I kind of agree with Lucifer. Hynposis and Spore are SOOOO mcuh butter, because Sleep powder misses all the time for me and it's a total pain in the ass.

I sort of understand your point about Spore, but I don't get how Hypnosis is better. In the accuracy chart, it's:
Spore: 100 Sleep Powder: 75 Hypnosis: 70
Granted, there have been cases where these figures can seem like they don't hold true (there are times I swear Dragonbreath paralyzes more often than Thunder hits), but I'm afraid I've gotta disagree with you on this, Bugler.

Gastly/Haunter/Gengar also don't learn Sleep Powder. Hypnosis just looks/sounds cooler than Sleep Powder. And Hypnosis has had less misses than Sleep Powder's had hits for me.

That argument reminds me of my thing with Hydro Pump, Fire Blast, and Blizzard. I hit more often with Blizzard and Fire Blast (seriously! I don't usually miss when I use FB and Bl!), but Hydro Pump...I rarely hit. T~T
Anyway, I like the Pokewalker idea~. :3 You get exercise while you train your Pokemon! XD

I've been wanting to see a fossil pokemon of a raptor with feathers. Idk why. It'd just be interesting to me. Just wanted to mention that.
What I'm most excited for is the design of the game. Ecruteak City looks like it's in an Autumn season. I love it. Everything else, i also hope the story has more to it and such. But again, the design is what I look foward to most. I'm tired of playing Crystal in 2D and all boring lookin.

Sonrisa, I think I found your raptor with feathers. *Gets boo'ed off the stage* Okay, seriously though, I've been wondering about Togepi in this game. You know how in LeafGreen and FireRed, whenever you trade for Mimien the Mr. Mime, his nature is ALWAYS "timid"? I'm sorta wondering if everyone gets the same Togepi, too. Perhaps it doesn't work the same way, but I know that when you get the egg, THAT determines your pokemon's nature and ability on the spot. I'm not a total perfectionist, but I'd much prefer Togepi's Serene Grace ability to Hustle. If I got a Hustle Togepi, I admit I'd just restart the game from the last save point before the egg. (Note to self: avoid Elm's Assistant until acquisition of bicycle). I am REALLY looking forward to this game. Personally, I think the music sucks since it refuses to keep any sort of beat, but the pokemon selection is awesome. You can get some legitimately good pokemon just when you really need them in the plot, and though they're hard to catch, they're damn well worth it. I'm gonna start with Chikorita, which is a pretty well-balanced creature who learns the kickass Razor Leaf right away. (Plus, since I intend to capture Entei and Suicune, I won't need Typhlosion and Feraligator). Then I'll get Mareep, which (with any luck) might be obtainable this time before fighting Faulkner. Eh, either way, he's a badass rebel of an electric pokemon. After the team picks up Headbutt, Heracross is next on my list (check out the moves he learns- he's a BEAST for a bug-type). Then comes Tauros in the West Ecruteak Grasslands, who should be a pain to find, but a prize worth seeking. And during the whole time, Togepi should steadily be growing into what'll eventually be Togekiss, an above-average flier pokemon. Of course, I'll have a Sentret taking up spot 6 on my team, as the HM bitch / battle decoy. It's a very well-rounded group, if I do say so myself, and they'll be simply godly by merely level 32. That's really good for this game, considering Johto is the region of the lowest-level pokemon trainers anywhere. It's just . . . I'm a little sad that this team may not last. If I go hardcore, and capture the three Legendary Beasts while training up an Umbreon and a Dragonite, I'll have no use for the above-average team anymore. It's like playing Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for the GBA, and getting a whole deck of level 9 Three Wishes and Cloud summons 3 levels into the game. It'll last you, but it pales in comparison to the end-game weapons. Well . . . okay, maybe not Cloud, but hopefully you get the point. Anyway, I'm bouncing on my heels, here. Once I'm comfortably settled as a teacher, and my first summer of freedom comes, I am totally gonna do a let's-play of SoulSilver! . . . If I can figure out how to properly record it. This game is freakin' amazing!

When I got my Egg, it was a Togepi. I'm still on my first playthrough though, so I'm not sure if Togepi is your only choice. And I agree Kenta, I love this game to bits! ^ ^
