. Mind Reader, then use an attack..."
Cassidy and Butch become spooked at the thought, though Arctic smirks at the idea.
"Gah! What do we do, Butch?!" Cassidy shouts.
"I say run for it, now, before we take one in the butt!" Butch shouts back. Arctic already calls out Articuno.
"Aurora, use-"
"I'd hold your tongue, if I were you..." said one of the Rocket members. Arctic turns around, seeing the horror. Two of the Rockets had taken Candice and Kaiorga prisoner, "If you value their lives, stand by. We have all the Pokémon we need, so you don't have to worry about us taking yours. Just let us go by, otherwise, they'll suffer for it."
Arctic grits his teeth. He knew he was responsible, for what happened to the two girls, so all he could do was stand by. Stand by, and let them get away. They took Kaiorga and Candice with them, making sure Arctic wouldn't try anything funny, and as soon as everything and everyone was put back into their place, Cassidy and Butch took the time to rub it in Arctic's face, as they prepared to get away.
"We're getting awa-aay! We're getting awa-aay!~♪" They sang, as they were getting away, in their aerial craft. Aurora looks at Arctic, then at the aerial craft. She felt how tormented Arctic was, unable to do anything, and decided to take the situation into her own hands. She flies up, chasing after the aerial craft, it still into position, and the two still teasing Arctic, though, now catching sight of Aurora, approaching them, "We-re getting awa-AH!"
"Aurora! NO!" Arctic shouts, calling out to her, "Don't do it!"
"Call her off! Call her off!" shouts Cassidy, though then calls to her comrades, "Shoot it down!"
"I'm trying, but she's not-" the cannons on the aerial craft turn on the panels of the side of the craft, aiming at Aurora, "NO! AURORA! COME BACK! NOW!!"
Aurora was out of earshot of Arctic's pleas, and starts to attack the aerial craft, with Ice beams, while small fire balls were shot towards her. She dodges the fireballs and counter-attacks. Surprisingly, the ice attacks simply bounced off the aerial craft.
"HA! Your petty ice attacks are impervious to our NEW ship! It's made exactly for this kind of weather, AND to fend off pesky Ice type Pokémon. Now, just fall like the birdie to the stone already, will ya?" Butch shouts. One of the fireballs hit Aurora, but she continues to follow the craft. The attacks, after the first hit, simply continue to hit Aurora, in a barrage. Aurora took as much as she could, before finally falling, into the storm of the night. Arctic, who just barely saw the event through the storm, felt his heart hit rock bottom.
"AURORA!!!" Arctic shouts, going into the storm, to retrieve his badly injured friend. Despite the others' warnings, before he rushed in, which Arctic paid no attention to; he makes a beeline to where Aurora had fallen.
The snow was beating on Arctic, slowing him down, but he didn't care. Despite the storm blowing in his direction, nearly depriving him of most of his vision, the bitter cold weather, and the even colder evening, Arctic was determined to find Aurora, whatever the cost. The blizzard's wind was blowing in his ear, though; he could hear the faint cooing of Articuno's cry. There was a small burst of grunting, but then a sharp cry as a blizzard, opposing the natural one, cleared the storm, making the invisible, visible again.
Arctic looks, as Aurora stood some distance away from him, and had cleared the storm, wings spread out, revealing the burn wounds, it received, from taking the barrage of attacks. Despite all that's happened, Aurora seemed, somewhat, satisfied, as she transforms into her human form. She was staggering, horribly, as she took her steps towards Arctic, but still kept her satisfied face. Though, the satisfaction wears off, as she staggers, once more, and then falls into Arctic's arms. She had fainted, due to the fatigue of fighting the Rockets and clearing the storm, for the short time. Arctic felt relieved, somewhat, seeing that Aurora was okay. And, the Organization was right behind him, calling for him, and waving to him, to bring them back to base.

Part 5

Aurora was taken to the medic room, as soon as they arrived back, for treatment on the burns. After the long explanation, to who Aurora was; since barely anyone recognized her, in her human form, they finally took her in, for treatment. While she was being treated, Arctic has some things on the Rocket situation cleared up, from how the Rockets managed to find the base, in the first place.
"So, how DID the Rockets find this place? I thought the place was unknown to the public!" Arctic asks.
"It was something that wasn't reported by our crew," Jade said, "At least that's what they've explained to me. From the looks of it, they said that there was a new member, amongst our group, who joined Team Rocket, because we didn't represent him, for our annual tournament. And, because we didn't represent him, he left our ranks and joined Team Rocket, or so I've heard."
"So, why didn't they stop him, and decommission him, like you guys do everyone else?"
"Well, when they confronted him, he escaped. They didn't want me to know that they had allowed the turncoat to get away, so they just kept it all hush-hush, hoping they'd be able to catch the traitor, before I found out."
"Sheesh, well I don't blame you for being cautious, about keeping this place secret."
"It's not just us. The other Organization "T.Y.P.E." all have to keep their places a secret, as well. There are too many secrets, in these organizations, that shouldn't be allowed to the general public, that are just not meant for those that aren't ready to know. Some of the knowledge that we have would turn the face of the world, if they knew. I'm just glad that the Rockets are one-track minded, and just came here for the Pokémon, rather than the secrets that are held here."
"So you're saying that the secrets are more important that living beings?"
"I NEVER said that. The Pokémon are just as important, for they've secrets of their own, for us to conceal. There's a reason to why most legendaries aren't breedable, or genders aren't exactly known. It's due to their location. By that, I mean that if it wasn't for the fact that the area, here, is comfortable, supporting and relaxing, for the Pokémon that our organization houses, the Pokémon wouldn't, possibly, bred at all."
"So, it depends on certain locations, which allows them special abilities, huh?"
"That's about it. But we should get those Pokémon back. All of the other facts aside, they're still beings, and Team Rocket is all but kind and loving to Pokémon. Who knows what they could do to them..."
"I'll see what I can do, but my Articuno, Aurora, she took a pretty nasty licking, back there. I don't want her running into the fray, with me, this time. At least, not in this condition..."
"Well, we do still have ONE Articuno, left."
"Where?"
Jade takes a Pokéball, from her side, "Mine. She won't let anyone else ride on her, unless I'm with her, which means we'll have to go alone."
"But, the others... I don't think they'll let us do this..."
"Hey, any friend of yours is a friend of mine. And I don't let friends get hurt, okay?"
"We can't do this alone. They have probably about 50 men, and that's a bit too much for even my blood..." Arctic sighs, heavily, "I pulled that stunt, already, but without Aurora, I don't think I can do it, again. I'm turning into an old fart. I can't do stuff like that, anymore... Wha-maybe if I called u-"
"No. I mean, I'm okay with accepting outside help and all, but, we can't let outsiders know who I am. It's a rule, unfortunately... Though, it kills me to do this alone, we lack a choice in the option."
"... Well, we're stuck, then… I’m still wondering how we’re going to get those Pokémon back.”
"Forget about that. What I'm still wondering is how are we going to find them? It's not like we saw which way they were going."
"Aye, that's right... But!" Arctic then remembers something. Aurora, when Arctic came to her rescue, seemed to be satisfied in doing something, "I think I know who might have that answer..." Arctic hurries to the medic room, to see Aurora, "Aurora..."
"..." Aurora appears to be sleeping, but opens an eye, to look at Arctic, "Arc... tic..."
"Aurora, do you know which way Team Rocket went?"
Aurora nods, "Base... in Sevii islands... Five Island... I- AAH!" Aurora mutters. She was trying to get up, but a sharp pain hit her and forced her back down.
Arctic strokes Aurora's hair, with his hand, easing Aurora back to sleep, "Easy, Aurora... Take it easy... You need rest..." Aurora falls back to sleep. Arctic sneaks out, the way he came in, careful not to wake Aurora back up. He meets back up, with Jade, who was waiting on the news, "Sevii Islands, Five Island."
"Where did you find this out?"
"Aurora told me. Mind reader attack. When should we head out?"
"Now, while things are still in disarray. It's the best time, and we can, hopefully, get back, without too much commotion, from the others. The Games will have to be held off, for another day."
"I'm perfectly fine with that."
The two exit the I.C.E. base, prepping for the chase. Jade nods, then calls out her Articuno. Jade gets on first, then Arctic, and then they take off, to the Sevii Islands.

Meanwhile...

"Hahahahaha! Giovanni's gonna reward us big, with this haul!" Cassidy said, as they reached their base, on Five Island.
"Yeah, we might even be ranked up to Admin, with this big a haul! All thanks to that guy, what's his name! Ah yes, Jenkins! Thanks to his information, a few months ago, this would have never happened!" Butch said.
"Well, looks like tomorrow pay day. But what should we do to those prisoners we took?"
"Exterminate them, like rats, tomorrow morning. They don't have anymore use."

Back at the Organization base...

Aurora continues to rest, after the incident, though, as the room is cleared, a brilliant light beams down, into the middle of the room, and who else but to add in his two cents to the story? You guessed it.
"Sheesh, Aurora, I think you should pick yourself up. You look like s***, in that condition," A.M. said. Aurora groans, "It's about time you pulled yourself together and joined Arctic. He and Jade went off to face Team Rocket, and you know damn well he can't do this alone," Aurora mutters something, that only A.M. could hear, "Yes, I know, your condition, right now. But, I have just the thing to fix that..." A.M. takes Aurora, by her left wrist, and then holds up a small ring, much similar to the Guiding Ring, in Fire Emblem, "Time for you to upgrade classes, Aurora..." A.M. slips the ring onto Aurora's ring finger, which then, she starts to glow. The power of the ring was so great; Aurora started to levitate out of her bed, surging with the new power. A.M. only watched, in good spirits, as the new found power awakened in Aurora. A bright light beams into the air, from the Organization's base, which could be seen from miles. The sky was lit, with the power, as it cleared, in the light's wake, and once the light fades, the night's sky was clear as crystal. A smaller, less brilliant light goes back up, through the cleared sky, as something else rises to the sky, then charges towards Five Island, and into the night's sky, a misty tail of cold air trails behind it.

Back with Arctic and Jade...

They reach the base, on Five Island, which Jade knew a shortcut, there. The shortcut leads them, directly, behind the building, which the aerial craft was there, just as Aurora had said it had been. Jade had wrapped her face, so that her eyes, nose and some of her hair, pulled out of the pony tail she had put it into, were the only things showing. She still carried her staff, it serving for more than one purpose than just for a symbol of authority, though has it on her back, wrapped up, as well. They land, undetected, by the enemy; though still have a problem, with entry.
"The code, to getting in, huh?" Arctic asks.
"I wouldn't risk entering the wrong code. We could risk alerting the others..."
"We don't have to. All we have to do is l-"
"Ssh! Someone's coming!" Jade said, in a low voice, pulling Arctic into the nearby bushes. Two late night Rocket guards were approaching the door, very sleepily. They couldn't even walk straight, being so tired.
"Gah, that was some shift. Didn't think we'd last the whole 48 hour shift..." said the guard, nearest to the door.
"A-yep. We're gettin' our bonus, fer sure, though," said the other one, "Now, what were those passwords, again?"
"I remember them, clear as day... I think it was... "Goldeen needs log" and the other one was "Chansey yes nah"... or something like that..."
"Ugh..." the Rocket grunt leans forwards, squinting hard, to type in the passwords. He hits the last letter in and the door unlocks and opens. The Rocket grunts yawn, though closes the door behind them.
"Well, this works too..." Arctic said.
"You weren't really considering blowing out the door, were you?"
"That was, if all else failed. My first plan was to just try to unlock the locks, quietly," Arctic smiles, sheepishly.
The two wait a few minutes, to make sure the coast was clear, listening in, by the door, making sure no one was by it, when they typed in the codes. After typing in the two passwords, the door clicks open and the duo was in. The base was dark, due to the time of the evening, and security was at a minimum. All they needed to do was find Kaiorga, Candice and the missing Pokémon and get the heck outta there. The shadows were their only means of concealment, from the cameras that were in place, around the base. They would just have to hope that all would stay well, until they could get everyone out.
Though, just as things seemed as though they were going smoothly, one of the Rocket grunts sneezed, spooking Jade. Arctic had to press his hand over Jade's mouth, to keep the sound of her scream muffled. He was nearby, which really scared her. The guard sniffles, though continues being on the half-dazed lookout. He falls asleep, standing up, which gives them a chance to pass by him. Though, as they pass into another shadow, they didn't realize a camera was hidden, when they slipped past the half-sleep guard.

In the security room, one of the guys noticed something move, in the shadows, though blinks twice.
"Wh-What? Did I just see..." the guard rewinds the tape, seeing the figures move in the shadows. He's shocked at what he finds, "INTRUDERS!!" he hits the alarm. The lights burst on, in the entire building, as an alarm is raised.

"What? Dammit!" Jade said, pulling off her staff, as well as a Pokéball from her side, as the alarms go off.
"Well, so much for being sneaky!" Arctic said, taking two Pokéballs off his belt, "Eevee! Leafgreen! Let's go!" he throws them both up in the air, as Eevee and Venusaur pop out and materializes from the two Pokéballs.
"Froslass, come on out!" Jade calls out a Froslass of her own, to join the fray.
The Rockets appear in a swarm, calling out their Poison or Normal type Pokémon, to fight off the intruders. Arctic took on the Pokémon, with his own team, while Jade took on the incoming Rockets, throwing themselves at them, with her staff. While she was fighting them off, she noticed the Rocket who was still asleep, from the action. She pokes him, a bit, with her staff, making him wake up.
"WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHEN? WHY? MOTHER!" the Rocket shouts, though then gets struck on the back of the head, by Jade's staff, knocking him out.

While all the fighting was going on, Cassidy and Butch watch the fighting, from the security room, on one of the cameras.
"It's that kid! But how did they find us?! And who's that woman with him?" asks Butch.
"Who knows, but we have some good news. Giovanni's on his way over, with some of his best men, so once they take care of the small fry, Giovanni should finish them," Cassidy said.
"Yeah, but won't we get docked in our bonuses, because we wasn't able to stop them?"
"I don't think so. Giovanni knows of this kid's strength and knows even we don't stand a chance..."
Butch smirks, "Though, they're weakening, though. Looks like our men managed to hold them up, at least..."

Several minutes later...

The beat down was long, but tiring. Both Jade and Arctic, and their Pokémon fall in exhaustion, though on their knees, or so.
"Ha... Looks like that puts a stop to these guys, for a while..." Arctic said, tired. While things were going on, Jade couldn't hold them all, and he had to step in, a few times, punching the Rockets away, to get to her, and keep her fighting. Eevee's ears twitch, hearing something approaching. It moans, tiredly, "What's u-Oh f***..." Arctic saw it too. Giovanni and, from the looks of it, a few of his highly experienced men, approach the tired duo, and their beaten down comrades.
Giovanni simply smirks, "I knew you had something to do with this wild situation..." Giovanni said, "You've become quite the nuisance, lately..."
"Well, I do have a reputation of becoming a thorn in people's sides," Arctic chuckles.
"Well, no more. You're surrounded and exhausted, from fighting our comrades. Surrender now, or prepare to experience a world of pain."
"Ha! Yeah ri-" before Arctic could finish, Jade jumps up, in front of Arctic, and stances with her staff. Froslass joins her side, "What are you doing?"
"Leave this to me. I can take them!"
"That's arrogant! You're not even in any condition to fight!" Arctic could see Jade, quivering with exhaustion, trying to keep from falling out from it.
"I'll think of something! For now, get away and try to find the others."
"But... you-"
"GO! That's an order!"
"A-aye ma'am!" Arctic jumps to his feet, as he recalls Venusaur and Eevee, then hurries to get farther into the base.
Giovanni face turns serious as he looks to one of his admins. The admin was a woman, about the same height as Jade, which was slightly shorter than Giovanni. She wore a black, sleeved shirt, with white long gloves, with a small, white skirt for her lower piece. She had long white boots. On her head, her eyes were nearly visible, due to the large red and white hat she wore, but her blonde hair, in large curls, could still be seen, "Deal with her, Domino. Everyone else, go after the kid."
"Y-You won't get past me!" Jade shouts, going onto the defensive.
The blonde haired Admin, Domino takes a out a black rose, from her side, and makes it extend its size, quickly, to make it like a staff, which she spins, as soon as it reaches full length. She swings the black rose staff around, attacking a few times, making Jade block the hits and back away from the blows; then striking down, full strength, to put her in a blocking hold, for the other Rockets, and Giovanni, to get by them. As soon as they pass, the real fighting was on. Froslass, feeling helpless to stop them, did nothing to aid her trainer or stop the passing Rockets, though ended up following the Rockets, to give Arctic support.

Arctic didn't get that far, before realizing he was being followed. He calls out his Regice, hoping he has a prayer in his name. He sees that the space he's traveling in is narrow and gets an idea.
"Regice, use... Ice Beam!" Arctic said. Regice aims an ice beam at the ground before the Rockets, as it formed a wall, preventing them from going any further. Arctic laughs, heartily, as they go on; the threat of the pursuit was over, for the moment.
"Go around, men! Don't let him get away!"
"Yes, sir!" said the other Rockets. Giovanni stays behind, and then calls out his new monster, which was the evolution of his highest level Pokémon. Giovanni commands it and could only smile at the devastation of its most powerful move. Arctic wouldn’t stand a chance against it.

The Rockets, once again, continue their pursuit of Arctic, finally catching sight of him, as he just catches sight of the craft, where the holding cells were, and, possibly, Kaiorga and Candice... and more trouble... Arctic had to deal with the pursuers, first, though. Regice was still called out, so he decided to use that.
"Regice, Lock-on, then Zap Cannon!" Arctic commands. He wouldn't have used both of the attacks, at once, but he had caught a glimpse of a nearby Froslass of Jade's, which he knew that she was there, for support. Froslass fires an ominous wind, which draws the Rocket's attention away from Arctic, to see where the attack had came from, while Regice unleashes Zap Cannon. The bolt of lightning hit the ground, with such intensity, it sounded almost as if a round of machine gun shots were being fired on the ground, as it approached the Rockets, and then zaps them all. With one blast, the Rockets have been dealt with.
"Ha..." Arctic said, with relief, "Now, onto that craft!" Arctic said. He goes into the room, where there was a ladder that leads up to the craft, which he climbs up and enters the aerial craft. And who else but to be waiting for them, inside but Cassidy and Butch.
"Well, well, the hero boy arrives," Cassidy said, as she and Butch were waiting for Arctic in the holding cells, where Kaiorga and Candice were being held.
"Arctic..." Kaiorga said, relieved.
"Nice timing!" Candice said, also relieved.
"I'll get you guys out! I just have a few knats to swat, first..."
"The only knat we see, here, is a spiky haired one!" Butch said, "Now, we'll beat you down and get booted up to an Executive!"
Arctic calls out Regice again, "Think so?"
"UGH!" Both Rockets were spooked, at Arctic's power.
"We're in trouble..." Cassidy said, in a low voice.
"Uh... Raticate! Go for a Super Fang attack!" Butch calls out their team Pokémon, Raticate.
"Super Power..." Before Raticate could even get close, Regice raises a fist, charging it with rising intensity and then, as soon as it was close enough, throws the fist, knocking Raticate to the aircraft wall, though not smashing through it. It was a one hit wonder, "Odd, I thought he'd be half-way around the world, with that attack."
"This craft is made to be impervious to breaking, as well as your Pokémon attacks!" Cassidy said, then calling out a small Pokémon, about 2 feet in height, with light blue crystal eyes, a small, red crystal on its chest, and three crystals on its back, one red, one blue, both small, and a large blue one, on it's butt, "Sableye, attack!"
"Ice Beam," Needless to say, the battle ended, with no saving grace, to the Rockets. They flinched, as their Pokémon couldn't do the job of stopping Arctic, and they knew whatever else they called out, wouldn’t either, "Open the cell doors, before I hurt you guys... Again."
"Ack!" they both shout, backing away, though smirking, next.
"Huh? Didn't you hear me? Open the doors, or else!"
"Arctic!" Kaiorga shouts, pointing behind him. Giovanni was approaching Arctic, in a slow, casual walk.
"Phew! Saved by the boss..." said Cassidy.
"Oh please, I've beaten Giovanni before!" Arctic said, turning to Giovanni.
"You have, once, but I was caught off guard. This time, I won't be pulling any punches."
"Oh please, I'm gonna beat you so bad, your underlings won't even recognize you!" Arctic recalls Regice, for the time being.
"You truly believe that?" Giovanni tosses a Pokéball to himself, in one of his hands. Arctic calls out his Dewgong, while Giovanni calls out his Rhydon.
"Aha, see? As I said! This is going to be total overkill. Hydro Pump!"
"Protect," Giovanni commands. A green shield of energy surrounds Rhydon, blocking the attack.
"How long do you think that's going to save you? Hydro Pump again!"
"I don't have to depend on it. Rock Blast."
Rhydon pounds his fists together, and then forms artificial rocks, from thin air, throwing them at Dewgong, as he fires off his Hydro Pump. The Rocks squash Dewgong in, though Dewgong staggers in place, keeping himself from giving into one of his weaknesses.
"Okay, then, Ice Beam!"
"Take down," Rhydon rushes to Dewgong, though being pressed back, by Ice Beam. As it progresses to trying to fight off the ice beam, Rhydon starts to freeze solid. By the time he was almost to Dewgong, its legs were frozen shut, and soon, it was frozen, altogether.
"Phew! That was close!"
"Think so?" Rhydon breaks free from the ice.
"Ugh... What did you feed these guys, muscle mass?"
"It's called training, which you apparently have no time for. Take down, again."
Hit. Dewgong lies on the ground, dazed.
"Ugh..." Arctic recalls Dewgong, "Leafgreen, you're up!" Arctic calls out Venusaur, whom still hadn't fully recovered, from the previous skirmish, "End this quickly; Razor leaf!"
"Protect, again."
Rhydon protects himself, from the damage of the sharp leaves. Though, his guard only lasted for so long, before it finally broke, to the damage it was taking. Rhydon was hit, heavily, being knocked out. Giovanni recalls Rhydon.
"Hmm... Well done. Though, now Nidoking should tide you over," Giovanni's next Pokémon was a large, purple Pokémon, with spikes and plated scales, like armor, all over his body, below the neck. On his chest, there were different color plates, being a white color. It has a large horn, in the middle of his forehead, with three claws, on each hand.
"Leafgreen, Frenzy Plant!"
"Poison sting."
Large roots rise from Venusaur's base of its tree, on its back and then fling over to Nidoking, while he tries to fend them off, with small pins, shot from the mouth. It doesn't work and Nidoking ends up taking a massive amount of damage, staggering to stay up, but eventually falls back down.
"Critical," Arctic said, with an eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face. Giovanni recalls Nidoking.
"Oh, believe me; you have yet to see true terror. Nidoqueen, you're next!" Giovanni calls out Nidoking's counterpart, though in a blue color. Unlike Nidoking, the horns were smaller, and she had breasts, but, otherwise, it had the same aggressive look to its face, "Mega Punch."
Venusaur couldn't move, due to the Frenzy plant he used on Nidoking. Needless to say, he was a sitting duck, and ate the blow. Venusaur fell to Nidoqueen.
"Ouch... Well, don't count that as a powerful strike. Venusaur was worn out, from taking on your lackies," Arctic calls out Lapras, next, "Let it all hang out. Hydro Pump!"
"Poison sting."
Nidoqueen dodges the blast of water, and then fires off a round of poison sting pins, from the mouth. Lapras takes the hit, though dimly glows purple.
"Poisoned...." Arctic mutters, "Okay, you asked for it! Ice beam, now!"
Bearing with the poison, Lapras unleashes an ice beam, which freezes Nidoqueen shut, surely paying back the attack, with a passion. Although Giovanni was down to his last Pokémon, he seemed rather glad, than upset. In fact, he started laughing, as he recalled Nidoqueen back to her Pokéball.
"What do you find so amusing, Giovanni?" asks Arctic.
"Because this is where all your sorry efforts will be put to waste. This is where I'll finally stop you, boy!"
"What? You gonna send out your Persian, or something?"
"Oh, quite the contrary. It's just one of the many Pokémon, Ice trainers like you, just hate to fight. It's time to enter a world of pain. RHYPERIOR!"
As the Pokémon materializes out of its Pokéball, Arctic could barely squeak, seeing what was one of the most powerful rock types of the current times. In its main color of gray, it had several orange plates that look almost like brick. With four claws on each hand, a powerful drill in the middle of it's head, and a highly aggressive attitude, that surpasses its predecessors, it was truly a force to be reckoned with. And this force had a name, and it was Rhyperior.
"..." Arctic cringes at the sight of one of his worst fears; being on the wrong side of the advantages table; and to worsen the matter, with little hope of getting out of it.
"Uh-oh. We have a problem, here..." Kaiorga said, lowly.
"What? Why is he cringing like that?" Candice asks.
"What's the matter, boy? Don't have the stomach to fight it?"
"... I..." Arctic said his words unable to come out.
"Well, so much for your great strength. Rhyperior! Stone Edge!"
Rhyperior charges towards Lapras and rams into her, artificial stones materializing and then digging it’s way in Lapras's skin. Another descriptive words, for such a hit; Heavy damage. Lapras fainted, in one hit.
"ARCTIC! SNAP OUT OF IT!" Kaiorga shouts, "There's too much at stake, for you to lose!"
Arctic was still terror stricken, though heard what Kaiorga said. It wasn't enough, though, to get him over his fear. He manages to recall Lapras, and then call out Eevee, who was also still just recovering from previous injuries. Arctic, obviously, wasn't using his logic.
"An Eevee? Where's your head, boy?"
"ARCTIC! Wake up, ARCTIC!" Candice shouts. Arctic seems absent minded, "What's wrong with him?"
Eevee, seeing as how his master is... out of it, at the moment, takes the initiative of attacking his foe, without command. He uses Shadow ball, which barely scratches the surface, on Rhyperior.
"Tah! Completely useless. Hyper beam."
Eevee heard "useless" but had to deal with a weakness of his own; his low defense. Despite the taunt, Eevee still took the hit of Hyper Beam, which he hasn't yet to survive the blow, and falls. The girls lose hope, seeing as though nothing they say would get through to Arctic; who can't seem to get over his fear. All hope seemed lost.

Things were looking bad, on Jade's end, too. Domino applied constant pressure, which she wasn't in any condition, to take at the moment, and when she finally got a hit in, Jade staggers, though, keeps herself up, on her knee, with her staff.
"It's no use..." Jade mutters, exhausted from the fight.
"Heh. Completely outmatched. Though, this is all the fight you can expect, from pond scum," Domino said, approaching Jade, "Now, if you don't mind coming with me..." Though, just as Jade was about to be taken, the front door of the base was blown away, by a powerful blast of ice, that looked as though it had came from an explosion; due to some of the ice fragments nailed some of the lights in the base, making it dark, in some areas, "Wh-What?!"
"Huh?" Jade said, weakly, looking at the door. One of the attacks that were used flashed a bit, revealing the face that Jade had recognized.
"Wh-WHO ARE YOU?!" Domino cried, as she tried to defend against the attack, though was frozen shut.
"Aren't you..." Jade starts to ask, though then blacks out, falling on top of her staff. The figure places Jade, in a more comfortable position, and then forms a barrier, around her, so she couldn't be attacked, again. There was more fighting heard, throughout the base, though the person already knew what was the problem, and flies over there, to aid in the battle.

Meanwhile...

Arctic was on his last leg. Dewgong was rumbled, by a powerful Rock Blast and, Regice was lucky enough to face the sheer torment of Rock's most powerful move, Rock Wrecker. Arctic was out of Pokémon.
"YES! We won!" shouts Cassidy and Butch, "WE WOO-ON! WE WOO-ON!"
"Er-hem..." Giovanni clears his throat.
"Umm... I mean you won, Boss!" said Butch.
"Of course I did. Now, put the boy away, with the others, and make sure he stays away, for good..."
Cassidy and Butch grin, devilishly, "With pleasure..."
Though, just before they could put their evil deeds into action, an unusual bang is heard upon the wall.
"What was that?!" Cassidy asks; her and Butch stopping in their tracks. Another bang is heard, on the wall, outside of the craft.
"What's going on?! What did you do, this time?"
"This is not my doing..." Arctic said. A large fist is imprinted onto the wall, from the outside, as a third bang is heard.
"Wha?! How did-"
BANG!!" a large fist of ice breaks through the wall and as it recedes back, something flies through the hole, and then lands near Arctic. From the looks of it, a girl with long, light blue hair, a bow holding it back, and deep blue eyes, with a modest look. Apart from that, the girl had a long Sage's robe, with large snowflake symbols on the sides; with a long, but rather slim, sleeveless dress, and very long gloves, which reach almost to her elbow, covering most of her forearms. The yellow bracelet, over her right handed glove, which the sapphire used to be cracked, was now repaired. If you haven't realized it, yet, it's Aurora.
"Over my dead body, it's over!" Aurora shouts, defending Arctic.
"A-Aurora?! Where'd you get that badass robe from?!" Arctic asks.
"That's Aurora?!" Candice asks, shocked.
"It's a long story," Kaiorga said, subtly.
"What? Using your girlfriend, to fight your battles for you?" Giovanni asks.
"First of all, she's not my girlfriend. Second of all, this battle's not over yet," Arctic said.
"On what grounds? You're out of Pokémon!"
"Oh, I have one more, left," Aurora transforms back into her Articuno form, "Now, let's pick up where we left off, shall we?"
Giovanni scoffs, "It won't make a difference, anyway..."
"Oh, I believe it will. Mind Reader! Then Sheer Cold!"
"Your petty bird won't be able to pull off your sorry combination! Rock Wrecker!" Rhyperior goes in for his attack, though Aurora dodges it, making the move miss, "What?!"
"Finish it, Aurora! Sheer Cold, NOW!"
Rhyperior was frozen shut, by the one-hit wonderful KO move. Aurora had saved their hides, but for now, anyway.
"..."
"Aw MAN! All this work, for NOTHING! And I thought we'd get away with it, too!" Butch said.
"Looks like you thought wrong..." Arctic said; a hint of relief in his voice.
"Hmph. Looks like this mission was a failure, on your part, Cassidy and Chuck."
Butch groans, "Its Butch, sir..." he says, in a silent voice.
"Gather up the men. We're pulling out, back to base..." Giovanni turns back to Arctic, "You. Don't ever think you have had me on the run. That was sheer luck that you beat me. Next time, you won't be so lucky..."
"Next time, I'll have a better chance at fighting," Arctic smirks.
"Just remember one thing, boy; you can't stop us, no matter how much you interfere..." Giovanni and his cronies disappear into the darkness.

The next morning...

Much explanation was needed, to what happened, last night. Arctic and Jade became, somewhat, heroes, after the event, though the fame wasn't necessary, or anything spectacular. Things were, slowly, coming back together, as it was before.
"Well, that was a kickass night, to say the least, right? We thwarted Team Rocket, got the Pokémon back and kicked ass, back there," Arctic said.
"Yes, it was, but MAN, I'm tired..." Jade yawns, "And we have to move our building, so that the Rockets don't find us, again... Not to mention increase our security, have the building repaired, and-" Jade nearly falls asleep. Arctic claps, to snap her away, knowing that if he snaps his fingers, he might cause a random accident, "I WAS RESTING MY EYES!" Jade outbursts, snapping awake.
"Sheesh, Jade, you need a break..." Candice said.
"There's too much to be done..."
Arctic approaches Jade, and then points to fingers towards Jade's heart. He snaps his fingers, creating an effective doppelganger of Jade.
"I've made a clone of you, who's going to deal with your needs, using your own ideas, techniques and etcetera, so you can get some rest for the day," Arctic said. The clone walks away, to do the original Jade's job, for the day.
"Thanks, Arctic. I owe ya one..." Jade, sleepily, drags her feet on the floor, ready to collapse, at any given moment. Some of her aids, who stand by her, most of the time, help her to her room.
Oh? What do I see here? Arctic actually helping others, with his reality twisting? A.M. said.
"You act like I've never helped anyone, with my reality twisting," Arctic back sasses.
Willingly, you haven't. Usually, people have to threaten you, or put you in a very uncomfortable position, for you to help.
"Oh shut up. Friends help friends, as long as they don't push the limit of it. Plus, I want to see when we'll take off, into the sky, for this big movement!"
"The move?" Vince asks, "That's going to take place, in a minute or two."
"What?"
"Well, enemies are so far and few, but you can well expect that once one knows where we are, others will sure to follow."
"But, here's a question. How do you move all of this?"
"Psychic ability!"
Arctic widens his eyes, with excitement, "REALLY?!"
"Yep. How else do you think we can get all of this stuff around, without leaving a single thing behind, for an enemy to track it down? We simply take it all with us, on one swoop!"
"Kickass!"
"How? The base is probably built into the ground!" Kaiorga asks.
"Well, that's how it appears, but the snow covered it up. Every once, ever decade or less, depending on the situation, the bases change locations, to one of several specific locations, within a 15 mile radius of an "octagon" if you'd like to call it. Within the "octagon", is the dangers of the base, which leads enemies astray, and, if unlucky enough, to their DOOM! To us, it's not really a doom, since we know our ways around it, and how to get out of it, but to those unprepared for such a feat..." Vince adds the noise, as he slits his throat with his finger, "Yeah, you catch my drift."
"How many have you had, so far?"
"Well, we rounded up... I'd say about 2 a month. They weren't dead, or anything, just... you know, mind numbed."
A PA system went on, with clone Jade's voice on it, "Attention. The base will be moved, in a few more minutes. Please close the base off, pull in all I.C.E. members and prepare for the movement, to B5," the PA said.
""B5"" Kaiorga asks.
"We name our spots, just in case someone outside of us listens in. You never know. Never hurts to be too careful."
Several minutes pass and a large rumbling is heard, and then, as they look outside, the building, as well as some of the ground, appears to be suspending in mid air. The ride wasn't long, it only being a few minutes, but the landing was... moderate.
"I said "Easy!" Sheesh..." said one of the I.C.E. members, responsible for the Pokémon using Psychic to move the base.
"Quite a bump. Despite the extra room, for the area, there seems to be a problem with landing, well. We've done a couple of moves, as drills, and yet, the landings are always like this; too close to knocking something down from the walls or something."
"Huh. Well, at least the move's done..."
"Not quite yet..."
"What's next?" Several sounds of sled engines starting was heard, then they roar out of the base, and racing to the spot where they had just moved from, appearing to have something very large, in their possession. Arctic, being eager to see what it is, sees that the several sleds were headed that way, "Now what's going on?"
"We have to cover up what we left behind; a big hole. By uses of tarp and hail, along with a Blizzard to cover it up, it'll look as though our base was a mirage."
"Smooth..." Arctic said, with a prolong "oo", "So, I'm guessing, with everything running amok, the I.C.E. games are canceled?"
"Postponed," clone Jade said, "Apart from the repairs and security measures, the original Jade has to deal with the measure, not me. Most likely, the games will take place, tomorrow."
"Why can't you do it, though?"
"Well, I'm only limited to one day's duty, which I'll be gone, by tomorrow. That and I don't have any of my original's Pokémon, for the events. I am, as I was created; something for my original to give her time to get back on her feet."
"Hmm, you're right..." Arctic said, pouting, "I'll need some time to train, anyway, so I guess it's not all that bad, to wait another day..." Arctic heads for the training area, again, as clone Jade goes to do her business. Vince and Kaiorga were alone, which gave Vince an opportunity for an observation.
"Say..." Vince said, pinching his chin, "The way I see it, you look almost nothing like an Ice trainer..."
"Th-that's how I fool my opponents," Kaiorga said, caught off guard by the comment.
"Just saying..." Vince said, walking away. As soon as he was out of earshot, Kaiorga sighs in relief.

Part 6

The next day came quickly, as things were, swiftly put back in place, after the big move. There was a gathering in the main hallway, as the I.C.E. games were about to begin. The original Jade, which the clone had disappeared, as the morning rose, waits for Arctic's arrival, as she carries a large book in her arms, for the event to take place. Arctic approaches Jade.
"Arctic, this book contains the regulations of the I.C.E. games, the customs, and the names of those who've taken this challenge," Jade said, "There's only a few rules to read, and a few customs you have to follow, as you take this challenge. If you truly understand the set rules for you, sign somewhere on the last few pages."
Arctic twitches, as he sees the number of rules, on the page, "Gah-damn, this is a lot to read..."
"Don't worry about all of the rules. Just worry about rule #'s 7, 9, 10, 24 and 50. The rest of the stuff is just filler."
"..." Arctic skims the rules, reading them, and then turning to the last page, to sign his name. There were a few other names, there, as well, showing that this event has gone through the regular channels.
"Arctic, your role in this must be that you do this with only your current team, and despite what you think or have to oppose against; you'll have to go along with your decisions."
"I saw that rule," Arctic was ready to snap his fingers, to make a pen, for him to sign his name, but Jade already pulls one out, for him. Arctic takes that.
"Then, just sign your name anywhere..."
Arctic fits his name, somewhere in the middle of the page, where all the names were, the top being occupied with not enough room to fit his name. The second Arctic finished, the ink, which he wrote his name with, flashes, from letter to letter. Arctic raises his eyebrows, at the effect, though hands the pen back. Jade takes the book back, handing it to one of her aids.
"Let's go," Jade leads Arctic into the back of the base, were everyone else watched through a few of the windows. It was just Arctic and Jade, who were heading towards one of the hills faces that they stop, just as the hill was beginning its horizontal descent, "Our first priority is to get to the heart of the movement octagon. Follow me..." Jade calls out her Articuno, and then jumps onto it, from the edge of the hill, as it flies into the air. Arctic follows Jade's example, with his Articuno, and they're both off, towards the middle.
The ride was far from tolerable, due to a snow warning, as some Snover and Abomasnow were in the area. While that part seemed like it would last for a while, it was actually a more easy part. The two birds then had to fly into an ice cavern, which was even worse, considering the drop in temperature. The two riders had to have their Articuno fly around jagged ice shards and icicles; while they, themselves, endured the bitter cold that the cavern supported, from the outside temperatures. And through it all, Arctic made not a single gesture, that he was cold.
Finally, they arrive to the heart, where there were many tunnels, also created of ice, of a complex system, which lead to many ways to go to; most likely, one of the spots to which could be moved to. In the containers, similar to the ones where the I.C.E. agents came out of, more of the I.C.E. members come to observe and judge their progress. They were using the hoods on their robes, to shadow most of their faces, so that visibility was low.
"Welcome to the heart of the I.C.E.'s octagon of movement," said one of them, "Here, the judging of receiving the Snow Storm's eye symbol, will be tested for the challenger. If the challenger is worthy, he will not only be awarded the Snow Storm's eye symbol, but will also be a representative of the Organization T.Y.P.E. battles, in several months. There is no penalty for losing and the challenge can be taken as much as the challenger wants, though each time, back from the start. Is all of this clear?" the organization member was referring to Arctic.
"Yes sir," Arctic said, keeping a stern face.
"Both of your first tasks are to create a single-man sled, using your Pokémon to create it. They will not support your sled, to give you an advantage. Your task is to maneuver yourselves through the complexity of the heart, and arrive back here. Paths are taken, differently, and there's no means of taking the same path twice, so you won't have to worry about the Leader arriving before you."
"In a sense, Arctic, it all comes down to luck," Jade adds, hand her staff to one of the I.C.E. members. A Mamoswine brings in a large Ice crystal, dropping it in front of both of them.
"Your priorities, right now, are to make the sled," said another I.C.E. The Mamoswine slams the crystal, from the middle, breaking them evenly. Arctic calls out his Articuno, Eevee and Dewgong, as usual, while Jade uses her Froslass, Glalie and Weavile. When the sleds were complete, Arctic's came out as he usually has it made, while Jade's come out, somewhat sleeker.
"Now, line up your sleds, to any of the tunnel ways and get ready, on my mark," said a third I.C.E. Jade and Arctic move their sleds to a different tunnel, prepared for the race, "Get set..." Arctic and Jade jump into their sleds, with an I.C.E. behind each, about equal in strength. The other I.C.E. raises his hand, and then slices it down, in a cutting fashion, signaling the green light, "GO!"
And they were off. Both were pushed through, at around the same speed, as they travel faster, downward, making turns of sorts. Of course, with so much speed and room, the sled could go sideways and upside down, while traveling through it, that the only thing that was needed to be watched out for was your head onto the ice cavern floor. The sheer thrill of the ride itself kept the length of the race shorter, in terms of how long the ride was actually going for. On occasion, the two challengers saw each other pass by as they went through another system of tunnels, to where they would end up would be unknown.
The moment of truth came. Arctic saw the way out, and, after much passing around, he finally lands at the right tunnel, there. Though, this wasn't his observation, however. He saw Jade going that direction, as soon as he was passing by, and made a sudden U-turn, into that direction. Though, at the time, he was going faster than her, it came extremely close, when they both flew out of the same tunnel, landing at almost the same time. The I.C.E. members take their time, to judge the situation.
"Draw. Winner, by default, Leader Jade," said one of the I.C.E. members.
"Ugh..." Arctic groans.
"It's okay, Arctic. There are two more events. If you win the next one, you can still make it to the last round," Jade explains.
Arctic nods.

Later...

The group is lead to a certain area, where there appears to be a stadium, of some sort, shaped out of the ice, much like the one back at the base.
"Before we begin the next round, there are a few things that are needed to be done. First, the both of you are to hand over your best Pokémon," said one of the I.C.E. members. Arctic hands over his Articuno, while Jade hands over hers, "The next round is a show of skill. Your other Pokéballs will be removed, and one will be chosen back to you, at random. A single type trainer teaches his or her Pokémon to use moves that are capable of attacking any type of Pokémon. Your best Pokémon will not be used for this round of skill, and they will be restored back to full health, when we resurface. There will also be a set time limit. The trainer with the most available Pokémon, before we reach the surface or the Pokémon that knocks out all the opposing team first, wins. There will be three rounds, best 2 out of 3 wins."
Both of the trainers' Pokémon are removed, and one of them is handed back to them. The arena of the stadium ascends to the surface, slowly, while walls of Reflect and Light screen blocked means of falling off, symbolizing the beginning of the timed match.
"Go!" Arctic and Jade shout, calling out their randomized Pokémon. Jade calls out her Glalie, while Arctic calls out his Eevee.
"Eevee, Shadow ball!"
"Glalie, Gyro Ball!"
Glalie spins, at a high speed, towards Eevee, while he fires off a Shadow Ball. The ball simply deflects off the spinning Glalie, as it rams into Eevee.
"Okay, then Swift attack!" Arctic commands.
"Ice Beam!"
Eevee fires star-shaped rays, while Glalie fires a single beam. Eevee had to stop, however, to dodge the Ice Beam, before being hit by it. Swift misses.
"Bite it, then!"
"Crunch attack!"
Eevee avoids Glalie's vicious attack, and then counters with a heavy one of his own. By now, you have to remember how vicious this bite can be.
"Glalie! Another Gyro Ball!" Jade thought this would shake Eevee off, but Eevee hung on. A Kingler's Vicegrip had nothing on the bite of Arctic's Eevee, "What? Why won't it let go?!"
"Now, let go!" Arctic shouts, Eevee pulling off, "Finish it with Swift!"
Although, it was star-gazed, from all the spinning, the Swift attack managed to finish the duel. Glalie had stopped spinning, just for the star-shaped rays of Swift to hit it. Glalie was down.
"Match set! Arctic wins round one!" said the I.C.E. referee. Quickly, as they recall the Pokémon, the next round of Pokéballs are tossed back to the other observers, as they exchange another pair of random Pokémon. The next pairing was of Arctic's Lapras and Jade's Weavile.
"Crap!" Arctic said, thinking aloud.
"I'm guessing speed is an issue, for your Lapras," Jade said, "Weavile, Fury cutter!"
"Lapras, Surf!"
It seems that all Weavile have a problem at dodging large waves, coming at them. Weavile was hit and knocked towards the Light screen wall, soaking wet.
"Weavile, Swords Dance!"
"Thunderbolt!"
Weavile, nimbly, dodges the electrical currents with a huge leap into the air, then spinning to dry itself. Weavile then begins dancing aggressively, increasing his strength greatly. It lands, still taking the electrical attack, but shows its claw, as it glimmers from the sunlight, through the ceiling of the ice cavern, opening as they ascend slowly, for the top.
"Night Slash!"
"Hydro Pump!"
As always, speed beats Lapras by a land slide, once the Hydro Pump missed. Lapras was taken down, by the heavy hit.
"Match set! Jade wins the round!"
"One each. Last chance, Arctic," Jade said, as she recalled Weavile, and then tossing the ball to her observer. She receives one back. Arctic does the same, after recalling and handing over Lapras.
"I hope I get Regice..." Arctic mutters. They call out their Pokémon. Jade's Pokémon is Walrein and Arctic has Venusaur, "D'oh!"
"Hurry. Time's almost up!" said the I.C.E. judge, "Jade will win, by default, if neither of you attack."
"It's going to be over, quick. Ice beam!"
"Leafgreen! Sludge Bomb!"
Venusaur fires off the sludge bombs, they feebly block off some of the Ice beam, and whiffed the sight of Walrein's aim. The rest of the Ice Beam misses.
"Okay, now, Vine Whip!" Venusaur unleashes his vines and then smashes them into Walrein, for damage.
"Ice Ball!" Walrein begins rolling into a ball, ice forming around it, as it rolls. It smashes into Venusaur, doing moderate damage, at first.
"Sunny day, and then Solar Beam!" Arctic commands. Venusaur makes the sunlight turn harsh, though is hit, again, by Ice Ball, stronger than last time. This was Venusaur's last chance to finish Walrein, if not, deal harsh damage. Solar Beam was fired, and hits, without fail. Walrein was down, as soon as the stadium locks into place, after the ascension to the top.
"Match set! Arctic wins the event!" said the I.C.E. judge. Arctic sighs, heavily, in relief. The Pokémon are recalled, and handed to their observers, to be rejuvenated. The other I.C.E. members, including Kaiorga and Candice, arrive as soon as the battle ended, and they prepare to watch from the sides of the arena. Both of the trainers’ Pokémon were handed back to them, fully healed.
"The final event is a test of strength. There will be a full 6-on-6 match. The winner of this event will decide the outcome of who will win the Snow Storm's Eye symbol," said the I.C.E. referee.
The two prepare their Pokéballs, for the final event, neither one ready to back down.
"Don't expect me to pull any punches, Jade!" Arctic said.
"Long as you don't expect me to stand there and take them!" Jade replies.
"Begin!" said the ref.
"Froslass, you're first!" Jade calls out her Froslass.
"Dewgong!" Arctic calls out Dewgong.
"Froslass, Ominous wind!"
"Dewgong, Signal beam!"
A sinister wind was launched from Froslass' mouth, which breaks through the signal beam and damages Dewgong. Froslass became a bit stronger, after it.
"For cryin' out loud! Why doesn't that work?"
"Bug type attacks are weak against ghosts. I thought you knew that! Ominous wind, again!"
"I did, but... Gah! Hydro Pump!" Dewgong fires a powerful blast of water, but Ominous wind prevails, again. Dewgong's really starting to feel affected, as he was breathing hard, "What is this? Hydro Pump again!"
"Do I even have to repeat myself, Froslass?"
Froslass unleashes Ominous wind, again, breaking through Hydro pump and defeating Dewgong.
"Dewgong's unable to battle! Froslass wins round one!"
"..." Arctic groans, recalling Dewgong, "You tried; I'll give ya that..." Arctic calls out Eevee, next, "Let's go, Eevee! Shadow Ball!"
"Blizzard."
Eevee anticipates the blizzard, and dodges, still not fully recovered from the blizzard attack, from A.M.'s Glaceon. Eevee then fires the shadow ball, hitting, but not doing much, damage-wise, due to the stats boost of Ominous wind.
"Okay, that didn't work so great... Bite her down!"
"Freeze it! Icy Wind!"
A chilling wind blows to Eevee, as it approaches Froslass, biting down into her. Eevee lets go, only because Froslass fell.
"Froslass is unable to battle! Eevee wins this round!"
Jade recalls Froslass, "Done well out there, as usual. Glalie!" Jade calls out her Face Pokémon.
"Same thing as before, Eevee; Swift!"
"Not this time! Ice Beam!"
Eevee, slowed by the chilled wind, tries, desperately, to avoid the ice attack.
"This doesn't look good..." Arctic mutters, "Eevee, forget the swift! Charge in with Quick attack!" Eevee acknowledges that and regains his speed, for a short time, to charge in and attack Glalie, with his quick attack.
"That all you can do? Crunch!"
It was a hit, this time. Eevee finally had received a taste of his own medicine, as he tried to recover, from the powerful crunch. The Icy wind effect was still affecting Eevee, as he stumbles and staggers, trying to keep his footing. Arctic didn't want to push Eevee, but he didn't want to call him back, either.
"Err..."
"Glalie! Ice Beam again!"
"Eevee! Keep moving, with Quick attack!"
Eevee, using any energy he had in him, avoids the Ice beam with his speed. Though, after a while, his luck finally ran out, when he was cornered.
"Got ya now. Finish him!"
Ice Beam finally hit, as Eevee tried to scamper up the small Ice walls, and ended up sliding down. Eevee was out.
"Eevee is unable to battle! Glalie wins the round!" the ref judges.
"Good job, Eevee. Good job..." Arctic said, recalling him. Arctic wondered who to call out next. He looks at Regice's Pokéball and smirks, "Time for some Ice breaking action..." Arctic calls out Regice, "Let's go! Super Power!"
"Oh hell..." Jade mutters, as a powerful ice fist smashes into Glalie, knocking it completely off the field and into the side of the mountain; snow flying up, as the impact was made.
"Wow..." the ref said, "Glalie is unable to battle. Regice wins the round..."
Jade recalls Glalie, "I think we're in trouble..." Jade calls out Walrein. She'd call out Weavile, but it had double weaknesses to fighting. And her other Pokémon, Jynx, had a VERY low defense, and she didn't want to call Articuno out this soon.
"Regice, Super Power again!"
After seeing such devastation done to Walrein, despite the drop in power, Jade knew that it was now not too soon, to call out her X-factor.
"Walrein is unable to battle. Regice wins this round!"
Jade recalls Walrein, "Okay, you asked for it, now! Snow!" Jade calls out her Articuno.
"What? Calling out your best so soon?" Arctic asks.
"Heh. Return!"
"Super Power, once more!"
In a shocking turn of events, Articuno does a quick move of getting behind Regice, and then unleashing a flurry of attacks, which causes Regice to fall front on his face. It certainly wasn't getting back up.
"Wh-what just happened?!" Arctic asks, seeing Regice toppled over the floor, defeated.
"Regice is unable to battle! Snow wins the round!"
Arctic groans, recalling Regice. One of his main leverages was down, which left not many choices, on next Pokémon. Arctic calls out Lapras, next.
"Okay, Snow, take a break," Jade said, recalling her Articuno, "I'll get back to you, later on! Weavile! Go!" Jade calls out Weavile, which is Arctic's Lapras's weakness.
"For Chrissake..." Arctic mutters, "Lapras, use Surf, and then use... ICE BEAM!"
"Swords Dance, and then Night slash."
Repeating the earlier battle, up to the point were Weavile crashes into the light screen wall, which there is none, this time, Weavile jumps up, dances aggressively and increases his attack. From there, he descends over to Lapras, to unleash his fury.
"Dammit, I'm screwed!" Arctic thought aloud.
"Arctic! Use the move!"
"Are you crazy?! It-" Arctic groans, loudly, "FINE! HYPER BEAM!"
Lapras charges a beam in her mouth, towards the wide open Weavile. Lapras fires and, in devastation, actually beats Weavile, with the attack. Weavile lands with a thud, fried.
"Weavile is unable to battle! Lapras, miraculously, wins the round!" said the ref.
"I couldn't have said it better, myself!" Arctic said, Jade recalling Weavile.
"That was pretty cleaver. Though, now... Jynx!" Jade calls out her Jynx, "Your Lapras has to recharge, from the recoil of the attack, which means he's wiiiiide open. Psychic!"
A Psychic blast was delivered from Jynx, attacking Lapras. It wasn't critical, due to it's shell armor, but Special defense was cut.
"Lapras, fight back with another Hyper Beam!"
"Psychic again!"
Jynx fires another psychic at Lapras, before Lapras could charge for another hyper beam, defeating her.
"Lapras is unable to battle. Jynx wins the round!" Arctic recalls Lapras. He felt he'd have to resort to using Aurora, but then realizes he has one more Pokémon he thought he wouldn't use, again.
"Leafgreen!" Arctic calls out his Venusaur.
"Wow, do I feel really bad, for you! All Jynx's attacks are pretty much strengths over your Venusaur's weakness!"
"Ah, but you forgot that Jynx's defenses STINK! Sludge Bomb away!"
"Lovely kiss!"
Jynx went for Venusaur, but was stopped, midway, by a lucky sludge bomb. It dimly glows purple.
"Poisoned!" Arctic cries out, "One more shot should do it!"
"I don't think so! Ice Beam!" The Ice beam manages to freeze some of the shots aimed at Jynx, which gave her more time to continue, as well as build a wall of defense. Jynx jumps from behind the wall, readying another Ice beam. Unfortunately, the poison took effect, again, making Jynx flinch, and then, suddenly, fall over, in front of Venusaur, defeated, "Wha-What is she doing?"
"It's out! Jynx is unable to battle, due to poison! Venusaur wins the round!"
Arctic had two, Jade had one. Another climatic battle between Articuno, it was going to be. That is, if Venusaur, miraculously, beat Jade's Articuno, which Arctic even doubted. Jade calls out her Articuno.
"Leafgreen, Sleep powder!"
"I don't think so! Ice Beam!"
Jade’s Articuno had the speed advantage, quickly firing the ice beam. Needless to say, the round ended, with no saving grace, for Venusaur.
"Venusaur is unable to battle! Articuno wins the round!"
And it came down to this. Arctic knew it would come down to this. Arctic raises Aurora's Pokéball, "We can do this... You can do this... I know you can..." Arctic mutters, as he prepares to throw the Pokéball out. He throws it, calling out Articuno, the same time Jade did.
"Snow! Return!"
"Aurora! Return!"
Both Pokémon, evenly, balanced out the damage done to each other, showing that they were both working, equally hard, for their trainers, to deal damage.
"Snow! Ice Beam!"
"Aurora! Dodge it and use Wing attack!"
Jade's Articuno unleashes Ice beam, while Aurora dodges the attack. Jade's Articuno, Snow, widens her eyes in shock, as if she had recognized Aurora, and then is hit by Wing attack, knocked out of the air, but onto her feet. Snow took a huff, but looks back on her opponent. Aurora does the same.
"Snow! Try a Wing attack, yourself!"
"Aurora, Mind Reader and then Sheer Cold!" Arctic commands. Snow goes in for a Wing attack, while Aurora aims. Aurora is hit, but falls, pretending to have taken a fatal blow. When Snow lets her guard down, Aurora aerial recovers, before hitting the ground and unleashes her Sheer Cold attack, which hits Snow, and knocks her out of the air, defeated by the one-hit KO move.
The audience was devastated, and so was Aurora. She felt it must've been that ring that A.M. had given her that gave her this boost in strength, as well as the new outfit and powers. Arctic wasn't expecting that, either, being the most surprised.
"Snow is unable to battle! The winner of the match and of the I.C.E. games is Arctic!"
Arctic started out with a chuckle, and then bursts into laughter, "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! I WON!" Arctic said, letting it go to his head, once, though stops, embarrassed, "Sorry you all had to see that..." Arctic walks away.

Later that day...

In the main hallway, again, Jade and her aids wait for Arctic, as he approaches them. The aids appear to have a box of some sort, and Jade's clip piece was missing. The box was opened, and the clip piece was there. The Snow Storm's eye symbol.
"Well, Arctic, you did as I anticipated you might, at some point. You've proven your worth of this symbol, the Snow Storm's eye! Take it and wear it with pride!" Jade hands Arctic the Snow Storm's eye, and then something amazing happens. As the symbol leaves Jade's hands, it flashes, once, "W-what was that?"
A voice comes from the symbol.
Good job, Arctic, A.M.'s voice said, Who woulda thought you had it in ya? You earned this symbol, with much hard work and effort, and you didn't cheat your way into getting it.
"Well, I AM taking your challenge. I hope to beat you, you know..." Arctic said, or feels that he said.
Well, I bear good news and bad news. The bad news is Ash, your long forgotten rival, is in Sinnoh, where you should head, now. The good news is that Pika's power's wearing down, and his godmod powers are starting to fade.
"So... does that mean I can properly take him down?"
That, I'm not sure...
"What do you mean by th-"
Don't worry too much about it. Anyways, there's a little task, beforehand, I want you to do. Kaiorga will have the details, soon, but for now, enjoy your little fame, and this little gift, from me.
A brilliant light shines down, upon Arctic, from the sky, as his main clothes are burned off of him, and replaced with a new set. Arctic's hoodie was no longer gray, but now an ice blue color, with custom designed snow flakes on them; his jeans weren't changed in any way, except a slight difference in color, but he needed a new pair, anyway, and his shoes were now just pure white, instead of partially white and blue. The change took effect, as soon as he received his Snow Storm's eye symbol. Everyone was surprised to see the change in outfit.
"What?" Arctic asks, and then looking down at his new outfit, "Whoa!" Arctic checks out his new outfit, "I look positively bad ass now..."
"I wouldn't say "Badass" but I would say much more decent, though..." Kaiorga said.
"Err... well, with all that aside, here," Jade hands Arctic a pass, of some sort, "This allows you to have a special escort to come here, whenever you want," Jade lowers her voice, "A little gift from me."
Arctic nods, "Thanks. I'd give a speech, but I'd just bore you all to death, so I'll keep it plain and simple, okay?"
"OKAY!" everyone said, relieved.

The next morning...

Arctic and Kaiorga prepare to leave the Organization I.C.E. base. Jade, Vince and some of the other I.C.E. members are also outside, ready to bid their good-byes for now.
"Well, it's about that time," Arctic said, scratching the back of his head, "Hate to have to leave. There's still so much I want to do, here!"
"You can always come back and visit, any time," Jade said.
"Yeah, but there's something I have to do, first, before I come back, though..."
Jade nods, "I understand. Though just remember, you represent our base now, for the Organization T.Y.P.E. tourney. We'll let you know, a few days in advance."
"Alright. Well, it was fun while it lasted, but it's back to Reality time..." Arctic said, calling out Aurora, "Just follow the compass south-east and I'll be back in AMLIK..."
"Just be careful. There's an incoming blizzard, headed this way," Vince said.
"Will do!" Arctic and Kaiorga hop on the back of Articuno, and then take off.
As the group parts, Vince, Jade and her aids area all that's left there. Jade looks to her aids.
"Can I get a moments peace, please?" Jade asks.
"Sure..." the aids said, and then leave. Vince was ready to leave to.
"No, you stay," Vince stops, "You know of the girl that Arctic was with? She's not an Ice trainer."
"I figured that. The Pokémon she was using didn't look as though they were with her, long; and apart from that, the Blizzard badge symbols were on the Pokéballs, showing they were, obviously, rented. Also, she had no look of an experienced Ice Trainer."
"..."
"How come you knew all along, and didn't have her sentenced?"
"I kept her here, for Arctic. I knew he would probably hate me, if I did that to his girlfriend. Plus, there wasn't any harm done, and she did help us out, with some of the repairs, right?"
"Er, right..." Vince looks another way, "I... guess we can let it slide..."

Meanwhile, in Goldenrod...

Layla exits her house, remembering what she was doing last.
"I JUST REMEMBERED! BYE MOM! I'LL BE BACK SOON, OKAY?!" Layla shouts, as she leaves her house, again.
"Don't come back in a hurry!" Layla's step mom said.
Layla pulls out her Arctic tracker, and is off on the road, again.

Back with Arctic and Kaiorga...

"I think the journey should be a bit shorter, if we flew a bit faster, Aurora!" Arctic said. Aurora coos, annoyed.
"You don't have to be so mean to her," Kaiorga said.
"We'll be stuck in a blizzard, if we don't get out of here. I'll apologize later, but I really don't need anyone getting sick, AGAIN!"
Kaiorga was about to back sass, until she had gotten a match call, from Vincent, her cousin.
"Hello, Vincent?" Kaiorga asks, "... I see... Okay, we're on our way!" Kaiorga hangs up, "That was Vincent. He wants us to meet in Sandgem city."
"Sandgem?"
"It's a city, close to my home. My real home, in Sinnoh. Twinleaf town."
"Really? Well, I guess we'll be killing two birds with one stone, then! I'll still get to Sinnoh, and I can receive A.M.'s request!" Aurora clears her throat, "Err... We're not going to fly there, of course. We're going by ship..." Aurora continued to glare, "Okay, okay, sorry..." Aurora rolls her eyes, focusing back on the path ahead of her. The snow was starting to fall, as Jade said the blizzard would be approaching, "Just try to get us through this, Aurora."
Aurora nods, and then flies faster; destination: AMLIK region.

Cre-

A.M.: *stops before he wastes time* O-o" Y'know what? I don't have any guest stars that were used in this movie, so I'll just skip the credits, saying that everyone was themselves, okay? Good. I'm too lazy to actually write it all.

Dude... Haxachu's powers aren't wearing down. I saw it beat down a Cranidos in the latest series. Bloody Haxachu...

Anyway, nice going with the movie - great fun. And, the T.Y.P.E Org. idea sounds pretty awesome. Hmm... I should find a way to get Forrest involved. That'd be fun... -smirks to self-

Oh, yeh. If you were wondering, I've been meaning to give his team an update, and with the T.Y.P.E Tourney idea out in the open, it gives me the opportunity to do so. One regular team, and one type-enhanced team. Prob. Grass...

Regardless, I'll send you a PM.

I was thinking of an RP, but I couldn't think of the plot, as I told ya, Luce. @_@ Needless to say, the idea was abandoned.

Abandoning the chapter, for a second to say: anyone who wants to add a guy, for the T.Y.P.E. Tourney, PM the registration to me.

Wow I've been away for awhile. It's a great idea that you've gotten off your lazy butt Arctic. Hmm. I think I'll have to bring back someone from Arctic's semi past, albeit with a new team.

O_O" ALRIGHT! *slaps down the next chapter* There. Now everybody's happy.

Note: The following chapter, I'll be commenting through, a lot, though mainly, it'll be explaining the plot through the "Other story" that me and a friend are RPing through an e-mail system. So, as a forewarning, expect me to be interrupting the story, a lot!

Teedious Translation 62: Breaking up

After a brutal flight through snow, the pair reached Poviet City, a town in AMLIK, the only town with a main harbor to either the other Regions or the islands around AMLIK. Taking the boat trip through Poviet, the duo arrives, directly, at Sandgem city. In front of the Pokémon center awaited Vincent.
"Heya Vincent. How's things going, since that dilemma in Johto?" Arctic asked.
"Not bad. Nice duds, by the way." Vince said, "Anyway, here's the thing. A.M.'s request is that you come over and visit."
"Come over and visit? You mean like go back to his world?" Vincent nodded. "Alright then, where's the portal?"
Vincent threw up a Pokéball and called out Dialga, "There's your portal."
"Wait. We get to ride on Dialga?" Kaiorga asked.
"Yep. Though, please, don't forget to return him, when you guys get back, okay?"
"Will do, Vincent."
Arctic and Kaiorga hopped onto Dialga's back, as it knelt down for them to get on.
"Have a safe trip. Don't get lost, on the way over there..."
In a brilliant light, the three disappeared and transported to the other world.
**********
A.M.: Quick note: The event that's about to take place is an "Another story" add in. So, when things start getting out of place... Yeah... Sorry, no explanation, from me...
**********
The brilliant light formed, yet again, in front of a large house of sorts. Kaiorga sees her writer and A.M. from the window and waved to them and anyone inside. A.M., however, appeared dumbfounded, as if he hadn't expected it coming.
**********
A.M.: Really, I did not see them coming in. Tsu, the other writer and creator of Kaiorga, brought them both in, without a single warning, and I had to scramble up my assets and bear with it. =/
**********
Kaiorga's writer, Fan Thirteen (F.T., for short), acknowleged the two.
"It's Kaiorga and Arctic!" she shouted.
"Wait... WHAT?!" A.M. asks, dumbfounded. He looked outside.
"Are you talking about me or AVA Arctic?" asked a voice, inside, sounding like Arctic's, "Because we are two different people. And, plus, how did Kaiorga get a Dialga? I thought she had Kyogre?!"
The duo jumped down from Dialga and is approached by a small crowd of seven or so people, all of different attributes and clothing styles. The AMLIK crew was also there. A guy, who looked EXACTLY like Arctic, with the same name though old attire of the gray hoodie combo, also came out of the house. F.T. then explained why Kaiorga has Dialga.
"His," she said, then pointing to A.M., "is his *TLOLL Arctic. That's Vincent's Dialga, Vincent is Kaiorga's cousin."
Of course, the other Arctic interjected, "No, he originated as AVA Arctic." the other Arctic then pulled at Arctic's back hoodie, showing a trademark on the tag. "See? "Arctic vs. Ash property.""
"Um, can I help you?" Arctic asked, feeling a violation of personal space.
"Nah, I'm just proving a point," The other Arctic said.
A.M. was annoyed with the other Arctic, "Arctic, I could've proven that point myself... without the need of physical contact..." the other Arctic twisted his face.
**********
A.M.: Okay, I thought I could get away with it, but I'm even getting confused, now. To lift the confusion, our Arctic will have the title AVA Arctic, in front of his name. So, no more confusion.
**********
AVA Arctic turned to Kaiorga and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. F.T. greets them. "Hello there!!"
"Yo." AVA Arctic said. He turned to A.M., then glared at him, "You..."
A.M. snickered. "AVA Arctic still has a chip on his shoulder, since I keep on torturing the guy." He was talking to the others, and thumbing back to AVA Arctic.
The other Arctic patted AVA Arctic on the shoulder, "Dude, I feel your pain..."
"Yeah, us Arctic's really need to stick together. Only too bad we can't kick the crap outta him, right now, in front of all these good people."
"Yeah. Not only would that be rude, but then, Fan might kick our asses, too." the other Arctic nodded.
"Yeeeeah... Charming..." AVA Arctic twisted his face.
Kaiorga nudged AVA Arctic, "Don't be rude. Please?"
AVA Arctic widened his eyes, with a dear hatred for A.M., ""Don't be rude?!" As much tormenting and BS he subjected me to, I have every right to be rude to that guy!" AVA Arctic pointed to A.M., who smiled and gave him a thumbs up for the comment. Kaiorga placed a palm to her face, feeling quite ridiculed by her boyfriend's attitude.
"Squabbling like an old married couple..." F.T. said, then giggled.
"Heheh. Sucks to be you." A.M. said, sticking out his tongue.
"What's that supposed ta mean?" AVA Arctic asked, the other Arctic also making an annoyed face.
"But what about you two?" Kaiorga asked.
"What about us?" F.T. asked, confused.
"You two are stuck to each other like glue like a married couple!!"
A.M. flinched, as if he had been stung by the words, "Wha-?"
"Yeah, she's right!" AVA Arctic said, also acknowleging the fact.
The other Arctic was now snickering. "Payback..."
The writers were dumbfounded. They didn't get what their creations were saying about them, "I don't get it..." F.T. said to A.M.
"I'm just as stumped..." A.M. replied.
"As long as we're not wooden boards named Plank, then we're fine."
*******
A.M.: Ed, Edd 'n Eddy reference. In this story, we break all the rules of copywrites, being that it's OUR story. *ranting in progress* And yes, you can bet that we broke all the Legendaries rules on Pokémon, being that almost every family member in the group has at least one. Or almost everyone. >>; Call it hax all you want, but still, I'm not changing that factor. Our story, no limitations. Why should we abide to what everyone things about the canon? Screw the canon. *ranting done*
*******
Just then, a long, black haired male, with purple eyes, appeared out of the house. His clothes were gothic inspired, but won't be gone into description so much. As he saw the Dialga, a horrible memory comes back, as he acknowleged who's Dialga it was, pointing and shouting. "HEY! THAT'S THE DIALGA THAT RIPPED MY UNDERWEAR OFF!" He shouted.
The guy's girlfriend, Fuji by name, spews out her lemonade, from the comment. "NICK!!!!!" She screamed.
"What?" the guy, Nick, asked, "It did!"
Using his own power of darkness, he formed a portal, leading to a memory of what had happened.
*********
A.M.: Note, the following memory will be both confusing and hilarious. Though, back then, the guy, Nick, used to be a bad guy, and running with my own "Organization XIII." Except it was 15 members and was named "The Hammerheads," which were a bunch of beings called "Anticlones" who were on a search for their identities. o_o" God, the team name was a retarded name, now I think about it... Good thing I changed it to "The Defenders" later on... Anyways, onto the flashback... The story was written in script, and since I don't feel like altering it, the story's in it's original state... Without further ado, the flashback...
*********
Flashback...

AntiNick: *head pops outta a portal* Just be glad that AntiLuke doesn't make a grand appearance himself and Bichslap you all the way back to Little root town. *goes back in the portal*

Dark Anima(F.T. at the time): Hey! I repaired though! as an apology for breaking it in the first place, you BAKA! >_<
[Before the portal closes, Dialga aims it's mouth and performs Roar of Time into the portal (the same thing it did last time)]

AntiNick: *repeats himself, due to Roar of Time* Just be glad that AntiLu-*Whapped by D.A* Ow! Whatcha do that for?!

[Dialga gets the chance to cue itself and bite AntiNick square in the BEEHIND!!!!] [CHOMP!!!]
AntiNick: YEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOW!! GEEETT! IITTT! OOOOOOOOOOOOFFFF!!! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!!! *AntiJulie and AntiSteven try to pull him off, to no avail, he's still flailing around like a retarded goose*

[Diagura bites harder as AntiNick runs around, fast forwards time makes a portal for itself (a small one, about the size of your hand) and jumps through as AntiNick still runs around like a crazy chicken without a head]

AntiSteven: Hey, dude.
AntiNick: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
AntiJulie: AntiNick...
AntiNick: THE PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!!! >_<
Anti??: *Throws a straight forward Punch, in which AntiNick just runs into* Calm down, you lily-livered, pajama wearin' totty...

[Diagura comes out through the small portal with a big piece of AntiNick's underroos in it's mouth, quite happy with itself]
D.A.: [picks him up] who's are these? [laughs at the happy look on it's face as she rubs it's head]

[That was just WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too wrong. O_O"]
Arctic: Okay, now what? I said what I had to say...
D.A.: [takes the underroos out of it's mouth] Yuck...whoever wore these had trouble wiping their..
O.H.: AS he was saying! [turns to Arctic for an explanation for the honeymoon]
D.A.: [makes a small portal and throws it in there, then closes it]

Meanwhile...

AntiNick: Hey, has anyone seen my underwear? *Portal opens, underlloos flop onto his head* Oh, that's just plain disgusting, man...
[AntiJulie and AntiSteven laugh]

*********

End of flashback...

"Yeeeeah... Not my pleasant bundle of memories..." Nick said, a very grimace look on his face.
F.T. was on the ground, holding her stomach in a fit of laughter. AVA Arctic was also laughing his ass off. A.M., however, was very surprised.
"HA! You got OWNED!" AVA Arctic shouted, pointing and laughing at Nick.
Nick took out a Pokéball, inside it containing Darkrai, "You want to be put in a nightmaric sleep, again, like last time?"
AVA Arctic had shut up instantly, with a very timid, high squeaky voice, "No sir..."
Dark Anima scratched her head, sheepishly.
*********
A.M.: Two things. One, me and Fan (I still call her Tsu, from her previous alias as Tsumi-san, or Tsumi Asakura). Anyways, Me and Fan used events from all kinds of game media, as well as stories, which explains why Nick knows of what happened in the Urban Forest movie. Two, Dark Anima, now, is her own character, and not under the guise of F.T. anymore. Also, she's the other Arctic's wife, so to speak, and they had a kid. Though, that's not really important. Just pointing stuff out.
*********
The other Arctic pulled up a very interesting point, "So, what of Layla? I thought she'd be tailing you."
Kaiorga crossed her arms, "Don't know. Do YOU know, Arctic?"
AVA Arctic had a slight state of shock, "Don't know. Don't WANNA know!" AVA Arctic replied.
"I'd thought she'd follow you to the ends of the earth." the other Arctic replied, then raised an eyebrow, "Or did you tie her up and leave her in a Pokémon center basement, again, like last time?"
AVA Arctic looked at his counterpart, as if he was crazy, "And risk getting slapped with a Bigga-dan-yo-momma ring again?! I don't think so!" he replies.
Kaiorga shruged, "Ah well."
"I find that rather funny," F.T. said, then started to chuckle.
"Oh laugh it up..." AVA Arctic muttered. F.T. shrugs but still giggled.
"Yeah, but Kaiorga, don't you have issues with Layla too? I mean, after all, you're both trying to get to Arctic, right?"
Kaiorga huffed. "I called shotgun on him first.."
As Kaiorga said that, a pokeball popped open from Fan's belt, letting out a Pichu. The Pichu had a black bow on one ear. Fuji was the first to comment.
"Holy crap that Pichu's cute..." she said, awed by it's charm.
The Pichu ran over to I.S., taking a comfortable seat on his head. F.T. only giggled.
I.S. petted the Pichu, "The little guy reminds me of..." I.S.'s trail of thought goes off, as a "D'aaaaaaaaaw" is heard, coming from F.T. The Pichu was hugging his hand.
Meanwhile, A.M. had forgotten what he had asked, "What did I say before? I knew I asked something." He was ignored.
"What do my little Pichu remind you of?" F.T. asked.
I.S. took a small pause. "... It's nothing."
******
A.M.: My god, Tsu stole the show. "That's it. Time to steal the show BACK!" Exactly how I felt. I got to steal Fan's thunder, later on...
******
F.T's Umbreon rushed the scene, running around F.T. Another "Awww" comes from Fuji. F.T. picked up her Umbreon, nicknamed Oblivion, as it buried it's head in her neck, wagging it's tail. As all of this happened, an odd sound is heard, along with two shadowy figures, one floating and the other, apparently, a human figure.
"Unidentified object off the hindquarters," F.T. said.
Everyone then looked, as the two figures approached, the floating object approaching faster than the human one.
"Something tells me that this won't be pretty," A.M. said.
The floating object, which was a Shiny Porygon Z, in colors of white and blue, zipped forward, sticking onto A.M.'s face. Even the Arctics were satisfied, with the result. F.T. stood there, silent but surprised. Lenny's teenage daughter, Asuka, hurried to the scene, to catch up with her Pokémon.
"Oi!" she shouted, to the others.
Meanwhile, A.M. was on the ground, quite annoyed with the Porygon Z, "Get off of me, before I hurt you..." A.M. said, plainly.
"HA-HA! Serves you right!!" AVA Arctic shouted.
"Oh, shut up..." A.M. said. Asuka tried pulling off her Porygon Z, off of A.M.'s face, but it stuck to his nose, like glue. All on the sidelines, F.T. was in another fit of laughter. In the end, A.M. ended up thrusting his head, back and forth, to finally pull it off, "Ouch... KEEP THAT THING IN IT'S BALL!" Both Arctics were now cracking up, to which, causing A.M. to snap on them, "You two, shut up, before I decide on what happens to you next!" They both shut their yaps, mighty quickly, "That's what I thought..."
"But it doesn't like being inside the Pokeball," Asuka said. As she said that, her Porygon Z only stuck back on A.M., this time on his chest.
********
A.M.: And that's where I drew the line... only to be crossed, several seconds later...
********
With a mighty yank, A.M. pulled the Porygon Z off his chest, preparing to throw it. "YAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" he shouted, as he threw it, "HA-HA! TRY COMING BACK NOW!!" to A.M.'s surprise, it does, as a boomerang effect, then whomping and sticking to his face, again; this time, knocking him down "I... hate you..." he muttered.
Asuka pulled her Pokémon off of A.M.'s face, once more, as it stuck to the top of her head. F.T. was laughing so hard, tears were coming out of her eyes. A.M. glared at her.
"I'm gonna get you, Fan," A.M. said, loud enough for her to hear it.
F.T. got up, wiping a tear from her eye, "Love you too," she replied, kiddingly.
A.M. was clenching his fist, getting angrier, "You're asking for it..."
*******
A.M.: Time for the big payback. Show stealing jutsu, activate!
*******
Just then, something else approached, draumatic music playing in the background.
"You're still in denial that you still love m--MMF!!!" F.T. started, but then was muffled and cut off, by Porygon Z sticking to her face.
*******
A.M.: Thank you, Porygon Z. *salutes*
*******
"No, I think something else is coming..." AVA Arctic said, as he acknowleged the approaching, unidentified person, on the back of a racing Ninetales.
"Uh-oh... the big one..." A.M. added.
F.T.'s Umbreon growled, as the Ninetales with the person on it approached. F.T., herself, pulled of the Porygon Z, with a loud pop. It was then that the figure gave off a loud cry, to whom all you AVA fans know out here...
"ARCTIICAAAANS!!" Layla shouted, then jumping off her Ninetales, to tackle AVA Arctic.
"OH HELL!" AVA Arctic shouted, turning to flee, but then being tackled to the ground. They rolled around, a bit, with Layla ontop, happy to see AVA Arctic. How she could tell the difference between the two Arctics is a mystery we'll never know...
"Layla..." A.M. said, then blinked at the recognization, "How the hell did she find us here?!"

Flashback...

"My Arctic tracker tells me he was right..." Layla said, then looking up, to see a dimensional portal, "What the...?" She looked at the portal, then her Arctic Tracker. With nothing to lose, she jumped through. When she got through, on the other side, she was blasted far from the house, face first, into the ground, "Ouch..." She noticed her tracker beeping. With a gasp, she saw that Arctic was close by. She calls out her Ninetales, and jumped on her back, "NINETALES! FOLLOW THAT BEEPING! GO THAT WAY!" she shouted. Ninetales charged toward the direction pointed.

End of Flashback...

"... Well, that answered my question..." A.M. said.
"Anyone hungry?" Kaiorga asked, pulling out her wallet. F.T. raised her hand, "I'm stopping by Wendy's."
A.M. was surprised, especially after seeing AVA Arctic, being pinned down by Layla, "So... Kaiorga... You're not going to do anything with this matter?"
"No. Anyone else hungry?"
A.M. was surprised by Kaiorga's response, "So you're just gonna let him get mauled by the one person you DON'T want to take him?!"
Kaiorga, grimly, turned her head to A.M., "I'm going to end up losing him anyway..."
A.M. narrowed his eyes, looking away from Kaiorga, "Oh, the optimism..."
At this point, the other Arctic snagged Kaiorga, by the collar, "Look, you, you're pretty much letting her step all over you, if you keep this up! If you want to keep Arctic, you gotta be more assertive!" the other Arctic said, shaking Kaiorga madly. "BE MORE ASSERTIVE, GAH-DAMMIT!!"
A.M. had caught the Other Arctic's hint of cursing, next, and covered one of the kids' ears, "Hey! Language, people!" He shouted.
"I've tried doing it the civilized way more than once; by talking to her directly. But it's like talking to either a brick wall or a deaf person," Kaiorga said, after the shaking session ended.
In Layla's defense, Arctic turned to look at the two, "She's not that thick. Yeah, she's thick, but not AS thick as you think. Either that, or she goes into her own little world, whenever you want to speak. And thus, it breaks into an arguement, because she's not listening..."
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" AVA Arctic screamed.
"The other part to it," the other Arctic continued, "is that that Arctic can't get rid of her. As of his rules, of using his powers, he can't use his powers to harm another being. Same goes with me, though, we both break that rule for the purpose of comic relief. Layla, whom also has the power to bend reality, for whatever reason A.M. gave it to her, can cancel his reality twisting, if they both snap at the same time... Oh believe me, he's tried." The other Arctic chuckles.
"Can you please stop lolling around and help me?!" AVA Arctic shouted back.
F.T. instigated the situation, by pushing Kaiorga into the mix. She took the example to shout, desperately, "SHOTGUUUUUUUN!!!!!" As she does, she took hold of both AVA Arctic's arms. Of course, AVA Arctic then sensed what was going to happen next.
"Uh-oh..."
"HE'S MINE!" Layla shouted, pulling at AVA Arctic's legs.
"Well, at least now, this'll prove Kaiorga's earlier question to which side Layla would have..." Arctic commented.
A.M. gave the other Arctic a shocked looked, "Arctic, who's side are you on?!
"No one's. I'm neutral."
""You're a pain" is more like it..." A.M. glared at him. Arctic thumbed up.
Though, all of this was stirring the little Pichu's head, confusing him and making him dizzy. In the end, it resorted to using Thunderbolt to quell the two girls, hitting them both, including AVA Arctic, as the result.
*********
A.M.: HA! The poor sap had it coming to him! xD
********
The three of them scream, being attacked, then fall out, in pain.
"Nice one, Pichu," A.M. said with a grin. The Pichu giggled, blushing.
"You guys okay?" F.T. asked.
AVA Arctic rose up first, "NO! I NEARLY GOT TORN APART BY TWO GIRLS WHO LIKE ME! WHAT DO YOU THINK?!" AVA Arctic shouted back. Layla and Kaiorga had recovered next.
"Ouch..." Layla moaned, though then looked toward Kaiorga, pointing at her, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!"
F.T. then covers Dustin, her adopted son (The same ears A.M. was covering); she was covering his ears.
"MY FAULT??!!!! I KEEP BLOODY F***ING TELLING YOU THAT HE'S WITH ME!!! BUT DO YOU LISTEN AT ALL?!!! NO!!! SO WHY BOTHER??!!! I SAID THAT PART EARLIER!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kaiorga boomed back. She glared Layla down, then took her leave into the darkness.
"Okay, THAT'S ENOUGH!!" Arctic boomed, louder than both of them. It was so powerful, thunder rolled in the background, as he said it.
"Ooh, nice effect..." A.M. said.
"Huh?" Layla asked, turning to AVA Arctic, "Arctic? What's wrong?"
"You two! Layla, Kaiorga has been trying to tell you that she's with me, but you've been TOO thickheaded to listen." And then here's the mistake. He turned to Kaiorga, "Kaiorga, GET BACK OVER HERE BEFORE I KICK YOUR ASS!" he shouted.
She heard the "Kick your ass part" and turned at her heels, "What?!" Kaiorga asked, infuriated, turning back to AVA Arctic, "What did you say?!"
"And you! I'm shocked at you! I know that telling someone as thickheaded as Layla the truth is hard, but that give you NO REASON TO EXPLODE ON HER!"
"Thickheaded?! I'm no-"
AVA Arctic interrupted Layla, by turning sharply toward her and snapping at her, " SHUT UP!" AVA Arctic boomed, then turning back to Kaiorga, "People like that need patience to tell, though there, you proved to have absoultely no patience at all. I'm sorry, Kaiorga, but until you straighten up your act, I'm afraid we're not a couple anymore!"
Layla jumped for joy, hearing the words she always wanted to hear.
"What?!" Kaiorga felt as though the words had killed her, inside, "But I didn't even do anything!" AVA Arctic made a face of disgust at Kaiorga, then walked away, "Arctic!"
The other Arctic stopped her, before things got even worse, "Kaiorga, I think you do know what you did. As well as I know that Arctic, he takes things seriously, when he sees conflict. Even if it's someone who he dislikes, he'll cop a bad attitude."
*******
A.M.: If you haven't noticed, both Arctics share the same personality. Dry sarcasm, at times. They both hate me. And they explode on people who truly deserve it. It hasn't been pointed out with the other Arctic, on the last one, but in the stories, he HAS done it, loads of times.
*******
Kaiorga then gets vicious, as her words were just as loud as before, "WELL FINE!!!" she shouted. She turned to Layla and pointed her fist toward AVA Arctic, "There's your prize!!!"
F.T.'s mouth was slightly agape, with shock. She was speechless.
"I'm going back home to Twinleaf!!" Kaiorga shouted. She turned to the others. "I'm sorry you guys had to see that, really."
Kaiorga called out her Staraptor, hopped on her back and headed back through the portal to their worlds.
Layla was about to take AVA Arctic's arm, until AVA Arctic stopped her. He huffed. "Who said I was interested in Layla?" he asked. And suddenly, it felt as though Layla had broken in pieces. " I'm going back on my part of the journey." Arctic called out his Articuno, "Aurora, let's book it."
And with that call he went back through the portal, understandably upset; Layla tailing behind him, for a short time, then heading home. Suddenly, it appeared that a good relationship just shattered into pieces.
************
And that's the end of the chapter, folks. =/ Need I say more? ... Well, yeah.
Will Kaiorga and Arctic get back together?
What will become of Layla?
Will Nick every overcome his traumatizing event?

Find out in part 64... And yes, part 64. Not 63. ^_^

Good news and bad news. The bad news is that AVA is taking an abrupt ending. After so much time put into some of my most prized work, I'm ending the story here. I simply can't continue hindering my abilities writing this. And editing it is nigh impossible. So, sorry all. AVA's end is here.

However, the good news. AVA will go but it will be made new from the ashes. I'll leave most of the anime canons out of the story, this time. That means no more Ash and co. No more haxed Pikachu. And to make a more clearer plot. =/

So, to many's dismay, AVA ends here... But starts again...
